As internet telephony services based on Session initiation Protocol (SIP) enter the spotlight as marketable technology, many products based on SIPs have been developed and utilized for home and office telephony services. The call connection of an internet phone is classified into specific call connections and group call connections. Group call connections have a forking function which delivers the message to all of the group members. This function requires excessive message control for a call connection and creates heavy traffic in the network. In the internet cail system model. most of the call-setup messages are directed to the proxy server during a short time period. This heavy message load brings an unwanted delay in message processing and. as a result, call setup can not be made. To solve the delay problem, we simplified the analysis of the call-setup message in the proxy server, and processed the forking function distributed for the group call-setup message. In this thesis, a new system model to minimize the load is proposed and the subsequent implementation of this model demonstrates the performance improvement.

본 논문에서는 인터넷텔레포니 인터페이스(Internet Telphone Interface)를 제작하고 자체 개발된 PC-to-PC 방식의 인터넷 전화 소프트웨어인 Realphone을 이용하여 Phone-to-PC 방식의 인터넷 전화를 구현하였다. 실험을 위하여 인터넷텔레포니 인터페이스를 제작하였으며, 펜티엄 PC 2대와 일반 상용화 되어있는 전화기를 사용하였다. 통화는 목원대학교 학내전화와 목원대학교내 LAN으로 연결된 PC사이에 로컬(Local)상황과 국내 교육망으로 연결된 목원대학교와 서울대학교 사이에 트래픽이 서로 다른 새벽(Unload), 오전(Mid-load), 오후(Load)에 이루어졌다. 실험을 통하여 대형 게이트웨이의 도움없이 간단한 인터페이스만으로 Phone-to-PC 방식 인터넷전화의 통화가 가능함을 확인하였다.

The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is one of the major protocols used in call-setup over IP telephony. The SIP-signaled calls use many-sided states according to a request of user. In this paper, we suggest seven states and some events that help developers to design and implement new applications efficiently. And they enable an object-oriented design of the system. If you design the call-setup procedure only by the processing model suggested in RFC 3261 over commercial network, a fatal error may occur in the system because of heavy data traffic or unpredicted exception cases. However, according to the suggested seven states, if they are predefined events in the current system state, the standardized processing routine is executed. Otherwise, they can be processed by the exception routine in system. All event processing routines are designed and implemented using Finite State Machine (FSM).

본 연구에서는 인터넷전화의 잠재 가입자를 대상으로 이들의 전화 사용 행태 및 사회-인구 통계적 특성 검토하여 이를 인터넷전화의 가입 확률로 연결하는 모형을 개발한다. 이때 가입 예측모형은 설문결과에 이산 프로빗 모형을 적용함으로써 구축하였다. 모형의 결과에 따르면 인터넷전화서비스 가입에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수는 월 전화요금, 월 전화사용회수, 채택하고 있는 전화요금제, 현재 가입 중인 전화회사, 가구 의사결정자의 나이 등인 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 위의 각 요인의 부호는 관련 분야의 전문가들의 일반적인 견해 및 상식과 일치하는 것으로 나타났다.

통신처리시스템(Communication Processing System)은 전화망과 ISDN 가입자들에게 전국 규모의 PC 통신 및 인터넷 액세스를 가능하게 하기 위한 망정합 장치이며, 동시에 통신처리 서비스를 제공하는 시스템이다. 본 논문에서 기술하고자 하는 통신처리시스템 전화망 정합장치는 120 채널 규모의 용량으로 설계되었으며, 전화망과는 텐덤교환기 레벌과 4개의 El 트렁크 접속방식으로 연결되며 R2 MFC 방식을 사용한다. 접속된 가입자 회선은 ITU-T V.90 규격에 따르는 모뎀풀을 사용하여 정합되며 이 정보들은 역다중화된 후 서비스된다. 이 정보들은 데이터 처리 블록, 입출력 기능 블록, 사용자 명령어 처리 블록, 서비스처리 블록에 의해 복수의 서비스 제공자 망에 접속된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 통신처리시스템에 연결되는 전화망 가입자들에게 효과적으로 데이터 통신 서비스를 제공하기 위한 전화망 정합장치(TNAS; Telephony Network Access Subsystem)의 기능과 구조, 설계 및 구현 내용에 대해 기술한다.

Nowadays, Internet Telephony Services based on SIP are gaining an explosive increase for general user. Thus a various demands of the user about convenience of IP-PBX are growing. The most important requirements of these is hybrid IP telephony system which is connected not only internet telephone but also general PSTN telephone. Therefore, in this paper, we have developed Hybrid IP-PBX connected all type of telephony terminals for small office. We have developed FXS module for connecting all type and FXO for using PSTN telephone number also. This Hybrid IP-PBX that is can be connected Soft-phone provide various optional services. We measured voice quality and test simultaneous calling for proof of validity.

Mobile communications is argued to reshape and activate the existing space by increasing 'mobile communicability en route' and 'real time interaction.' This study is designed to make an empirical analysis on how different the use of a cellular phone is in each different space. In this study, the space is divided into three distinct parts including the private, social and public space. First, spatial micro-coordination and experience of polysemy of place are widely observed in the use of a mobile phone in the private space. Secondly, it is found that a mobile phone contributes to extending the scope of social contacts which in turn compliments the existing social relationship. Moreover, a full-time intimate community that is connected via a mobile phone results in reshaping the social space. Lastly, the study shows that the usage pattern of a mobile phone varies depending on the type of public space. The technological development is envisaged to lead to more demand for the public space while facilitating the use of the public space.
