Analysis of Relationship between Housing Tenure and Birth in Newlywed Couples by Using Panel Data (패널자료를 이용한 신혼가구의 주택점유형태와 출산 관계 연구)

  • In this study, we investigate the interrelationship between housing tenure and childbirth by exploiting the correlation probability effect method that accounts for household heterogeneity. Using the newlywed household panel from 2011 to 2022, we find that home ownership has a positive impact on childbirth in newlyweds. Specifically, newlywed households with housing tenure show a 6.2%p higher birth rate and a 5.7%p higher second childbirth than newlywed households living in rented houses. For the case of first childbirth, we employ the probability effect probit model since the endogeneity was not detected between housing tenure and birth rate. We document the differential effects of housing tenure on childbirth in that the first childbirth rate is higher for households without housing tenures. The negative effects on first childbirth could be attributed to the economic burden due to initial housing ownership, while housing tenure could eventually provide housing stability, leading to positive effects on more than one childbirth. Finally, we identify that households with childbirth over the last year show a 4.2%p and 3.9%p lower probabilities of housing tenure in the total sample and second childbirth sample, respectively. This suggests that the increased living cost due to childbirth could delay home ownership.

  • MIV(MPEG Immersive Video)의 시험모델 TMIV 는 다시점의 비디오와 깊이(depth) 비디오를 입력 받아 시점 사이의 중복성을 제거한 후 남은 텍스처(texture)와 깊이로 텍스처 아틀라스(atlas)와 깊이 아틀라스를 각각 생성하고 이를 압축한다. 각 화소별 점유(occupancy) 정보는 깊이 아틀라스에 포함되어 압축되는데 압축 손실로 인한 점유맵 오류를 방지하기 위하여 임계값 T = 64 로 설정한 보호대역을 사용한다. 기존에 설정된 임계값을 낮추어 깊이 동적범위를 확대하면 보다 정확한 깊이값 표현으로 부호화 효율을 개선할 수 있지만 보호대역 축소로 점유맵 오류가 증가한다. 본 논문에서는 TMIV 의 부호화기와 보호화기에 비대칭 임계값을 사용하여 보호대역 축소로 인한 점유맵 오류를 보정하면서 보다 정확한 깊이 값 표현을 통하여 부호화 효율을 개선하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안기법은 깊이 동적범위 확대와 비대칭 임계값 기반의 점유맵 오류 보정을 통하여 CG 시퀀스에서 2.2% BD-rate 이득과 주관적 화질 개선을 보인다.

  • Runway and taxiway is base facilities for aircraft take off and landing and runway capacity is one of major factor for airport capacity. Runway occupancy time is affect on the runway capacity. The identification of aircraft using taxiway by analysis of airport ground surveillance data and the measurement of pass time on the points is general method for the confirmation of the runway occupancy time. This study is runway occupancy time analysis of landing airplane using ADS-B message, in this study we surveyed landing aircraft runway occupancy time and analysis of serviced record using taxiway include rapid exit taxiway. The result of analysis is to confirm the different of landing direction and aircraft category on the same runway caused by structure of airport. Also the result of runway occupancy time analyzed data, it is base input data for the air transportation simulation.

The Effect of Parental Financial Support and Housing Loan on Newlyweds' Housing Tenure (부모의 경제적 지원과 주택자금대출이 신혼부부의 주택점유형태에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to empirically analyze the factors that influence newlyweds' housing tenure. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted among newlyweds living nationwide who had been married for 5 years or less and were under the age of 40. The results of the survey were empirically analyzed by applying various variables. With regard to parental financial support among the factors influencing newlyweds' housing tenure, the analysis results showed that the probability of owner occupancy was high among the households with parental financial support than among those with none, and the larger the size of the parental financial support was, the higher the probability that the newlyweds owned the house they were occupying. As for the housing loan variable, it was found that the probability of owner occupancy was high among the newlyweds with a housing loan than among those with none, and the larger the amount of the newlyweds' housing loan was, the higher the probability that they owned the house they were occupying. As opposed to what is generally recognized, however, the survey showed that the higher the ratio of dual earners is, the lower the owner occupancy probability due to the probability of job transition, etc. In addition, it was found that the probability of owner occupancy for the newlyweds living in Seoul was lower than that for the newlyweds living in other regions in South Korea. Accordingly, this study showed that appropriate levels of parental economic indicators should also be reflected in the stable housing support and loan policies for newlyweds in the context that the succession to their parents' fortunes is generalized.

Progressive occupancy network for 3D reconstruction (3차원 형상 복원을 위한 점진적 점유 예측 네트워크)

  • 3D reconstruction means that reconstructing the 3D shape of the object in an image and a video. We proposed a progressive occupancy network architecture that can recover not only the overall shape of the object but also the local details. Unlike the original occupancy network, which uses a feature vector embedding information of the whole image, we extract and utilize the different levels of image features depending on the receptive field size. We also propose a novel network architecture that applies the image features sequentially to the decoder blocks in the decoder and improves the quality of the reconstructed 3D shape progressively. In addition, we design a novel decoder block structure that combines the different levels of image features properly and uses them for updating the input point feature. We trained our progressive occupancy network with ShapeNet. We compare its representation power with two prior methods, including prior occupancy network(ONet) and the recent work(DISN) that used different levels of image features like ours. From the perspective of evaluation metrics, our network shows better performance than ONet for all the metrics, and it achieved a little better or a compatible score with DISN. For visualization results, we found that our method successfully reconstructs the local details that ONet misses. Also, compare with DISN that fails to reconstruct the thin parts or occluded parts of the object, our progressive occupancy network successfully catches the parts. These results validate the usefulness of the proposed network architecture.

