  • 본 논문에서는 테이블 탑 디스플레이 기반 증강현실을 이용한 전통문화 콘텐츠 제작에 대하여 기술한다. 멀티 터치가 가능한 지능형 인터페이스 플랫폼인 테이블 탑 디스플레이를 기반으로 동시의 여러 사용자가 시스템을 조작 할 수 있다. 테이블 탑 디스플레이는 새로운 형태의 컴퓨터시스템으로 디스플레이가 되는 동시에 별도의 디바이스나 콘솔을 필요로 하지 않고 터치로 입력이 가능한 상호작용 시스템이다. 이러한 테이블 탑 디스플레이 위에 구동되는 콘텐츠는 역사적인 유물을 사진으로 보여주면서 역사적인 의미를 설명하고 있다. 그리고 여기에 게임적인 요소를 가미하여 어린이들이 즐겁게 게임을 하면서 우리나라 전통문화 체험을 할 수 있는 시스템이다.

A study on the implementation of Korea's traditional pagoda WebXR service

  • This study focuses on enhancing the understanding of the form and characteristics of traditional towers, or 'pagodas,' by utilizing WebXR technology to enable users to explore 3D models and experience them in virtual reality on the web. Traditional towers in Korea pose challenges for direct on-site verification due to their size, making it difficult to examine the structure and features of each level. To address these issues, this research aims to provide users with a WebXR service that allows them to remotely explore and analyze towers without geographical or temporal constraints. The research methodology involves utilizing WebAR to offer a web-based service where users can directly view the original form of the tower's 3D model using smart devices both online and on-site. However, outdoor conditions may affect performance, and to address this, a tower-outline detection and matching technique was employed. Consequently, we propose a remote support service for traditional towers, allowing users to remotely access information and features of various towers nationwide on the web. Meanwhile, on-site visits can involve experiencing augmented reality representations of towers using smart devices.

증류탑의 제어 시스템 설계

  • 본 논문에서는 증류탑 제어 구조의 선택과 선택된 조작변수를 이용한 조성제어 전략에 대하여 고찰해 보았다. 제어구조 설계시 증류탑의 양끝에서 물질 수지와 에너지 수지제어를 조합해 주는 두 파라미터에 의해, 예상되어지는 제어구조를 동적 구조 변환 기법을 사용하여 쉽게 분석할 수 있으며, Combined balance 방법으로부터 시작하여, 증류탑에 대한 3가지의 새로운 방법을 소개하였다. 제어구조를 결정하는데 ITAE와 같은 닫힌 루프 성능지표에 기초한 최적 combined balance 구조는 multiloop dual 조성 제어에 대해 다른 구조보다 뛰어난 성능을 보이고 있다. 이 방법은 새로운 증류탑의 제어구조를 설계할 때나, 기존의 증류탑 성능을 향상시키는 데에 사용할 수 있다. 이상과 같이 제어구조가 결정된 후 사용할 수 있는 여러 가지 제어전략을 소개하였다. 제어전략의 선택은 사용자의 목적에 따라 적절한 것을 선택하면 되는데, 대부분의 경우는 적당한 제어구조를 Combined balance 구조로서 결정하게 되면 간단한 형태의 전통적 제어기를 사용해도 무방하며 제어구조의 선택이 선행되지 않으면 MPC와 같은 고급 제어전략을 사용하여 상호작용 등에 의하여 생기는 문제를 해결하는 것이 바람직하다.

Traditional Cooking Edutainment Contents based on the Tabletop Display Interface (테이블탑 디스플레이 인터페이스를 활용한 전통 요리 에듀테인먼트 콘텐츠)

  • Tabletop display can take the benefits of the interactive device due to its possible user friendly input and display facilities simultaneously. Using this device, immersive edutainment content is effectively implemented with the convenient interactive interface. So considering this usefulness, tabletop display can be a very efficient device for constructing the edutainment system. In this paper, we describe a digitalized cooking edutainment contents based on the tabletop display interface. Enjoying our contents, we use the intuitive touch gestures for handling a variety of cooking actions. In the education effects such as the immersive strengthening and co-operation, the proposed system is more efficient interface than any other existing system. We implement the contents with the tabletop display and make sure about the efficiency of our proposed system. In the future, we will add more gestures to enhance the applicability of the intuitive interactive interface.

