A Development of Intelligent Controller for Phase Control in Main Circuit Breaker (주회로차단기 투입전원 위상제어를 위한 지능형 제어기 개발)

  • In railways powered by AC power, the main circuit breaker (MCB) is used for supplying the electric power to the catenary of the vehicle. Generally, the main circuit breaker is located between the pantograph and the main transformer, and the phase of the power applied to the vehicle changes according to the operation timing of the main circuit breaker. The operation of the main circuit breaker should be actively controlled according to the phase of the power source, since the phase of the power causes unintended transient states in the vehicle's electrical system in the form of an inrush current and surge voltage. However, the MCB has a delay time when it operates which is not constant. Therefore, an intelligent controller is needed to predict the operation delay time and control the opening and closing of the MCB.

  • The Korean High Speed Train(KHST) had been developed and evaluating on the Kyoung-Bu High Speed Line by through 'G7-R&D project'. In order to evaluate the function and characteristics of high speed train system, various experimental conditions have been considered and conducted. In this paper, current collection characteristics of KHST between pantograph and catenary system and dynamic behaviors are measured and analysed over 300 to 350km/h in running speed of KHST. A measuring system which was developed and installed on the Korean High Speed Train for the performance and mechanical characteristics of the KHST pantograph is used for this trial running test and we proofed that KHST has a remarkable and stable current collection characteristics as it had been designed.

  • 현재, 전차선의 트롤리선을 설치하는 것은 수작업에 의해 행해지고 있어 작업의 효율화와 함께 최적의 장력제어가 필요하다. 케이블을 새롭게 가설하는 장치는 케이블을 릴에 감아 올릴 필요성은 거의 없기 때문에 케이블을 풀어주는 속도와 로드셀에 의해 장력을 검출하고 장력을 발생하는 하드웨어 구성방법을 연구하는 것이다 본 연구는 현수형 케이블(Catenary Cable)의 동적 모델링을 작성한다. 이 시스템에 대하여 교류서보 전동기를 이용한 장력 발생장치를 모델링한다. 현수형 시스템의 장력계측 장치는 하중변환기(load cell)를 사용하고 수학적 모델링을 행한다. 장력계측 장치에 관해서 스프링 저울을 이용해 출력을 비교 검토한 결과, 인장력을 계측하는 장치로서의 유효성을 확인하였다.

  • This paper presents expansion and contraction in accordance with temperature change of contact wire and messenger wire. The tensioning device is designed and installed to pull the contact wire and messenger wire straight at all times. Pulling a contract wire straight ensures that smooth contract is maintained between the contact wire and pantograph of an electric train, and this makes it possible to ensure a stable supply of electricity to the train. Normally, tensioning devices are installed at two positions over a distance of 1.0[km] to 1.6[km] per line. In installing the tensioning device, therefore, it is necessary to study the stroke(the range of the extension/contraction rate of the tensioning device compatible with that of the contact wire and messenger wire due to change in temperature). This paper introduces and discusses this topic.

  • In the ATs(Auto-Transformers)-fed AC electric railroad system, the trolley wire with high power is supported with a messenger by the dropper. As the dropper maintains the height of the trolley wire and plays a role in distributing the supply power, it should be stabilized in that an electric and mechanical character accord ins the change of the open air circumstance and constructed easily. Consequently, this paper propose C5111 Sn(3.5$\sim$4.5%) and hexagonal round bolt for the way of the efficient stabilization as a result of the test that the correlation of the Sn content and the change of temperature affect a character of product.

  • 현재 로프제조 공정, 전차 트롤리선 가설공사는 장력의 제어가 필요하지만 거의 수동으로 행하고 있는 실정이고 제품의 균질성과 생산성 향상을 위하여 제조 공정의 자동화가 필요하다. 따라서 전차의 트롤리선 가설공사는 드럼에 감긴 케이블을 풀어주고 양단의 장력을 일정히 유지하도록 조절할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 현수형 가선 케이블 가설장치의 자동화이다. 본 논문은 제어대상인 현수형 케이블의 수학적 모델을 작성하고 이것에 장력을 발생하는 교류서보 전동기의 수학적 모델을 구하였다. 제어 방법은 제어대상의 동적 모델이 비선형인 동시에 시변계이기 때문에 강인성이 있는 퍼지제어를 적용하여 시스템을 구성하고 시뮬레이션 실험에 의해 그 유효성을 평가하였다.

