In this study, we estimate the effect of ability grouping on mathematics achievement empirically. We use propensity score matching(PSM) method to minimize selection bias and estimate the effect of ability grouping on the mathematics standard score of Scholastic Ability Test with the KELS(Korea Education Longitudinal Study) 6th stage data. The result indicated that relationship between ability grouping and mathematics achievement is positive and Policy efforts is needed to operate ability grouping effectively.

인도네시아의 Citarum 유역을 대상으로 구축된 RRFS를 이용하여 해당유역의 상류에 위치한 다목적 댐인 Saguling 댐에 대한 2005년 월 유입량예측을 수행하여 보았다. 실제 예측과정에는 ESP 기법을 적용하였고 여기에 기상전망을 고려할 수 있는 사전처리기법인 PDF ratio 방법을 이용하여 유출량 시나리오의 발생확률을 갱신하였다. 이를 위하여 대상유역의 월 강우량 관측 자료에 대한 초보예측을 통하여 2005년 관측 강우량에 따라 기상전망을 생성하였다. 또한 Saguling 댐의 월 유입량 과거 관측자료에 대한 초보예측을 통하여 High Flow, Normal Flow, Low Flow에 대한 예측구간을 구성하여 보았다. Fig. 1과 Fig. 2는 각각 ESP 기법과 PDF ratio 방법을 이용하여 산정한 Normal Flow와 Low Flow의 상한계 유입량의 발생확률의 변화를 도시한 것이다. 관측 유입량이 발생한 구간의 예측확률을 기반으로 예측점수를 산정해 본 결과 ESP 기법에 의한 예측점수가 0.333을 상회하고 있음을 볼 수 있었다. 이는 ESP 기법에 의한 예측결과가 초보예측보다 정확도가 높음을 의미하는 것으로 본 연구에서 구성한 ESP 시스템의 적용성을 확인할 수 있다. 또한 고무적인 결과로서 PDF ratio 방법에 의한 예측점수가 ESP 기법에 의한 예측점수를 상회하고 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 이는 ESP 기법에 의한 예측결과를 확률기상전망을 이용하여 갱신할 경우 예측 정확도를 개선시킬 수 있음을 의미하는 것이다.

Based on the problem of 'Tatanic - Machine Learning from Disaster', a representative competition of Kaggle that presents challenges related to data science and solves them, we want to see how data preprocessing and model construction affect prediction accuracy and score. We compare and analyze the features by selecting seven top-ranked solutions with high scores, except when using redundant models or ensemble techniques. It was confirmed that most of the pretreatment has unique and differentiated characteristics, and although the pretreatment process was almost the same, there were differences in scores depending on the type of model. The comparative analysis study in this paper is expected to help participants in the kaggle competition and data science beginners by understanding the characteristics and analysis flow of the preprocessing methods of the top score participants.

환자와 주변인들에게 다양한 문제를 야기하는 치매와 조현병 진단을 위한 모델을 제안한다. 치매와 조현병 진단을 위해 프로토콜에 따라 녹음한 의사와 내담자 음성 시료를 전사 작업하여 분류 태스크를 수행하였다. 사전 학습한 언어 모델의 MLM Head를 이용해 분류 태스크를 수행하는 Prompt 기반의 분류 모델을 제안하였다. 또한 많은 수의 데이터 수를 확보하기 어려운 의료 분야에 효율적인 Few-Shot 학습 방식을 이용하였다. CLS 토큰을 미세조정하는 일반적 학습 방식의 Baseline과 비교해 Full-Shot 실험에서 7개 태스크 중 1개 태스크에서 macro, micro-F1 점수 모두 향상되었고, 3개 태스크에서 하나의 F1 점수만 향샹된 것을 확인 하였다. 반면, Few-Shot 실험에서는 7개 태스크 중 2개 태스크에서 macro, micro-F1 점수가 모두 향상되었고, 2개 태스크에서 하나의 F1 점수만 향상되었다.

The decision makers of IT projects are faced to situations to choose a best development method between inhouse development and solution purchase when companies must develop a new system or enhance the existed system. For those decision makers related to the IT projects, this study provides them with meaningful results through the ISBSG project repositary, how each development method, such as a development inhouse, a solution purchased, a combined method, impact the function point, which is a critical factor to measure the required time, efforts, cost of IT project development.

