한국건강관리협회는 전국 1,000여 명의 직원이 참여한 가운데 여수 디오션리조트에서 9월 10일부터 15일까지 2012년도 직원 전체 연수를 가졌다. 불과 며칠 전 우리나라에 큰 피해를 주고 간 태풍 '볼라벤'과 '덴빈'을 겪은 뒤라 이들의 만남은 서로간의 안부와 안도감으로 더욱 반가움에 가득 차 있었다.

지난 97년부터 교사 및 학생들의 정보 활용교육 등이 강화되어 추진되면서, 교사에게는 정보소양 함양과 전문성 신장을 위한 다양한 형태의 연수가 이루어져 왔다. 특히, 기존의 출석수업 증설의 교사 연수는 연수시설의 부족과 시간적 제약 등의 문제로 인해 급변하는 정보화 시대에 대응하기 어려운 점이 있었다. 따라서 기존 연수의 문제점을 해결하고 디지털 정보사회에 적합한 연수체제 구축을 위한 대안으로 교원 원격교육 연수원이 도입 운영되고 있으며 해마다 그 수가 증가추세에 있다. 그러나, 이와 같은 양적 증가에도 불구하고, 정보교육 관련 원격연수에 대한 종합적 안내 체계가 미흡한 결과 현장의 교사들은 연수선택에 대한 정보제공이 적절하게 이루어지지 못했다. 또한, 2004년 4월 현재 53개의 원격교육연수원이 운영되고 있으며, 전체 교육과정 중 50%이상이 정보화 교육과정임에도 불구하고, 실제 다수의 교사들이 정보화 원격연수 기회를 접하지 못하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 현재 운영되고 있는 원격교육연수원의 지정 인가현황과 연수원별 교육과정 운영현황 등을 고찰해 보았으며, 현장의 교사들이 정보교육 관련한 원격교육의 필요성은 매우 높게 느끼지만, 실제의 이수상황은 그렇지 못하고 있다. 다양한 원격연수 기관에 대한 인지도가 매우 낮게 나타났으며, 결과 다수의 교사들이 자신의 관심과 흥미에 맞는 연수의 기회를 받지 못하고 있는 것이다. 문헌 및 설문조사를 통해 이러한 문제들에 대한 분석과 함께 개선방안을 본 연구에서 제안하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the results of training programs for strengthening teachers' ICT competency and to suggest the ways to improve the existing ones. To do this, we conducted literature review, web survey with teachers, and in-depth interview with training program operators. The results of the online survey indicated that generally speaking, the programs had been operated desirably, although three programs(Thinking with Technology Course, Essential Course, e-PBL Instructional Design Course) needed to take additional efforts for their effectiveness and efficiency. According to the results of in-depth interview with training operators, they demanded re-training for lecturers, self career development, quality control of regional delivery training, expansion of training periods, and post-supports after training etc.

This study was carried out to evaluate on the job implementation of ITEC(Invention Teacher Education Center)'s in-service teacher training. To accomplish this purpose, teacher's perception on retention, usefulness, utilization, and enhancement were investigated after one year completing in-service teacher training. The populations of this study were 60 teachers completing in-service teacher training of the southeast ITEC. The methods of this study were survey research and qualitative content analysis. The subjects of survey research were 30 teachers and the case analysis objects were 12 epilogues of in-service teacher training. The mean of job implementation of southeast ITEC's in-service teacher training was 4.07 on a five-point scale. Teacher's perception on job implementation sub factors after one year completing in-service teacher training were as follows. The mean of enhancement factor was 4.39, usefulness factor was 4.11, utilization factor was 3.94, and retention factor was 3.82 on a five-point scale. The mean of enhancement factor and usefulness factor were relatively high level as compared with the mean of job implementation and the mean of utilization factor and retention factor were relatively low level as compared with the mean of job implementation. The results of qualitative content analysis about 12 epilogues of in-service teacher training, some significant instances were deducted that representable retention, usefulness, utilization, and enhancement factors directly and indirectly.

