Because intelligent and organized cyber attack, It is difficult to respond to cyber threats with only a small number of information security experts. Accordingly, information security department compared to 2013 it increased by 17%. But there was a problem that cannot train appropriate students for companies. This research examined the Workforce Framework and Knowledge Units for improving this situation. Based on this, educational department in cyber security major was selected to be learning at the university. And it proposed a plan for a managing course to operate. And the result will be utilized as fundamental research of human resources medium- and long-term demand and supply planning in cyber security department.

This paper is about a study on human resource management for information security in the age of information warfare. this study reviewed the current status of human security resource forces for information warfare and derived problems of current practices of various organizations. Based on the analysis of the current practices the author suggested several ideas for solving the problems various. The suggestions include 1) establishment of security manpower concept, 2) set-up of manpower requirement, ideas, 3) establishment of systematic educational system, 4) standardization, etc.

As the number of recent information security incident occurrence increases, more and more workload and liability pressure are given to info-security professionals, which results in decrease of morale level of working groups in the field. In order to solve this problem, Korean government is providing various action plans to improve the morale level of info-security professionals, and also requiring financial companies to submit its own action plan of increasing morale of info-security professionals to Financial Service Agency. For this study, based on the previous studies and relevant professionals' interviews, we selected 16 critical morale increase variables, and performed survey for empirical analysis. As a result, 3 features; role, system, and relationship were presented as the main factor of morale increasement of info-security professionals. This study also suggests a decision making method of utilizing the developed morale measurement model for individual organizations.

There is a limitation on counteracting recent cyber-attacks with only technical security measures because they become more intelligent and large-scale to aim at employees instead of systems directly or to be conducted with unspecified multiple PCs. Thus, comprehensive measures revolved around related manpower are necessary to deal with them. However, domestic information security education system which is the base of professional manpower training lacks medium-and long-term plans for information security education, verification of education programs, and information sharing among educational institutions. This paper suggests information security education development plans for resolving problems on domestic education systems and improving cyber information security environment such as a national information security education master plan, certification system introduction of education programs, and professional manpower database management.

The Cyberspace of the Republic of Korea Army is continuously threatened by enemies. Means for responding to such cyber threats are ultimately Military information security professional personnel. Currently, however, there are only a handful of advanced information security professional persons in Republic of Korea Army, and a lack of systematic training is inadequate. Therefore, in this thesis, we surveyed the information security professional human resource policies of USA, UK, Israel, and Japan. In addition, the policy to train professional human resources specialized in defense cyber security, we proposed training of specialist talent of 4 steps and medium and long term plan, step-by-step training system sizing, introduction of certification system.

정보보호 인증기술 연구센터는 초경량 저비용의 인증 원천 기술 개발, 통합 인증 시스템 개발, 정보가전 네트워크에서의 인증기술 개발 등 정보보호를 위한 인증기술을 개발하기 위하여 연구 개발을 진행해왔다. 또한, 공통평가기준(CC, Common criteria) 및 CMVP(Cryptographic module verification program)와 같은 보안성 평가에 관한 많은 연구 및 과제수행을 진행하였다. 특히 본 연구센터는 대학기관 중 국내 최초로 정보보호제품에 대한 CC인증 자문을 수행하였으며, 센터에 소속된 연구원들이 대학원생 최초로 수습 평가자 자격증을 취득하였다. 또한 2008년에는 지문인식 시스템 보호프로파일, 개방형 스마트카드 플랫폼 보호파일 등 총 6종의 보호프로파일을 개발하였다. 마지막으로 센터는 우수한 정보보호인력 양성을 목표로 다양한 지원 및 제도를 운영하였다. 그 결과 다수의 우수 연구논문 발표, 국내외 특허 출원 및 등록, 기술이전 및 우수인력 배출 등 당초 목표 이상의 실적으로 달성하였다. 향후 정보보호 인증기술 연구센터는 지금까지 구축된 인증기술 및 보안기술과 산학협력 네트워크 등을 기반으로 우리나라가 인증기술 및 정보보호 산업의 강국으로 자리잡는데 지속적으로 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

