작업장 뿐만 아니라 일상생활에서도 결코 무시될 수 없는 것이 레져활동으로 인한 소음이다. 최근 급격히 늘어가는 개인 휴대용 카세트(Personal Cassette Players: PCP)사용은 심각한 소음성난청 발생이 우려된다. 본 연구는 PCP사용에 관련된 여러 인자들이 청력손실과 어떻게 얼마나 관련이 있는가를 파악 하고 PCP를 일정시간 사용했을 때 오는 청력 손실을 정량적으로 파악, 분석하는데 근본 목적을 둔다. 정상 청력을 가진 피실험자 18명의 대학생들을 대상으로 정상 청취조건 그리고 배경소음(지하철)에 노출 중과 후의 사용환경과 소음원으로 Hard Music, Soft Music 및 Language/News를 고려하여 평균소음도와 최고 소음도를 측정하였다. 또한 현실적 상황을 고려한 2시간 정도의 PCP의 청취 전과 후의 청력변화를 측정하였다. 통계 분석 결과, 사용환경과 소음원에 대해 휴대용 카세트 청취 소음수준이 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 특히 Hard Music 청취시에는 95dB, 그리고 지하철 소음하에서는 92dB의 높은 (위험한) 청취수 준을 보였다. 최고소음수준의 경우 NIOSH기준을 초과하는 117dB 정도의 매우 위험한 수준까지 나타났다. 또한 2 시간 정도의 PCP소음에 노출 전 후의 청력손실이 주파수 대역에 걸쳐 유의하게 나타났으며, 특히, 가장 민감한 주파수 대역인 4000Hz에서 최고 7dB 정도의 청력 손실이 발생하였다. 본 연구 결과에 따라, PCP사용에 대한 청력보호대책안을 제시하고자 한다.

몇 년 전 국내 한 매체에 김성진 전 결핵연구원장의 중국에서의 활약상이 소개된 적이 있다. 아니 활약상 정도가 아니라 중국에서 김 전 원장은 유명인사다. 중국의 매체들은 "중국을 감동시킨 한국 의사", "한국에서 온 노먼 베쑨"이라 칭하며 그를 앞 다투어 소개했다. 2008년에는 "칭다오를 감동시킨 10대 인물"로 선정되기도 했다. 한때 결핵연구원장으로 우리나라 결핵퇴치사업에 큰 몫을 했던 분이 중국에서 그렇게 멋진 일을 하고 계셨다는 점이 자랑스럽고, 반가운 마음이랄까? 국내에 들어오시면 꼭 한 번 인터뷰를 요청 드리리라 생각했는데 드디어 그런 기회를 만들 수 있게 됐다. 2000년부터 2009년까지 중국에서의 10년, 그 생생한 이야기를 들어보았다.

본 연구에서는 강원도 속초시 쌍천에 위치한 쌍천지하댐이 지하수흐름에 미치는 영향을 범용 지하수 흐름해석 프로그램인 MODFLOW를 사용하여 검토하였다. 먼저 지하댐이 설치되기 전인 초기 정상류 상태를 모의하여 수두 분포를 확인하였으며, 그 후 지하댐 설치 전의 정상류 상태를 수위를 초기 수두로 하여 지하댐이 설치된 후의 대수층의 지하수위 변화를 모의하였다. 모의 결과 대수층에 지하댐을 설치하면 지하댐을 설치하기 전에 비하여 지하수위가 약 0.4m 정도 상승하는 것으로 나타났다.

심근섬유증은 심장에서 전도 장애를 일으키며 심부전증상을 발생시킨다. 심근섬유증으로 인한 심장박동현상의 변화를 확인하기 위해 시뮬레이션 연구를 진행하였다. 심실의 유한요소 모델을 설계하고 무작위로 전도 블록을 생성하여 심근섬유증을 적용하고 그 비율을 조절하였다. 심근섬유증의 비율에 따라 전기생리학적 시뮬레이션을 진행하고 그 결과를 바탕으로 기계 수축 시뮬레이션을 진행하여 심실의 수축 변화를 확인하였다. 심근섬유증의 비율이 증가할수록 좌심실의 압력이 감소하고 박출되는 혈액량과 박출계수, 심장박동의 효율이 감소하였다.