The Journal of Industrial Management Society in Republic of Korea. In order to explore the effect of overseas language training on the development of foreign language accuracy, this study investigates the errors in English compositions produced by 27 Korean university students who received overseas language training for 15 weeks. For data collection, students were made to take two tests, a pretest and a posttest, a semester apart. The differences in composition elements and errors between the two tests were examined and statistical analyses were performed. Results showed that while the average length of the compositions and sentences increased, the number of sentences decreased in the posttest. Also, more errors were found in the posttest where the students tried to construct more complex sentence structures. The students' ability to generate sentences were found to have improved, while their competence in using grammatical elements accurately within sentences did not see great improvement. This implies that overseas language training was not effective for aiding the development of one's grammatical accuracy of a foreign language over a 15-week period for the students.

상수도관은 시간이 경과됨에 따라 부식이 발생하고 이로 인해 관의 두께 및 강도가 감소하여 점차 상수도관의 기능을 상실하게 된다. 이러한 노후 상수도관은 누수, 적수 등 수자원에 막대한 경제적인 손실을 발생시키고 사람들에게 많은 불편을 끼친다. 현재 우리나라도 전체 상수도관 중 노후 상수도관이 많은 부분을 차지하고 있기 때문에 교체나 개선이 시급한 실정이다. 하지만 전체 상수도관을 교체하는 것은 막대한 예산이 필요하기 때문에 현실적으로 어려운 문제이다. 따라서 상수도관의 노후도 분석을 통하여 상수관망의 최적 교체 우선순위를 판단하고 교체를 실시하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 노후도 분석에 중요한 관의 부식깊이와 잔존수명을 예측하고 신뢰성해석을 통해 파괴확률을 산정하였다. 이를 위해 Romanoff(1957)와 환경부(2002)에서 실측한 상수관의 관종에 따른 관두께 변화를 적용하여 해석하였다. 실측 자료를 통해 부식깊이, 잔존수명 예측 모델을 수립하였으며 이에 따른 관의 파괴확률을 산정하였다. Romanoff(1957)의 혼합강관과 주철관에 대한 실측 자료를 사용하여 상수관의 사용연수가 10년, 20년, 30년 경과됨에 따른 부식깊이와 관파괴확률을 산정하였다. 혼합강관의 경우 사용연수에 따른 부식깊이는 0.57mm, 0.92mm, 1.21mm으로 산정되었으며, 주철관의 경우 0.16mm, 0.24mm, 0.31mm으로 산정되었다. 또한 신뢰성모형을 직경 300mm관에 적용한 결과 최대 상수도압 15kg/cm²에서 혼합강관의 사용연수에 따른 파괴확률은 3.36%, 4.65%, 6.18%로 나타났으며 주철관은 1.36%, 2.50%, 2.68%로 나타났다. 환경부(2002)의 주철관에 대한 부식 실측 자료를 통해 상수관의 사용연수 10년, 20년, 30년 경과에 따른 부식깊이와 관파괴확률을 산정하였으며 초기 관두께 측정 자료를 통해 잔존수명도 예측하였다. 부식깊이는 1.02mm, 1.25mm, 1.41mm으로 산정되었으며, 파괴확률은 5.15%, 6.30%, 7.35%로 산정되었다. 그리고 잔존수명의 경우 부식률이 20%일 때, 잔존수명은 약 30년으로 산정되었다.

We have studied possibilities of Peer Instruction(PI) to train in-service science teachers in elementary and middle schools through both degree of conceptual changes and investigating responses to questionaries. 169 teachers were attended and the subject for training was about light propagation to teach scientific conception about a pin hole camera. 6 conceptests were developed. Degree of conceptual changes was analyzed from results obtained from 24 elementary and 32 middle school teachers among them. On the other hand, answers to questionaries were obtained from 135. Relatively high gain near to about 0.7 in conceptual changes was obtained even though their initial levels were quite low. Interesting point is that elementary teachers have higher initial level and larger gain than middle school teachers. Teachers have very much enjoyed and showed strong support to PI for helping conceptual change, and willing to use PI to their own class. Also they conceived dealing concept in teacher training is very important and evaluated PI very positively for teacher training.
