전자파 조사 흰쥐 간조직의 Mixed Function Oxidase System과 산화적 손상에 미치는 Catechin의 영향 (Effects of Catechin on Mixed Function Oxidase System and Oxidative Damage in Rat Liver Exposed to Microwave)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of catechin on the changes of microsomal mixed function oxidase(MFO) system and oxidative damage in rat liver exposed to microwave. Sprague-Dawley male rats weighing 200$\pm$10g body weight were randomly assigned to one normal and microwave exposed groups: microwave exposed groups were divided three groups: catechin free diet(MW) group, 0.25% catechin(MW+0.25C) group and 0.5% catechin(MW+0.5C) group to the levels of dietary catechin supplementation. The rats were irradiated with microwave at frequency 2.45GHz for 15 min and then the changes pattern of mixed function oxidase system and oxidative damage were investigated for 16 days. The activity of XOD in MW group was increased from 4 day to 8 days after irradiation, compared to normal group and decreased to the level of normal group 16 days. But catechin supplementation group were maintained to the normal level. The contents of cytochrome P(sub)450 and NADPH cytochrome P(sub)450 reductase activities in liver of MW group was increased from 4 day to 8 day after irradiation, compared to normal group and decreased to the level of normal group at 16 day. But catechin supplementation group were recovered to the normal level. The contents of superoxide radical in liver of MW group was increased 1.28, 1.25, 1.17 fold of normal group at 4,6 and 8 days days after irradiation. respectively, but catechin supplementation group were maintained the normal level. The contents of lipifuscin in liver have a same tendency in superoxide radical contents. These result suggested that the supplementation of catechin have control the mixed function oxidase system and oxidative damage and that may help to recover tissues from microwave damage. 나노 은을 이용한 전자파 차폐 직물이 뇌파에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of Electroencephalogram of Blocking Electromagnetic Wave Materials by useing the Nano Silver)

  • This study is one of the fundamental researches for the development of future smart clothing and textile products using silver(Ag) nano powder. Our study was focused on the blocking or insulating effects of nano-processed textiles from electromagnetic waves. Also, for the surveying of the actual effect to human body, we measure the variation of electroencephalogram which is an indication of human physical symptoms. Among various textiles in this experiment, nano silver processed case has shown the best blocking performance from the electromagnetic waves, which decreases depending on the distance. As a reference model of working environment, we setup the visual stimuli object on the computer that is a source of electromagnetic wave. The power spectrum distribution and the incidence of electroencephalogram was measured. The analysed data has shown that, with nano-processed textiles, ${\beta}$ wave does not appear very often where ${\beta}$ wave appears only to illustrate the stable states of human's body. However, as for the materials without nano processing, the ratio of ${\gamma}$ waves in the total level of electroencephalogram becomes higher in spite of short exposure to visual stimuli in work environment, which shows that the worker becomes stressed. The ${\beta}$ wave electroencephalogram of all materials is drawn in calcarine fissure of occipital lobe to show the convergent distribution, and stronger with block-processed Nano Silver Silk(NSS). The study based on the potential risks of human diseases such as physical fatigue by electromagnetic waves, and has shown that the application of Nano Silver textile for human uses require a proper particle size of it which would not penetrate cellular tissues, and a proper binder and binding treatment for it. However, it is highly required for back-up researches to verify various aspects in applying nano silver to textile products.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of microsomal mixed function oxidase (MFO) and xanthine oxidase activities (XOD) in the liver of rats exposed to microwave. Sprague-Dawley male rats weighing 200$\pm$10g body weight were randomly assigned to a normal and microwave exposed(MW) groups; microwave exposed groups were divided into two groups; microwave (MW) group and green tea(GT) gropu which were fed distilled water and green tea extracts during experimental periods, respectively. Rats were irradiated with microwave at the frequency of 2.45 GHz for 15min and rats wre sacrificed at the 4th day of the microwave irradiaton. The hemoglobin level of GT group was higher than that of the normal gropu and MW group, but the hematocrit value was not significantly different among all experimental gropus. The activity of serum GOT of MW group was significantly increased but that of GT group was similar to normal group. Activities of GPT were not significantly different among all experimental groups. Liver XOD activity was significantly increased in the microwave exposed groups but green tea normalized the XOD activity. The activity of hepatic microsomal cytochrome P450 was significantly increased in MW group compared to normal group and that of GT group was similar to that of the normal group. The activity of hepatic microsomal NADPH-cytochrome P450 reductase was also significantly increased in MW group compared to normal group, but that of GT group was similar to that fo the normal group. In conclusion, the activities of MFO and XOD were elevated by microwave irradiaton, but the activation of MFO system as well as the damage of the liver by microwave were reduced by green tea supplementation.