최근 인터넷 등의 급속한 보급 및 상용화에 따라 인터넷을 통한 다양한 정보서비스가 널리 이루어지고 있다. 이것은 컴퓨터와 네트워크에 의한 결합으로 구성하여 이루어지고 있는데, 이러한 상황에서 해킹 등의 정보화의 역기능으로부터 정보를 어떤 형태로 보호할 것인가의 문제가 사회적으로나 국가적 차원에서 급속도로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 시대적 요구에 부응하기 위해 현재 정보보호분야에 대한 인력을 체계적으로 양성하기 위한 각종 대책이 정부나 교육기관에서 수립되어지고 있다. 정부는 이미 정보보호기술개발 5개년 계획을 수립하여 현재 각종 사업과 프로젝트를 진행하고 있으며, 또한 국내 전국의 여러 대학에서도 이러한 국내외 흐름을 감지하여 정보보호분야와 관련된 학과(전공)의 설립 등을 통해 체계적인 인력양성방안을 수립 추진하고 있다. 실제로 대학의 정보보호분야에 대한 교육목표설정, 교재개발, 교육과정의 설계, 실험 실습실의 구축과 교원확보 등 많은 부분에 대한 준비를 시작하고 있는데, 현실적으로 대부분의 대학들이 학부과정에서 지도해야 할 부분은 정보를 보호하기 위한 기술습득에 필요한 기초지식일것으로 사료된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이와 관련하여 전국 4년제 주요 대학에 신 증설된 정보보호 관련학과의 현황과 교육과정을 살펴보고 분석하여 향후 교육과정모델과 교육방향에 대해 고찰하고자 한다.

2003년 1월 25일 전국에 몰아닥친 인터넷 마비사태는 '인터넷 강국'으로 자부해온 우리가 얼마나 정보보호에 취약한가를 여지없이 보여준 사건이었다. 이 사건은 또 정보보호 산업의 중요성을 새삼 일깨운 계기로도 작용했다. '정보사회의 방위산업', 'IT산업의 성장엔진'으로 불리는 정보보호 산업은 전략적\ulcorner경제적 중요성이 갈수록 커지고 있다. 사이버 위협이 지속적으로 지능화\ulcorner고도화함에 따라 정보보호 인력 수요가 증대하고 있으나 공급은 이에 미치지 못해 2003년에서 2007년 사이 약 22,000명 이상의 수급 불균형(공급부족)이 예상된다. 이러한 불균형 해소를 위하여 대학, 민간교육기관, 정부기관 등에서 정보보호 인력양성에 힘쓰고 있다. 본 논문에서는 정보보호 기술경쟁력 향상과 정보보호 인식제고를 주안점으로 하는 단기 교육과정에 대해 살펴본다.

The spreading of internet, combined with the computerization of industry and the life whole has created an incereased demand on the private life protection and information portection, but due to the lack of specialty manpower on the information protection industry field there are many difficulties. Therefore, in this paper a curriculum for an information protection specialty manpower training is proposed. The proposed curriculum indispensability 1,2 and classified with a selection 1,2 and classified with a selection 1,2. The information protection application field into 9 segments of domains, and to carry out the curriculum in a ring structure. The curriculum based on the information security field's 9 domains and related field practical business, and the course offered after graduation to deepen the specialty, need to be carried out by each domain in order to continuously carry out the information security deepening process.

In the recent field, cybersecuriyt has become one of the critical areas in the information technology field, and demands for cyberseucirty professionals have been increasing tremendously. However, there is In the recent past, cybersecurity has become one of the critical areas in the Information Technology (IT) field, and demands for cybersecurity professionals have been increasing tremendously. However, there is a shortfall in the qualified cybersecurity workforce which is a factor that contributes to the vulnerability of society to various cyber threats. Our study articulates a model to explain career selection behavior in the cybersecurity field. The study explored factors that affect scholars' behavioral intention to pursue a cybersecurity career. Positive outcome expectations from a cybersecurity career as well as high self-efficacy about skills and knowledge about cybersecurity have a strong impact on the scholars' cybersecurity career decisions. Further, perceived usefulness of the cybersecurity curriculum has a positive effect on the scholars' career decisions. The results of this research have implications for retaining a qualified workforce in the computer and information security fields.
