본 논문에서는 인공지능 교육에서 소외계층의 지원 방안을 도출하기 위하여 소외계층과 일반 학생의 인공지능 교육과 관련된 여러 요인의 실태를 조사하였다. 실태 조사 결과를 소외계층과 일반 학생을 비교하여, 소외계층의 인공지능 교육에서 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구를 위하여 인공지능 교육 관련 실태를 조사할 수 있는 설문을 구성하였으며, 온라인을 통해 설문을 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 소외계층 662명과 일반 학생 1,482명이 설문에 참여하였다. 소외계층은 일반 학생보다 인공지능에 대한 관심이 높았으며, 프로그램이 언어나 피지컬 컴퓨팅을 경험한 학생 비율이 높았다. 또한, 인공지능 직&·간접적 경험의 비율은 일반 학생과 비슷한 수준이었다. 하지만 인공지능 교육 경험 비율은 일반 학생이 약 20% 높았다. 이러한 내용을 종합하였을 때, 인공지능 교육에 대한 관심은 높지만, 인공지능 교육을 받는 학생의 비율은 낮은 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

Library and information science(LIS) has been focused on the issues of information poverty and barriers and their relations, mainly in terms of current information users. However, potential users usually out of sight in library and information services undoubtedly are to be developed as legitimate clientele. In this regard, this paper attempts to shed light on some factors related to the methodological underpinnings of LIS. Ethnographic research is particularly highlighted. Since the mid 1980s, as full-fledged research of analyzing the contingencies of information use as situated in particular times and places. md using that analysis to inform user-centered information systems design LIS researchers and practitioners have been exploring possible use of ethnographic approaches, especially in studies investigating information world of the socially marginalized. This Paper addresses issues in conducting ethnographic studies in the discipline. This paper also discusses the experiences in conducting ethnographic based research md how the results of their studies may be or have been useful in improving information services fir specific populations.

최근 아날로그 방송이 디지털로 전환되는 시점을 맞이하여 디지털방송 소외계층이라는 새로운 의미의 신종어가 대두되고 있다. 아날로그 방송시대에는 방송전파가 미치지 못하는 낙도나 산간지역 시청자를 일컫는 말이었으나 디지털 시대로 접어들면서 디지털기기의 작동방법을 모르는 디지털기기 미숙달인이나 노인층, 고음질과 고화질의 서비스 향상에도 불구하고 혜택을 잘 받지 못하는 시청각 장애인, 고가 HDTV를 구매하기 어려운 저소득층, 국내거주 외국인을 포함한 디지털방송의 다양한 서비스 혜택을 골고루 받지 못하는 모든 사람들을 광의의 디지털방송 소외계층이라볼수있겠다. 이에 디지털방송 소외계층을 고려한 방송통신위원회의 디지털방송 전환 정책에 대하여 살펴보고 실제적으로 소비자가 알아두어야 할 기본정보 및 디지털방송 수신기의 종류와 개발 현황에 대하여 알아본다. 그리고 디지털방송 소외계층별로 현실적이고 보다 실질적인 디지털방송 서비스 정책과 적합한 디지털방송 수신기선택방법을알아보고자한다.

The signs of the information society are everywhere, as they became the essentials in ordinary citizen's everyday life. This change requires the modern man to have proper information literacy in order to maintain their lives, and the digital divide between the established and the marginalized in the society is being widened. The gap between the two classes is the single most significant factor in reproducing the socially marginalized such as the urban poor, the disabled, the aged and migrate foreign laborers, core information poor. This study attempts to scrutinize the social problem of information barriers as viewed through the everyday lives of five disabled people. Through various ethnographic positioning and research methods, information needs and information related behaviors, along with general recognitions and reality control strategies are investigated.

This study intends for providing a methodological foundation for information behavior research. To the end, we classify the 'Minority Groups' into two separate groups, ethnic minority and socio-economic minority. Then we reviewed the relevant literature with emphasis on analyzing the methodological characteristics. In details, our focus was on identifying the queries and variables of the collected major articles, and on introducing the methods used for data collection and interpretation in those articles.