Design of Naphtha Cracker Gas Splitter Process in Petlyuk Column (납사열분해 가스분리공정에서의 Petlyuk Column 설계)

  • Light Naphtha is distillated from crude oil unit and separated into the methane, ethylene and propylene by boiling point difference in sequence. This separation is conducted using a series of binary-like columns. This separation method is known that the energy consumed in the reboiler is used to separate the heaviest components and most of this energy is discarded as vapor condensation in the overhead cooler. In this study, the first two columns of the separation process are replaced with the Petlyuk column. A structural design was exercised by the stage computation with ideal tray efficiency in equilibrium condition. Compared with the performance of a conventional system of 3-column model, The design outcome shows that the procedure is simple and efficient because the composition of the liquid component in the column tray was designed to be similar to the equilibrium distillation curve. The performance of the new process indicates that an energy saving of 12.1% is obtained and the cost savings of 44 million won per day based on gross domestic product is reduced under same total number of trays and the initial investment cost is saved.

User-centric Immersible and Interactive Electronic Book based on the Interface of Tabletop Display (테이블탑 디스플레이 기반 사용자 중심의 실감형 상호작용 전자책)

  • In this paper, we propose user-centric immersible and interactive electronic book based on the interface of tabletop display. Electronic book is usually used for users that want to read the text book with multimedia contents like video, audio, animation and etc. It is based on tabletop display platform then the conventional input device like keyboard and mouse is not essentially needed. Users can interact with the contents based on the gestures defined for the interface of tabletop display using hand finger touches then it gives superior and effective interface for users to use the electronic book interestingly. This interface supports multiple users then it gives more diverse effects on the conventional electronic contents just made for one user. In this paper our method gives new way for the conventional electronics book and it can define the user-centric gestures and help users to interact with the book easily. We expect our method can be utilized for many edutainment contents.

  • In 21st century as a digital era, visual communication design becomes more important than any other period. Recently, traditional typographic design for the communication with emphasis on the readability and experimental typographic design with emphasis on the expressionism contrary to the traditional concept coexists. There have been experiments on the typography with the establishment of modem art concept in the past: this trend is more obvious since the 1980s with the technological development of desktop computer. In this study, experimental typography works by David Carson who is one of the most representative graphic designers of the 1990s are analyzed in detail, and problems and prospects of this experimental typography in a digital era contrary to the traditional viewpoint we discussed.

  • 최근의 한국사회는 모든 분야에 있어 개혁을 추진하고 있다. 이러한 개혁은 문민정부라는 국내 정치변화도 한 요인이지만, 지구촌 시대로 들어서는 국제적 환경 변화도 큰 요인이다. 이제 교육 분야, 특히 대학은 외부세계와 단절되어 오직 진리만 추구하던 '상아탑'적 전통에만 안주할 수 없게 되었다. 대학도 환경의 변화에 능동적으로 대처하여 조직 체계와 그 운영에 있어 개방성을 추진하여야 한다. 대학의 최고 정책 결정기구인 대학이사회의 구성과 기능 그리고 집행기관인 총장의 선출과정 및 리더십에 대해 개방성이 강조되고, 행정의 운영에 구성원의 참여와 공개가 보장되는 것은 대학행정의 민주성을 확립하는 필수적 요소이다.

  • FRN (Full range Naphtha) is distilled from crude oil in a Naphtha Splitter Unit and is separated into the Light Straight Naphtha, Heavy Naphtha, and kerosene according to the boiling point in sequence. This separation is conducted using a series of binary-like columns. In this separation method, the energy consumed in the reboiler is used to separate the heaviest components and most of this energy is discarded as vapor condensation in the overhead cooler. A Study on the Production of 3D Datasets for Stone Pagodas by Period in Korea

  • Currently, most of content restoration using artificial intelligence learning is 2D learning. However, 3D form of artificial intelligence learning is in an incomplete state due to the disadvantage of requiring a lot of computation and learning speed from the existing 2 axes (X, Y) to 3 axes (X, Y, Z). The purpose of this paper is to secure a data-set for artificial intelligence learning by analyzing and 3D modeling the stone pagodas of ourinari by era based on the two-dimensional information (image) of cultural assets. In addition, we analyzed the differences and characteristics of towers in each era in Korea, and proposed a feature modeling method suitable for artificial intelligence learning. Restoration of cultural properties relies on a variety of materials, expert techniques and historical archives. By recording and managing the information necessary for the restoration of cultural properties through this study, it is expected that it will be used as an important documentary heritage for restoring and maintaining Korean traditional pagodas in the future.