A Technique for Building Occupancy Maps Using Stereo Depth Information and Its Application (스테레오 깊이 정보를 이용한 점유맵 구축 기법과 응용)

  • An occupancy map is a representation methodology describing the region occupied by objects in 3D space, which can be utilized for autonomous navigation and object recognition. In this paper, we describe a technique for building an occupancy map using depth data extracted from stereo images. In addition, some techniques are proposed for utilizing the occupancy map for the segmentation of object regions. After the geometric information on the ground plane is extracted from a disparity image, the occupancy map is constructed by projecting each matched point to the ground plane-based 3D space. We explain techniques for extracting moving object regions using the occupancy map and present experimental results using real stereo images.

  • Mathematics students must appropriate their mathematical knowledge which has the definition and theorem of mathematics, algorithm, reasonable thought, heuristic, and mathematics language, and so on. That is, students should construct, use, and apply their own knowledge during learning. Appropriation of mathematical knowledge is practicable when mathematics language is in charge of many functions that Vygotsky cited. To reach the potential development level with mathematics language, students need the zones that they interact themselves and peers, as well as teacher. On that ground, this study presented the interactional zones of IZPD, ZPP, and ZAD, and modeled mathematics learning. By the case of 2 students, we found that ZPP and ZAD were necessary and important.

  • 몰입형 비디오 부호화를 위한 MIV(MPEG Immersive Video) 표준은 제한된 3D 공간의 다양한 위치의 뷰(view)들을 효율적으로 압축하여 사용자에게 임의의 위치 및 방향에 대한 6 자유도(6DoF)의 몰입감을 제공한다. MIV 의 참조 소프트웨어인 TMIV(Test Model for Immersive Video)에서는 복수의 뷰 간 중복되는 영역을 제거하여 전송할 화소수를 줄이기 때문에 복호화기에서 렌더링(rendering)을 위해서 각 화소의 점유(occupancy) 정보도 전송되어야 한다. TMIV 는 점유맵을 깊이(depth) 아틀라스(atlas)에 포함하여 압축 전송하고, 부호화 오류로 인한 점유 정보 손실을 방지하기 위해 깊이값 표현을 위한 동적 범위의 일부를 보호대역(guard band)으로 할당한다. 이 보호대역을 줄여서 더 넓은 깊이값의 동적 범위를 사용하면 렌더링 화질을 개선시킬 수 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 현재 TMIV 의 점유 정보 오류 분석을 바탕으로 이를 보정하는 기법을 제시하고, 깊이 동적 범위 확장에 따른 부호화 성능을 분석한다. 제안기법은 기존의 TMIV 와 비교하여 평균 1.3%의 BD-rate 성능 향상을 보여준다.

  • 기존의 여러 동적 추천 시스템에서는 웹 페이지들 사이의 유사도와 로그 파일 안에들어 있는 사용자들의 패턴을 이용하였기 때문에 연관된 페이지 뿐 아니라 단순히 순차적으로 연결되는 문서를 추천 페이지로 제공할 수 있었다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 방식에 각 페이지가 점유하는 시간의 분석을 더하려 한다. Data를 여러 분야로 나눌 수 있는 전자상거래의 특성을 이용하여 개개의 클러스터로 분류된 사이트들의 로그파일을 분석하여 점유시간의 크기와 무의미하게 보내어 지는 시간을 가중치를 주어 구별해내는 결과를 바탕으로 사용자가 주로 방문하는 연관성이 높다고 판단되는 웹 페이지를 추천하는 방법을 제안한다.

A Study on Estimating Level-of-Service for Pedestrian Facilities (보행자 시설 서비스 수준 산정에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 보행자 시설 중 계단과 대기공간에 대해 공학적으로 합리적인 분석방법을 제공하고 이를 통해 안전하고 편리한 보행시설의 제공을 도모하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 계단과 대기공간에 대한 외국의 조사방법과 분석방법을 참조, 비교하여 서비스 수준 결정기준을 정하고 용량 값을 산출하여 우리나라 현실에 맞는 적정한 설계기준을 산출하기 위해 노력하였다. 계단의 경우 효과척도로 보행 교통량을 그리고 대기공간에 있어서는 1인당 점유면적을 사용하였다. 현장 조사 결과 계단에서의 보행량은 보행자가 군을 형성했을 경우와 그렇지 않은 경우 최대 보행량에 차이가 나는 것을 고려하여 보행자 군의 형성 여부에 따라 서비스 수준의 기준을 다르게 제시하였으며, 대기공간의 경우에는 1인당 점유면적을 한국인의 평균체형을 기준으로 하여 서비스 수준의 기준을 제시하였다. 계단과 대기공간에 있어서 이러한 조사와 분석을 통해 산출된 결과는 외국의 경우와 다른 값을 나타내는데, 계단에 있어서는 실질적으로 이용할 수 있는 유효계단 폭에 따라 최대 보행 교통량의 타이가 크게 나타났으며, 대기공간의 경우에는 한사람이 점유 할 수 있는 용량상태에서의 공간이 0.2$m^2$/인으로 외국의 경우보다 적게 나타난다.