This paper is to examine philosophy of Jurye(周禮, national rituals) described on GyeongJeMunGam and GyeongJeMunGamByeolJip. As it is widely known, Sambong Jeong Do-Jeon (三峯 鄭道傳), regardless of evaluation by posterity, is definitely a figure who established 500 years of Joseon with almost everything handled by his own hands from presenting founding principle of Joseon to organizing the bureaucratic system. In the third year of King Taejo (1394) with Jurye as an ideological model for social innovation, Jeong Do-Jeon wrote Joseongyeonggukjeon and offered it to the king. Joseongyeonggukjeon is a sort of guide for new codes written by Jeong Do-Jeon as a part of defining culture and institutions of the new dynasty, which is based on Confucianism, the ruling idea of the new dynasty. GyeongJeMunGam supplements the section ChiJeon(治典: Articles for Governing) of JoSeonGyeongGukJeon(the first constitution of Joseon Dynasty) mainly to specify the duties and jobs of the prime minister; and also the duties and jobs of the highest secretaries of the kings, and provincial and county governors, whereas GyeongJeMunGamByeolJip consists of the section GunDo specifying the duties and jobs of the kings and the section Euiron additionally explaining about the kings' duties and jobs in the viewpoint of the philosophy of the Book of Change. That is, GyeongJeMunGam finely describes not only the changes, advantages and disadvantages of prime minister system of every dynasty of China and Korea but also the prime minister's duties/jobs and attitude for kings; and it also specifies the duties and jobs of the kings' highest secretaries, guards, provincial and county governors; on the other hand, GyeongJeMunGamByeolJip says that the king should play the symbolic figure setting their mind in right ways and train themselves with virtue through the idea of GunJuSuShin (君主修身: ) to point out a good and capable prime minister and make him govern the country without using their power fully.

This study investigated changes in the physicochemical characteristics and coffee flavors of coffee beans under different roasting conditions. Four different kinds of roasted coffees were analyzed using a headspace gas chromatographic technique. The moisture content and total acidity of roasted coffee decreased whereas the pH and weight loss (%) increased, as coffee beans were roasted at higher temperatures. The Hunter's color values of the roasted coffee (indicating L (lightness) and b (yellowness)) decreased as the roasting temperature of the coffee beans increased, but a (redness) value only increased with light roasting. We also noted that the color of the Arabica coffee was darker than that of the Robusta coffee. The aroma compounds, acetaldehyde, acetone, 2-methylfuran, 2-methylbutanol, 2-methylpyrazine, furfural, 2-propanone, furfuryl alcohol, 2,5-dimethylpyrazine and furfuryl acetate were mainly analyzed. A sensory evaluation of all light-roasted coffees had flavor and sourness and those of all medium-roasted coffees had heaviness and finishness.

각상별로 다수의 단심 케이블을 병렬로 사용할경우 부하전류의 분배가 동일하지 않으므로 전류가 많이 흐르는 케이블이 과열되니 심한 경우는 설계값의 30%이상 부하를 걸 수 없는 정도도 발생하였다.

Purpose : The voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG) is the investigation of choice in detecting the vesicoureteral reflux in urinary tract infections in children. As it is a potentially distressing and invasive test, most of the parents are so concerned about the child's stress. In this study, we compared the difference of the state of anxiety of parents before and after the VCUG. Methods : We divided 68 parents whose children underwent VCUG into 2 groups; who have given an explanation about VCUG in detail using pictures (group 1) Vs. who have given an oral explanation only (group 2). All the parents submitted the same questionnaire 2 times before and after the VCUG, which consisted of State-Trait-Anxiety-Inventory X-I (STAI-X-I) and visual analog scale (VAS) on the perception of worry, anxiety, confusion and pain. Results : Before VCUG, the perception of pain was higher in group 1 (P<0.05). After VCUG, the anxiety and confusion were significantly higher in group 2 than group 1 (P<0.05). In group 1, STAI-X-I scores, the perception of worry and anxiety were significantly decreased after the VCUG (P<0.05). In group 2, the confusion and pain were increased after VCUG (P<0.05). Conclusion : It showed that doctor's explanation on the procedure in advance may raise the perception of pain and the possibility of refusal by parents. But the STAI-X-I, worry, anxiety after VCUG were significantly decreased in group 1, while the confusion and pain were increased in group 2. Therefore we suggest that prior and sufficient explanation about invasive procedure like VCUG can be helpful in ameliorating the anxiety of the parents.
