  • 전기전자 장치 내부의 PCB에 존재하는 전력공급/접지판은 RF 공진잡음을 발생시켜 디지틀 신호 품질 저하 및 불요방사의 문제를 일으킨다. 본 논문에서는, 전력공급/접지판의 RF 잡음을 제거하기 위한 방법으로 Mush-room EBG 구조를 사용할 때 이 구조가 가지는 전자기 및 전기적 특성을 모드해석법과 회로이론의 하이브리드화를 통해 예측을 수행한다. 예측을 통해 잡음을 억제할 수 있는 유용한 정보를 얻는다.

A Study on SAR Attenuation by Using Loop-type Ground for Mobile Handsets (루프 형태의 접지판을 이용한 휴대폰의 SAR 감쇄에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we investigated SAR(Specific Absorption Rate) value variation by the position and size of the loop-type ground located in a test mobile handset. We carried out simulations on SAR value with loop-type grounds in rear case of a mobile handset, and obtained results showed that different positions and sizes of loop-type grounds had different SAR values. Among investigated positions and sizes of loop-type grounds, the small size case-C showed the best performance; i.e., it showed a decrease efficiency of 8.70 %. And in this case, it showed the highest induced electric-field distribution in the loop-type ground. In the simulation, the folding angle was set to $160^{\circ}$.

  • The extent of a rectangular conducting plane for measuring electromagnetic interference is discussed. Mutual coupling between the transmit and receive antennas is negligible, the effects of the ground plane on the normalized site attenuation(NSA) are considered by applying GTD(Geometric theory of diffraction). The calculation was done for the case that measuring distance(d) was 3 m for both horizontal and vertical polarizations. As the result, the size of the rectangular ground plane almost never affects upon NSA for horizontal polarization, but for vertical case, when both width and length of the rectangular plane are several times as long as distance, the effects of the edges are reduced under 1 dB.

  • This paper presents the antenna factor characteristics of a calculable dipole antenna with a hybrid balun, installed above ground plane vertically and horizontally, using Method of Moments (MoM). An expression for the antenna factor is formulated using the concept of power mismatch loss. The input impedance and effective length of the antenna, which are in the formula of the antenna factor, are calculated using the MoM. The results show that the antenna factors above a ground plane are agreed with the free space antenna factors within ± 0.14 dB. The horizontal antenna factors are varied more by 0.2 dB than the vertical antenna factors.

동판접지전극과 동선접지전극사용에 대한 기술적 및 경제적 비교

  • 현재 우리나라에서 사용하고 있는 접지전극은 30*30$cm^{2}$의 넓이와 0.7,0.9,1.0,2.0mm의 동판전극들이다. 인건비가 비싸고 전극 자료비가 우리나라에 비하여 싼 외국에서는 접지봉을 많이 사용하고 있다. 접지봉을 사용하면 인건비는 적게들지만 매설하기 위한 기계의 시설비와 같은 접지저항치를 얻기 위한 동량이 판전극 사용시보다 더욱 많이 필요하므로 우리나라 현사정에는 부적당하다. 본 연구의 목적은 소요접지저항을 얻는데 동판전극보다 더욱 경제적인 접지방식을 모색하여 이것과 동판전극방식과의 기술적, 경제적비교검토를 하는데 있다.

Evaluation of Static Behaviour of Orthotropic Steel Deck Considering the Loading Patterns (하중재하 패턴을 고려한 강바닥판의 정적거동 평가)

  • The deck of steel box girder bridges is composed of deck plate, longitudinal rib, and transverse ribs. The orthotropic steel decks have high possibility to fatigue damage due to numbers of welded connection part, the heavy contact loadings, and the increase of repeated loadings. Generally, the local stress by the repeated loadings of heavy vehicles causes the orthotropic steel deck bridge to fatigue cracks. The increase of traffic volume and heavy vehicle loadings are promoted the possibility of fatigue cracks. Thus, it is important to exactly evaluate the structural behavior of bridge considering the contact loading area of heavy vehicles and real load patterns of heavy trucks which have effects on the bridge. This study estimated the effect of contact area of design loads and real traffic vehicles through the finite element analysis considering the real loading conditions. The finite element analysis carried out 4 cases of loading patterns in the orthotropic steel deck bridge. Also, analysis estimated the influence of contact area of real truck loadings by the existence of diaphragm plate. The result of finite element analysis indicated that single tire loadings of real trucks occurred higher local stress than one of design loadings, and especially the deck plate got the most influence by the single tire loading. It was found that the diaphragm attachment at joint part of longitudinal ribs and transverse ribs had no effects on the improvement of structural performance against fatigue resistance in elastic analysis.

  • In general, small antenna is located with several devices in the mobile handsets. But these devices are a bad influence to characteristics of antenna. This paper deals with the loss characteristics of small loop antenna near the several devices in the small handset. Especially, we analyzed effect of ground plane and condensers that use matching circuit. Result of analysis, condenser near feed point of antenna to have much effect on radiation efficiency.

A Study of QMSA Characteristics According to the Gap Variance between Ground Plane and Radiation Patch (접지판과 방사 패치 사이의 간격 변화에 따른 QMSA의 특성 연구)

  • In this paper, we designed and fabricated QMSA(Quarter-Wavelength Microstrip Antenna) for 850MHz band on the CGP-500 PTFE substrate(by CHUKOH company) with ε/sub r/=2.6, H=1.6mm(±0.08), where width of the radiation patch is .identical with that of the ground plane. A well matched feed point was obtained by experiments and this QMSA was fed by using prove feed method. The resonant frequencies and the return losses were mcasured by cutting the gap L₃ between the radiation patch and the ground plane, with a 5mm cutting length, step by step. As a result, we found that the measured return losses were decreased and the resonant frequencies were increased when the gap L₃ was shorter, especially under 10mm, unlike we had expected.

Estimation of Slab Response of Plate Girder Bridge in Traffic-Induced Vibration by Three-Dimensional Analysis (삼차원 해석에 의한 강합성교 바닥판의 교통유발진동 응답 평가)

  • Recently, it is frequently reported that fatigue damages of deck slabs and floor systems of highway bridges occur under the conditions of increasing weight and traffic of heavy vehicles. These troubles are affected by dynamic wheel load of heavy vehicles running on roadway surface roughness with bump at expansion joint. It is required that this kind of traffic-induced vibration of highway bridges must be analyzed by using three-dimensional models of bridge and vehicle. In this study, the three-dimensional dynamic analysis is carried out, and dynamic responses of deck slab and wheel loads of moving vehicle are estimated according to different vehicle speeds and bump heights. Analytical responses of bridge deck slab are compared with experimental ones which were measured at Umeda entrance bridge of Hanshin Expressway in Osaka.

The Effect of Finite Flange of Open-Ended Coaxial Probe on the Converted Complex Permittivity of PCB Substrate (개방 단말 동축선 프로브의 유한한 접지판이 PCB 기판의 복소 유전율 환산에 미치는 영향)

  • To construct its complex permittivity from the reflection coefficient of a thin film such as PCB substrate measured by open-ended coaxial probe, an integral equation is formulated using modal analysis and equivalent source. The accuracy of the conversion model based on the integral equation is confirmed in both cases of converted complex permittivities calculated from numerically computed and actually measured reflection coefficients. And the maximum valid frequency of open-ended coaxial probe is limited by the size of its flange.