최근 GPT-3 와 LLaMa 같은 생성형 거대 언어모델을 활용한 서비스가 공개되었고, 실제로 많은 사람들이 사용하고 있다. 해당 모델들은 사용자들의 다양한 질문에 대해 유창한 답변을 한다는 이유로 주목받고 있다. 하지만 LLMs 의 답변에는 종종 Inconsistent content 와 non-factual statement 가 존재하며, 이는 사용자들로 하여금 잘못된 정보의 전파 등의 문제를 야기할 수 있다. 이에 논문에서는 동일한 질문에 대한 LLM 의 답변 샘플과 외부 지식을 활용한 Hallucination Detection 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 동일한 질문에 대한 LLM 의 답변들을 이용해 일관성 점수(Consistency score)를 계산한다. 거기에 외부 지식을 이용한 사실검증을 통해 사실성 점수(Factuality score)를 계산한다. 계산된 일관성 점수와 사실성 점수를 활용하여 문장 수준의 Hallucination Detection 을 가능하게 했다. 실험에는 GPT-3 를 이용하여 WikiBio dataset 에 있는 인물에 대한 passage 를 생성한 데이터셋을 사용하였으며, 우리는 해당 방법을 통해 문장 수준에서의 Hallucination Detection 성능이 baseline 보다 AUC-PR scores 에서 향상됨을 보였다.

본 연구의 목적은 최근 증가하고 있는 고령 인구를 위해 여러 가지 요인을 고려하여 노인만을 대상으로 하는 여가 만족도를 산출하는 것이다. 노인의 여가 만족도에 영향을 주는 요인으로 '여가시설', '노인 인구', '노인 건강', '노인 소득'을 산정하였다. 해당 요인들에 가중치를 분배하여 산정하기 위한 방법으로 PCA와 선형회귀를 사용하였다. 위 과정을 통해 제작된 노인 여가 만족도 지표에 인자값을 투입하여 자치구별로 노인 여가 만족도 점수를 산출하였고, 스코어 카드를 통해 현황을 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 산출된 각 자치구별 여가 만족도 점수와 인자에 해당하는 점수를 파악하여, 여가만족도가 낮은 지역들의 취약 분야를 파악하고 취약 분야를 중점으로 여가 만족도를 개선해나갈 것을 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 키넥트 센서 기반으로 하는 동작 인식 애플리케이션을 설계하고 구현 한다. 이 애플리케이션은 본인이 응원하는 특정 연예인의 영상을 보고, 응원하는 동작을 하면 점수를 취득하게 되고, 누적되는 점수에 따라 그 연예인에 대한 기여도를 알 수 있도록 구현한다. 프레임별 조인트 움직임의 차이를 구하여 사용자의 움직임에 따른 점수를 부여하는 기능을 구현한다. 또한 전체 랭킹 시스템을 통해 동일한 연예인을 응원하는 사용자들이 공동의 소속감을 가지고, 더 나아가 자신들이 응원하는 연예인의 순위를 올리기 위한 경쟁을 유도하는 기능을 구현한다. 점수가 누적되면 단계별로 추가적인 애니메이션을 제공하여 흥미있게 볼 수 있는 기능도 구현한다.

During pregnancy, the woman experiences physical and psycho-social changes. Such changes and other factors may become stress for the pregnant woman, making it difficult to maintain healthy and happy pregnant period. In this study, we identify factors for the stress, marital intimacy, family support, and fatigue, in order to provide the foundation for developing intervention programs and improve the quality of nursing. The subjects of there search were 185 pregnant women. Stress had a negative correlation with marital intimacy and family support, and positive correlation with fatigue. Family support, fatigue, adjustment to change due to pregnant, and breastfeeding experience were the influencing factors on the stress of pregnant women. A stress management program for pregnant women needs to be designed to help them with their physical and psychological adjustments. The program will be more effective when accompanied by the family support.

In this paper, we propose a new cardiac disorder classification method using an support vector machine (SVM) to combine hidden Markov model (HMM) and murmur existence information. Using cepstral features and the HMM Viterbi algorithm, we segment input heart sound signals into HMM states for each cardiac disorder model and compute log-likelihood (score) for every state in the model. To exploit the temporal position characteristics of murmur signals, we divide the input signals into two subbands and compute murmur probability of every subband of each frame, and obtain the murmur score for each state by using the state segmentation information obtained from the Viterbi algorithm. With an input vector containing the HMM state scores and the murmur scores for all cardiac disorder models, SVM finally decides the cardiac disorder category. In cardiac disorder classification experimental results, the proposed method shows the relatively improvement rate of 20.4 % compared to the HMM-based classifier with the conventional cepstral features.
