Implementation Planning for Information Technology-Based Future Mail Acceptance System (정보기술 기반의 미래형 우편접수창구 구축계획 수립)

  • In this paper, we set up an implementation plan for the Mail Acceptance System (MAS) to be operated more effectively and intelligently. First of all, an as-is analysis for the current MAS is performed for analyzing issues and problems and obtaining user requirements. After the as-is analysis, we perform benchmarking studies on the various postal service providers of the advanced countries. Based on the results from the as-is analysis and benchmarking study, we design a conceptual model for the future MAS. The proposed conceptual model can be classified into three parts: automatic MAS, business MAS, and integrated MAS. Information and automation technologies are applied to design the proposed model for eliminating inefficiencies and inaccuracies in MAS. We identify implementation tasks for realizing the proposed MAS model, evaluate the importance and precedence relationship of the identified tasks for deciding implementation priorities, and finally set up the implementation plan for the future MAS. We can expect that the more efficient and effective MAS can be constructed in the future by performing the proposed implementation plan.

  • 대학 입시 업무에서 원서 접수방식에 있어서 원서 접수를 하기 위해 학교에 직접 방문하여 접수하거나 각 지역 접수 창구와 팩스를 통해 원서를 접수하는데 이를 유기적으로 통합하여 관리할 수 있는 인터넷 원서 접수 환경이 최근 각광을 받고 있다. 그러나, 각 대학의 입시 업무 성격, 특정 학과 선발 과정 등의 충분한 자료 검증이 수행되지 않은 인터넷 원서 접수는 수험생에게 혼란과 복잡성을 유발할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 수험생에게 소신 지원 및 안정 지원을 위해 적합한 학과를 추천하여 수험생들의 인터넷 원서 접수를 하는데, 충분한 자료를 통해 적합한 학과를 추천해주는 지능형 진학 상담 에이전트 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • This study found that there are problems in sending mails at the postal service reception desks and proposes a system which transmits address information to POSNET(the terminals at post office reception) without the use of an additional security system based on address information which is stored in the terminals of mobile phones. The system proposed transforms the information of users into two-dimensional barcode(QR code) of the POSNET and a number of address information is texturized and transmitted to the POSNET with the use of how to read QR code and LAN such as bluetooth. When the system proposed is connected to the postal reception system, it can create and output mail addresses for mobile computers automatically and contribute to better performance for the post office reception clerks and better economic results.

  • Cyber education fields have been changed a lot with the internee development. One of them is the field of consultation for university admission. As for the business of university admission, there were two ways applicants handed in their applications directly to school which they applied to and to each place to receive applications or sent them through FAX. Recently, highlighted is the internee environment to receive the application for admission which integrated organically the two ways. This paper aims to design and implement a multi-consulting-agent system having intelligence which helps applicants make their right applications for colleges or universities through internet system after guiding a proper department to them.

  • 아직 봄을 시샘하는 겨울의 마지막 바람이 불던 지난 3월 21일 동수원 우체국에서는 접수한 고객들이 창구가 아닌 임시로 마련된 건강체험 데스크에 줄을 서 있었다. 한국건강관리협회가 우정사업본부와 함께 우체국 방문 고객 및 상주직원을 대상으로 올바른 건강관리에 대한 홍보와 간단한 건강체험 서비스를 제공하기 때문이다. 이 행사는 지난해 이어 올해 두 번째 열린 것이다.

  • The Internet is widely used by general people and the use of Internet is spread to all industrial fields. Especially, cyber education fields have been changed a lot with the Internet application development. One of them is the field of consultation for university admission. As for the business of university admission, there were two ways applicants handed in their applications directly to school which they applied to and to each place to receive applications or sent them through FAX. Recently, highlighted is the Internet environment to receive the application for admission which integrated organically the two ways. In this thesis, I designed and implemented on-line admission consulting system using of multi-agent. The examines can apply for safely and according to their conviction by recommending the university course suitable for their academic aptitude and scores with test KSAT(Scholastic Aptitude Test Administered by the Korean Ministry) and a university grade report on students' record using intelligent multi-agents and through a university course recommending wizard in the process of choosing it.

  • 슈퍼컴퓨팅센터는 현재 Cray T3E, NEC SX-5, Compaq SMP, IBM p690 등의 시스템을 보유하고 있으며, 1년 평균 600구좌 이상의 슈퍼컴퓨팅 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이에 따라 사용자의 기본 시스템 사용법, 프로그램 컴파일, 디버깅 및 상용 프로그램 사용 관련 질의가 하루 평균 수십 건씩 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 사용자 상담 창구의 일원화 및 효율화를 위해 이미 HelpDesk를 운영하여 사용자 질의를 진화, 웹 게시판, 메일 등을 통하여 접수받아 처리하고 있다. 하지만, 이와 같은 방식은 같은 질의가 빈번할 경우 담당자가 동일한 질의 해결에 많은 시간을 소비하게 한다. 이러한 슈퍼컴퓨터 사용 시 발생하는 문제를 체계적으로 상담하기 위해 각 사용자 질의를 티켓(Ticket)이라는 한 개의 이벤트로 표시하고, 이러한 티켓에 의거 문제를 해결하기 위해 여러 관련 담당자 상호간에 협력할 수 있도록 사이버 HelpDesk 시스템을 구현함으로써 사용자에게 신뢰성 있는 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 하였다.

  • Impact forces are acting on the fore part of a body entering water and those are function o the shape of the fore part and entrance angle. In this paper, impact forces are computed for the flat faced body with arbitrary entrance angle The geometric characteristics of the wetted surface of the body are complicated. The surface is divided into several smooth parts and each of them is represented by a bi-cubic B-spline. The free surface condition, $\phi=0$, is applied at the undisturbed free surface and he boundary value problem is analized by using Green's function.

  • This study examined the influence and meaning of SNS as the hot topic of our time from the archival perspective and also studied the 'SNS records management'. The many users mean a high accessibility and utilization of SNS, which increase the influence and value of SNS as a record. Politically, SNS is a tool that strengthens the communication among the voters, politicians and the public while economically, it is a window to accept the complaints of the customers and a marketing tool. In addition, the voices of social minorities are also recorded unlike in the traditional media, which makes the SNS record a method to gain the social variety and diversity. SNS is a place of formation of collective memory and collective memory itself. Furthermore, it can play the role of public sphere. It also is a place for generation of 'big data' in an archival sense. In addition, this study has classified the SNS records management into primary and secondary management that include record management entities, subjects, periods, methods, and causes. This study analyzed the history, status, and the meaning of SNS to assess the values and meanings as the preliminary study for the future SNS record management studies.