  • Recently, the development of reliability analysis system for combat system is required, because, necessities of integrated reliability analysis research are emphasized. In this paper, we develop a system which analyzes vulnerabilities for tank(or armored vehicle) based on the fault tree analysis(FTA) technique. The FTA is representative technique of reliability analysis to find cause of fault and calculate probability of fault. To do this, we propose a method to apply FTA technique into domain of vulnerability analysis for tank. Also, we develop the vulnerability analysis system using the proposed method. The system analyzes hit probabilities of components of tank based on multiple shot-lines, and calculates kill probabilities. The analyzed and calculated data support vulnerability analysis of tank.

  • Since many resources are put into the work of changing the railway operation within limited time, it is important to have a specific work plan and safety management. For this reason, the work schedule is shared in advance, and parallel work is being carried out simultaneously by rail system, such as tracks, trolly wires, and signals. However, due to the nature of the transfer work, the work is carried out at night when the railway operation is finished, and many resources are put into the limited area of the operating line, so the risk of safety accidents and failure to change the operating line is recognized as high. Nevertheless, there is still not enough research done in korea regarding the operation line change construction. Therefore, this study is conducted a survey on the track exchange work of railroad for working people, and analyzed the results of the survey. Finally, a standard work process was suggested to reduce the risk of track exchange work.

  • 판토그라프는 전차선(catenary)으로부터의 전류를 차량에 전달하는 장치로서 전동차 지붕 위에 설치되어 있다. 판토그라프의 설계 목표는 고속 및 다양한 환경 조건하에서 연속적이고 일정한 량의 전류를 차량에 전달하도록 하는 것이다. 열차가 고속화될수록 전류의 흐름이 중단되는 이선, 접촉선과 판토그라프 집전판의 마모, 공력 소음 등이 큰 문제로 대두되며, 이들 문제들이 고속용 판토그라프의 설계 기술에서 중요시되고 있다. 특히 이선은 동력 전달이 중단될 뿐만 아니라 이선시에 발생하는 아크로 인한 마모 증대, 통신 장해를 일으킨다. 유럽과 일렬에서는 그러한 문제를 인식하고 고속용 판토그라프에 대한 연구를 활발히 진행하고 있다. 또한 저속전철이나 고속전철을 운행하는 나라에서는 기존의 가선계를 그대로 이용하면서 고속화를 달성하기 위하여 기존 가선계에 대한 최적의 판토그라프 설계에 노력을 기울이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내 기존선 고속화에 필요한 최고속도 180km/h급 틸팅차량시스템의 핵심 구성요소인 판토그라프 제어기술에 대한 연구를 통하여 보다 안전한 틸팅차량용 판토그프사양 개발하는데 목적이 있다.

Analysis of Return Current by Common Earth on Electrical Line of the Gyeongbu Line (경부선 전철화 구간에서의 공동접지에 의한 귀선전류 분석)

  • Electrical Railroads provide electric power, which can operate vehicles, via feeder wires. And the supplied current returns to the transformer substation through lines and ground net. In domestic cases, the configuration of ground net affecting such a return current mostly uses an exclusive earth method. However, along with the introduction to Gyeongbu HSL(High Speed Line), the concept of Common Earth was applied to Electrical Railroads. In this paper, based on the return currents analyzed to be measured in the electrified sections for the operation of High Speed Rails in existing lines, we analyze the relations between earth methods and return currents in electrified sections. For analysis, we utilize the measured values of return currents measured in track circuits in Gyeongbu HSL, and predictive values of those compared to the earth methods between Gyeongbu HSL and the existing electrified sections.
