A Qualitative Study on Prospective Librarians' Library Practicum Experiences: Applying Giorgi's Descriptive Phenomenological Method (예비사서들의 도서관실습 교육경험에 대한 질적 연구 - Giorgi의 기술적 현상학 방법을 적용하여 -)

  • The purpose of the study is to examine prospective librarians' library practicum experiences by using Giorgi's descriptive phenomenological method. To achieve the purpose of the study, the study conducted in-depth interviews with the participants of the library practicum in the department of library and information science at the A university. Following Giorgi's four ways of phenomenological description, the study analyzed the collected data from in-depth interviews with the participants. Prospective librarians' library practicum experiences were able to analyze as five significant themes and seventeen sub-categories of the themes. The five main themes are as followings: 'formulating perception of libraries and librarians', 'formulating career design through self-development and challenges', 'growth and challenges in preparing the library practicum', 'growth and challenges in the middle of library practicum' and 'experiences after the library practicum and the evaluation.' On the basis of the findings, the study suggested alternative programs of library practicum and the directions for performing the programs effectively and efficiently.

  • 본 논문에서는 정보영재교육을 위한 문제해결력 증진과 논리적 사고력 신장을 위해 프로그래밍의 개념을 효과적으로 이해시키는 도구로써 교육용 로봇의 이용을 제안하였다. 그리고 개정된 정보통신기술교육 운영지침에 맞추어 초등학교 교육현장에서 교사들이 프로그래밍 교육을 실시할 수 있도록 교육방법의 개선에 기여하고자한 학기 10주 동안의 과정으로 교육모형을 설계하여 제시함으로써 로봇을 이용한 프로그래밍 교육을 통하여 초등학생의 논리적 사고력을 신장시키고자 하였다.

The research is necessary in about development and production of the world process educational robot which equips a duplex link structure. Development it produces the world process educational insect robot which equips a link structure from the present paper. The present paper research it leads and early rising department of pedagogy originality education of the national talented man leads and will contribute in the national competitive power improvement which a national education development and the robot renovation of the nation leads.

  • To prevent problems such as portrait rights, copyright, and cyber violence, an ethics education STEAM projects using deepfake apps using AI technology were developed and applied. The Deepfake apps were screened, and the contents of the elementary school curriculum were reconstructed. The STEAM project as creative experiential activities was mainly operated by the UCC activities, and applied the info-ethics awareness measurement test based on the planned behavior theory. The social STEAM project as money (financial) education was qualitatively analyzed. It was found that this STEAM classes using AI technology app significantly enhances the ethical awareness of information communication.

  • In the knowledge-based society, ICT should take an integral part in K-12 curriculum. The purpose of this paper was to investigate the means to integrate ICT into K-12 curriculum. For the purpose, we reviewed the current national curriculum in light of ICT use. From the review, we identified that the recently revised 7th national curriculum reflected the necessity of using ICT in the view point of knowledge-based society, but it did not include the ICT specifically as a critical element of the curriculum. We discussed the meaning of ICT integrated curriculum, and also the role of ICT as a component of the curriculum. Finally, we suggested the direction of restructuring the curriculum as we consider integrating ICT into it.

  • Nowadays due to the development of IT, hacking has become a major issue and importance of information system security is rapidly increasing. This research focuses on problems of training system security experts within Korea by analysing university's management information system curriculum and proposes an alternative way to solve this problem. The result of this research is the following. First, reformation of university's curriculum for successfully training system security experts is crucial. Second, theories that was learned in university courses need to be coherent to the actual work that the system security experts do in the field. Lastly, advanced IT countries like the US and Japan have already made standards on training system auditors and reinforced it with laws. Therefore Korea should establish a formal standard system like the other IT industry advanced countries.

  • 정보와 지식의 활용이 무엇보다 중요하게 여겨지는 정보화 사회에서 정보소양은 산업사회의 문자해득력만큼이나 중요하게 인식되고 있다. 또한 정보 기술만으로는 정보 사회에서 발생하는 문제에 대해 효과적으로 대처하고 적응하기 어렵다. 이와 관련하여 본 연구에서는 최근 외국에서 활발히 진행되어 온 정보소양교육에 초점을 두어 실제로 정보소양 학습 효과가 대학생들의 문제해결과정에 미치는 영향과 효용을 검증함으로써 차후 대학에서의 정보소양 교육 도입에 대한 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • By combining the elements of the game or game in education, it improves the interest of the students and improves academic achievement by creating an environment where they can participate directly. We propose a curriculum that can learn the core principles of the elementary curriculum through fusion. The proposed curriculum helps students to understand the principles of the elementary curriculum by learning the artificial intelligence method in board game form. Learning methods that incorporate such elements of the game will enable learners to learn the principles of IT so that they can develop their ability to understand objects from various perspectives and enhance their thinking skills. It is expected that the elementary artificial intelligence curriculum that incorporates the proposed gamification will contribute to the development of the information science curriculum, which has been highlighted recently from the 2015 curriculum.

Analysis of Computer Scientific Attitude of Information Gifted Students in the University of Science Education Institute for Gifted (대학교부설 과학영재교육원의 정보영재 학생들의 컴퓨터 과학적 태도 분석)

  • There are 27 science education institutes for gifted education institutes in the university with support from the MSIT (Ministry of Science and ICT). Mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, earth sciences, and information classes are given in each science education institute for the gifted. The authors developed a curriculum with components of computing thinking for information-gifted students. To determine if the curriculum is effective on the computer scientific attitude of the information gifted, TOSRA was modified and the test was then developed. Information students were educated at K university's science education institute for the gifted with the developed curriculum for one year and the computer scientific attitude of them was tested. According to the test results, there was a significant difference in the computer scientific attitude of the curriculum conducted at the institute at 0.05 level of significance. Statistically significant differences were observed in the social implications of computer science, attitudes of computer scientific inquiry, and the normality of computer technicians at the level of significance of 0.05. On the other hand, there were no significant differences in the adoption of computer scientific attitudes, the enjoyment of computer science lessons, leisure interest in computer science, and career interest in computer science.