제3차 영재교육진흥종합계획을 통하여 소외계층을 대상으로 한 영재교육의 활성화가 진행되었다. 이에 따라 전체 학생 중에서 영재교육의 대상자 수의 비율도 증가하였으며, 영재교육 대상자 중 소외계층의 비율도 증가하였다. 일반 영재학생과 다르게 소외계층 영재 학생은 경제적, 문화적, 지리적 어려움을 겪고 있으므로 다각적인 지원이 필요하다. 하지만 선행 연구에서는 소외계층의 중학생을 대상으로 한 교육 프로그램 개발연구가 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 소외계층 중학생을 위한 온라인 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 교육 프로그램은 총 20차시이며, 2015 개정 교육과정의 과학, 수학, 정보 교과의 교육 내용을 기반으로 주제를 추출하였다. 추출한 주제를 기반으로 기초-심화로 이루어진 온라인 교육 콘텐츠를 개발하였으며, 교과별 역량 개발을 위하여 탐구 과제를 구성하였다. 향후 연구에서는 본 연구에서 개발한 교육 프로그램을 소외계층 학생을 대상으로 운영하고, 프로그램의 만족도와 개선 방향을 도출하고자 한다. 또한, 교육 프로그램의 교육적 효과를 알아보기 위하여 사전, 사후 검사를 통하여 학생들의 변화를 관찰하고자 한다.

This study intends to portray the everyday lives of the urban poor in Busan metro area, especially in terms of the information perspective. Employing basic qualitative data collection tools such as interviews and participant observation, the study attempts to illustrate such phenomena as information needs and behaviors, and to scrutinize the reasons of particular behaviors in information seeking and gathering. This paper, specifically, focuses on the following characteristics of information need and information-related behavior of the urban poor; types of everyday concerns and ways to cope with such concerns; types of the help providers; characteristics of information channels of everyday information seeking and information gathering. The role that interpersonal sources play in their everyday lives, has been emphasized in reality of their information environment along with information needs and information related behaviors including information gathering and information seeking.

사회적 소외계층이 증가함에 따라 무연고 사망자가 늘어나는 사례가 늘고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 자체 제작한 웨어러블 디바이스를 활용하여 무연고 소외계층의 건강을 관찰 및 응급상황을 대처하고 고독사를 방지하는 서비스를 제안한다. 제안한 웨어러블 디바이스는 사용자가 착용 시 심장 박동, 온도, 습도의 생명 정보를 측정 및 저장하고, 저장된 데이터와 움직임을 감지할 PIR 센서의 움직임 데이터 값을 비교하여 응급 상황을 보여준다. 이를 위해서 사용자 용 웨어러블 디바이스, DB 관리서버 및 웹 페이지를 구축하였다.

방송의 디지털화에 따른 비장애인 대비 소외 계층의 정보 접근성의 부족은 소외 계층에 대한 정보 격차를 심화시킬 수 있다. 이에 캐릭터 수화 방송, 자막 방송 등 장애인을 위한 방송 서비스의 양적, 질적 개선에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 자막 방송 서비스의 경우, 관련 법령에 따라 서비스를 실시하고 있으며 지상파 UHD 방송의 경우에도 본 방송을 시작한 이래 폐쇄 자막 서비스 시스템을 구축하여 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이러한 기존 자막 서비스는 텍스트 형태의 단조로운 내용 전달 방식이어서 다양한 스타일로 풍부하게 내용을 전달하는 것에 대한 요구가 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 지상파 UHD 방송을 대상으로 개선된 형태의 자막 서비스인 감성자막 서비스를 소개하고 이를 위한 감성 자막 편집기 기술 개발에 대하여 다룬다. 감성자막 서비스는 화자의 감정 정보를 자막 메타데이터에 추가적으로 제공하여, 감정에 따라 다양한 이모티콘이나 다른 종류의 폰트 스타일로 자막 서비스가 가능하게 하는 서비스이다. 감성자막 편집기는 이러한 감성 자막 메타데이터를 추가, 편집하고 감성자막 파일로 생성하기 위한 시스템으로, 지상파 UHD 송출 시스템 및 폐쇄 자막 표준을 고려하여 개발하였다.

금융 소외 계층은 여전히 보이스피싱과 같은 금융 범죄의 위험에 직면하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 위험을 완화하기 위해 모바일 애플리케이션을 통한 보이스피싱 예방을 강화하고자 한다. 이를 위해 AI 기술을 적용하여 데이터를 추출, 학습 및 분석하는 혁신적인 보안 기술을 개발하고자 한다. 이러한 기술의 적용을 통해 금융 소외 계층을 더 효과적으로 보호하고 금융범죄로부터 보안을 강화하는데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.
