The Improvement of Material Quality for Dropper Clamp on the Catenary System (전차선로 드로퍼 클램프 재질 향상에 관한 연구)

  • The research sees the catenary dropper clamp using a test equipment which is using actual sample in the field. This test helps the quality improvement of material. For raising the reliability of data, classified it by type and tests especially in the multiple sample but it was under testing in the sample of decimal at circumstance. From the accuracy side of research data it was insufficient because the dropper clamp was in small quantity but it contributes in quality of material improvement. The quality of material data which it gets with spectroscopic was not accurate so hereafter it needs to follow wet analysis and precise analysis to join in the test which is detailed comes to accomplish with the data accuracy.

  • Line constants are composed by impedances and susceptances. A paper which was published estimated only impedances of line constants. Therefore, this paper estimates susceptances as well as impedances of equivalent five-conductors model using the reduced equivalent method. In order to verify estimated line constants, we measured line constants of real railway system. And we compared calculated results with measured data on 60Hz∼3000Hz. For the other verification, the calculation results from the proposed model and the measurement data from the test are compared focused on the amplification of harmonic current in the paper.

  • With increasing interest in the reduction of cost for operation and maintenance of overhead catenary system, various methods of condition monitoring have been developed. In this paper, we proposed network-based telemetry system for condition monitoring in railway and acquired data from any kind of sensor in catenary line and structure at high voltage. This development gives the solution for online condition monitoring in railway. To check the validity of our approach in terms of application, we realized network-based telemetry System.

  • The 350[km/h] catenary system was successfully opened in Honam high speed line. This 350[km/h] catenary system is firstly constructed in South Korea. Therefore the current collection performance of this system should be tested and evaluated by the authority. This paper describes the testings by running of HEMU-430X train and the evaluation criteria and result analysis to determine whether the performance of the catenary is good or not as a verification of catenary-pantograph interface. In detail, the contact force by pantograph, arcs by loss of contact and uplift amount of the catenary support were measured and discussed as a category of the current collection performance.

  • This Paper presents circuit model of catenery in electrified railway system. Most of (a.c.)electrified railway system adopted as AT fed power supply system. This system is fed with twice voltage. It is that AT system can be fed through longer distance. Conventional circuit model of catenary is used T equivalent circuit with lumped parameter.   • This paper presents the implementation of Real-time data acquisition system for dynamic characteristics of overhead contact wire in electric railway. The reconfigurable field-programmable gate array (FPGA) and LabVIEW graphical development tools have been used to Real-time monitoring system. The results from a field test show that the proposed technique and developed system can be practically applied to measure the assessment quantity or quantities on overhead contact lines for the online real-time process monitoring.

  • The ice coats are built on 25 kV overhead contact wire when the temperature is lower than $0^{\circ}C$. It generates shockwaves at the mechanical interface of the collecting strips of the pantograph and the contact wire. The de-icing processes should be performed to avoid shockwaves which are generated by a pulsed high-voltage arc discharge. This paper presents temperature analysis of the de-icing effects which could be applied to the overhead contact wire of railways using Joule heat. The results show that 350 A is the proper current for $0^{\circ}C$ conductor according to environmental condition such as velocity of air stream, ambient temperature and moisture.

  • 자기애자는 전차선로 설비에서 가장 중요한 전기절연재료이지만, 내충격에 결함이 있고 파괴되기 쉽고, 무거워 취급에 어려움이 따른다. 이러한 자기애자의 단점을 해결하기 위하여 고분자 애자의 개발이 진행되어지고 있다. 그러나 고분자 애자의 경우 재질 특성상 자기 애자보다 분진의 부착이 쉽고 부착된 분진의 세척이 어려운 단점이 있어, 장기 사용 시 특성 변화가 우려된다. 본 연구에서는 TiO2 세라믹 타겟이 부착된 비대칭 마그네트론 스퍼터링 장치를 이용하여 TiO2 박막을 증착하였으며 증착되어진 TiO2 박막의 광촉매 특성과 트라이볼로지 특성을 고찰하였다. 광촉매 특성으로는 표면 접촉각 분석을 통하여 고찰하였으며, 트라이볼로지 특성으로는 경도, 잔류응력, 마찰계수, 표면 거칠기 등을 평가하였다. 또한 XRD, FESEM 분석 등 구조분석을 통하여 광촉매 특성과 트라이볼로지 특성등과의 연관성을 규명하였다.

Fatigue Behavior of Catenary Wires by Environments Degradation (환경열화에 의한 가선재의 피로거동)

  • The effect of surface damage on fatigue properties of catenary wires were investigated to estimate their service lift. As surface defects of the wires caused by surface corrosion increase, surface roughness gets worse, and as roughness increases, it is easy for moisture coming from rain and dew to be condensed around uneven parts of the surface. The condensed moisture causes a locally severe corrosion which leads to damage of the wires. Corrosion of catenaty wires can make their actual lifetime shorter than that originally designed. The amount of decrease was more prominent as environmental conditions became more corrosive. They are also vibrated with some amplitude everytime pantographs touch contact line. The frequent cyclic load on the wire may result in a fatigue fracture. Surface damage by corrosion can make formation of crack initiation at fatigue. In the present study, the fatigue life of the used wire was measured 35 to 50% compared with that of new one in average.

  • The Seoul subway is acting the center of public transportation after the opening of the first line on August 15, 1974. and the subway line of the DC traction system is running and building to the ninth line. However, the main insulation parts used in overhead contact line are now imported from overseas products. Therefore, this paper considers domestic manufacture technology, supply easiness and economic effectiveness of insulation products and reviews the safety of support insulator used in rigid conductor line, stem insulator used in movable bracket and AC/DC different phase section insulator that localization development is necessary.
