  • RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) is appearing by point technology by Ubiquitous environment of new paradigm and Logistics' application. But, RFID chip of this is high price and short bandwidth, low power and interference etc. can become technological problem. This is getting into obstacle in common use. Reader and tag, Embedded software etc.. that is accomplishing standardization is imported paying most expensive Royalty. This paper is RFID cognition system that use PDA in Ubiquitous environment to apply to Logistics system. RFID cognition system processes input/output of fundamental information attaching tag to Logistics of products. And RFID cognition system supports quick and correct and safe synthetic Logistics managerial system through construction of database. This can prove minimization and customer service of Logistics expense. RFID cognition system is advantage that can widen range of application to area that cognition system of existent fixing style can not do. Also, It can expect economical effect through inexpensive system construction.

  • In this paper, we present the design, functions and performance analysis of the virtual machine (VM) based on the Lua interpreter for On-Board Control Procedure Execution Environment (OEE). The development of the OEE has been required in order to operate the lunar explorer mission autonomously which is planned by Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) autonomously. The concept of On-Board Control Procedure (OBCP) is already being applied to the deep space missions with a long propagation delay and a limited data transmission capacity since it ensure he autonomy of the mission without the ground intervention. The interpreter is the execution engine in the VM and it interpreters high-level programming codes line by line and executes the VM instructions. So the execution speed is very more slower than that of natively compiled codes. In order to overcome it, we design and implement OEE using register-based Lua interpreter for execution engine in OEE. We present experimental results on a range of additional hardware configurations such as usages of cache and floating point unit. We expect those to utilized to the OBCP scheduling policy and the system with Lua interpreter.

A Study on the Compensation Algorithm based on Error Rate Offset of Distance Measurement (거리측정의 오차비율 오프셋을 적용한 보정알고리즘 연구)

  • It is confirmed that as the distance measurements accuracy of the SDS-TWR(Symmetric Double-Sided Two-Way Ranging) based on CSS(Chirp Spread Spectrum) is considerably degraded due to frequency interference and it causes to severe errors in the localization applications. In this paper, the compensation algorithm based on error rate offset of distance measurement ($CA_d$) is proposed for the purpose to reduce the ranging errors due to by the SDS-TWR ranging problems. The $CA_d$ measures the distance values between two nodes by means of 1m interval about 1~25m distances in the SDS-TWR, and compensates the distance values using the parameters related to the distance compensation. From the experiments, it is analyzed that the $CA_d$. have reduced the distance error to average 95cm and maximum 526cm, and the distance error by the $CA_d$ was below about 60cm in the 25m distances. In particular, the performance of the distance measurements accuracy by the $CA_d$ is very high in LOS(Line Of Sight) environments.

  • Mesh WLANs, which consist of wireless mesh routers connecting each other in a mesh topology and self-operate after their autoconfiguration, have several advantages in convenience, swiftness and flexibility of deployment and operation over existing WLANs the expansions of which are done by connecting the APs with wires. However, many technical issues still remain to be solved. Among them, network performance degradations due to the interference between the adjacent hops in multi-hop mesh WLANs, and the reusability of the existing wireless network protocols are critical problems to be answered. This work evaluates the VoIP support performance of IEEE 802.11a/g-based mesh WLANs with multiple wireless interfaces with simulations. The results show that there exit an unfairness in VoIP packet delay performances among mobile routers located at different hops, and that although the capacity of the admitted calls can be increased by increasing the size of voice packet payload it is far less than the expected one. This suggests that the existing 802.11 MAC protocols have their limitation when applied in mesh networks and their enhancement or even a newer one nay be required.

  • 홍수완화의 관점에서 강을 관리하기 위하여 수자원의 이용과 생태계보전, 하천흐름과 형태학적 변화들에 대하여 충분히 이해하고 합리적으로 설명하는 것이 필요하다. 최근에 수변지역에서 발달된 식생은 홍수시에 감속영역과 생물들의 피난처를 제공하는 것 이외에 횡단방향의 혼합작용을 활성화하여 유사와 식물의 씨앗 및 입자성 유기물(POM)을 포착하는 기능을 하고 특히 흐름과 유사이송 및 하도 지형변화에 큰 영향을 주기 때문에 중요하다. 입자성 유기물(POM)은 하천생태계를 지탱하는 에너지원으로서 다양한 형태로 존재하고 미생물의 분해를 받아 무기화된 식생의 번무와 물질순환의 시발점이 되기도 하지만 현재까지 식생영역 내에서 그 공급과정에 관련이 있는 운동기구에 관한 연구는 아직 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 식생영역의 유사퇴적 및 분급작용, 입자성 유기물의 포착을 일으키는 원인과 흐름의 특징 중 식생영역 내에서 흐름방향으로 감속에 주목하여 수리 모형실험을 실시하였고 수변식생에서 부유사와 POM의 퇴적과정에 대하여 검토 및 모델링을 실시하였다. 수리 모형실험 결과 CPOM과 FPOM 모두 유사의 퇴적없이 그 자체로는 퇴적이 되지 않았고 수변식생의 종방향 이송의 경우 식생에 의해 퇴적된 부유사가 사련 형태로 형성이 되어 CPOM이 사련의 배후에서 캡쳐 되었다. 또한 두가지 샘플 움직임의 상호작용은 사련의 파고와 파장의 전파속도를 감소시켰다. 식생지역에서 횡방향 분산의 경우에 대해서는 각각의 유사 크기에 대한 퇴적물의 능선은 식생의 경계를 따라 형성되었고 운동의 범위는 유사 퇴적의 능선에 의해 촉진되어 횡방향으로 확산하며 확장되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 제한된 경험적인 지식보다 오히려 실험을 통하여 식생을 동반하는 장소에서 유사와 POM의 거동특성 차이 및 간섭작용을 명확히 한 후 현장에서 관측된 현상과 비교 검증이 필요하다고 사료되며 추후에 운동기구를 모델링 및 업그레이드 해 나가는 것이 앞으로의 하천생태계 예측평가에 필요하다고 판단된다.

  • Maritime back-up navigation system in port approach requires a horizontal accuracy of 10 meters in IALA (International Association of Lighthouse Authorities) recommendations. eLoran which is a best back-up navigation system that satisfies accuracy requirement has poor navigation performance depending signal environments. Especially, noise caused by multipath and electronic devices around eLoran antenna affects navigation performance. In this paper, Ship based Navigation Back-up system using UAV on Interference is designed to satisfy horizontal accuracy requirement. To improve the eLoran signal environment, UAVs are equipped with camera, IMU sensor and eLoran antenna and receivers. This proposed system is designed to receive eLoran signal through UAV-based receiver and control UAV's position and attitude within Landmark around area. The ship-based positioning using eLoran signal, vision and attitude information received from UAV satisfy resilient and robust navigation requirements.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of run-up height over sandy beach due to the shape of submerged breakwater. For the discussion on it in detail, 3-Dimensional numerical model with Large Eddy Simulation, which is able to simulate directly interaction of Wave Structure Sandy beach (hereafter, LES-WASS-3D; Hur and Lee, 2007) has been used to simulate run-up height over sandy beach as well as wave field around submerged breakwaters. Using the results obtained from numerical simulation, the effects of the shape of submerged breakwaters (crown height, crown width, crown length and submerged breakwater's slope gradient) on run-up height over sandy beach have been discussed related to the wave height distribution and characteristics of up-layer flow around ones.

  • In this present study, we made a first attempt to investigate physical transformations of incident waves in surf and swash zone and hydrodynamic phenomena of detached and submerged breakwaters. For an accurate simulation of the complicated wave deformation, Three-Dimensional numerical model with Large Eddy Simulation has been developed recently and expanded properly for the current applications, which is able to simulate an accurate and direct WAve Structure Sandy seabed interaction (hereafter, LES-WASS-3D). LES-WASS-3D has been validated through the comparison with experimental results for limited cases, and has been used for the simulation of wave run-up on sandy beach, mean fluid flows over and around submerged structures and swash zone (alongshore/rip current), and spatial distribution of wave height in wide fluid regions. In addition, a strategy of efficient deployment ($Y/L_i=1.50{\sim}1.75$, $W/L_r=0.50$) of the submerged breakwaters has been discussed.

항구 입출항용 항법 요구성능을 위한 우리나라 R-Mode 항법시스템의 테스트베드 개발 현황

  • 우리나라 R-Mode(Ranging Mode) 항법시스템은 국제해사기구(IMO, International Maritime Organization)에서 요구하는 항구 입출항용 항법 요구성능(정밀도 10m)을 만족하도록 개발을 진행하고 있다. R-Mode 항법시스템은 위성국 송출을 기반으로 하는 GPS와 달리 지상국 송출을 기반으로 한다. 또한 신호가 세기가 높아서 의도적 전파간섭이 어려우므로 국제해사기구가 요구하는 강인한 PNT(Resilient PNT) 시스템에 적합한 것으로 평가받고 있다. 이러한 요구조건과 기회신호(SoOp, Signal of Opportunity)의 국내 환경에 맞추어 중파(MF, Middle Frequency) 및 초단파(VHF, Very High Frequency)를 이용하는 항법시스템을 개발하고 있다. 해양수산부의 지원으로 2020년에 착수하여 4국의 중파 R-Mode 송신국과 3국의 초단파 VDES R-Mode 송신국 구축을 진행하고 있다. 항법 성능을 확보하기 위하여 R-Mode 보정시스템과 R-Mode 감시시스템을 구축하였다. 해양에서 R-Mode 항법시스템의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 중파 R-Mode 수신기, VDES R-Mode 수신기 및 이를 포함하는 통합항법수신기를 함께 개발하고 있다. 항법 송신기 및 수신기의 성능 검증을 위한 테스트베드는 기존의 지상파 항법(eLoran) 서비스 영역, 중파 R-Mode 서비스 영역 및 주요 항만 등을 고려하여 충청남도 서산시 대산항 지역으로 선정하였다. 보정국 및 감시국을 포함하는 테스트베드 기지국은 대산항에 설치하여 운영을 시작하였다. 테스트베드 실해역 시험을 통한 성능 검증은 2023년 상반기에 진행될 계획이다.

Research on Antennas Placement of Line-of-sight Datalink for Transport Drone (수송드론 가시선 데이터링크 안테나 배치 방안 연구)

  • The antenna radiation pattern was simulated by arranging the mounted antennae of the transport drone in 5 locations where radio interference was expected to be low, and they could be mounted. Depending on the mounting location, the probability that the link margin was less than 0 dB was (5.41 - 26.92) %. When two antennae were mounted and one was selected, the probability was (0.11 - 3.3) %. Among the arrangements, placing one antenna in the upper part of the front and one in the lower part of the rear showed the lowest link fail probability. In this case, it was analyzed that if the attitude roll and pitch of the aircraft were limited, link fail would not occur at an operating distance of 12 km or less. An antenna selection formula for this case was derived, and a method of reducing frequent alternation of antennae was applied to maintain a stable link.