PC용 광대역 EMC 필터의 설계 및 제작에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design and Fabrication of Broad-Band EMC Filter for PC)

  • 본 논문은 개인용 컴퓨터(PC)에 적합한 EMC 필터의 제작에 대해서 다룬다. PC는 CPU를 포함한 여러 소자들이 모여 있어 각 장치 간에 서로 많은 간섭이 일어날 수 있고, PC와 연결되는 여러 외부 장치들에 영향을 받아 불요 전자파가 많이 발생필 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 PC를 측정대상기기(EUT)로 하여 임피던스에 적합한 노이즈 저감 필터를 제작하였다. 관통형(Feed-through) 컨덴서와 높은 투자율을 가진 페라이트 비드로 구성된 필터를 제작한 필터와 함께 적용하여 PC용 EMC 필터를 제작하였다. 실험을 통해서 제작한 필터가 10 MHz~1.5 GHz에서 삽입손실이 40 dB 이상 감쇠되며, CISPR Pub. 22 규격과 IEC 61000-4-4의 level 4까지 만족함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 가시광통신(VLC)은 가까운 장래에 각광받을 무선 통신 기술로서 전자파 간섭 없이 무료로 넓은 대역폭을 사용할 수 있기 때문에 RF에 민감한 운용 환경에 유용성이 매우 기대된다. 무선통신에 제약을 받는 병원 등에서 의료장비들 운용에 유용하게 쓰일 수 있는 음성인식 시스템을 포함한 LED 기반의 VLC 시스템을 제안한다. 특히 주변 빛에 의한 잡음 영향을 극복하기 위해 색채공간을 기반으로 한 새로운 변조기법을 제안하고, 또한 BER을 줄이기 위해 심벌 수에 따른 다양한 색채공간 성좌도의 가능성을 제시한다. 끝으로 VLC에서의 다중 사용자 접속을 위해 Slotted ALOHA 및 TDMA MAC 프로토콜의 정당성을 기술하였다.

복합형 구조에서의 전자파전파 특성 (Wave Propagation characteristic from Composite structures)

  • 이동통신의 급속한 보급과 발전에 의하여, 시가지에서의 전자파전파의 특성을 해명해야할 뿐만 아니라, 산림, 계곡 등의 외부 공간과 실내 공간 등의 전파난청 지역으로 불려오던 공간에 있어서도 안정적으로 통신을 이용할 수 있는 무선통신환경 개선의 중요성이 높게 요구 되고 있다. 더욱이, 이동통신의 디지털화와 더불어 건물 등에 의한 반사에 의해서 생기는 멀티패스에 기인하는 수신펄스의 시간지연이 고속디지털통신의 장해가 되고 있다. 이러한 도심 시가지에대한 전자파전파의 특성을 보다 정밀하게 추정하기 위해서는 건물 벽면의 구조 등의 영향도 고려 대상으로 포함 시킬 필요성이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 FVTD(finite volume time domain)법을 적용하여, 기초적인 자료 보완을 위하여, 즉 주기적 구조에 의한 산란 특성과 불규칙적 표면을 포함하는 복합형 구조에 의한 2차원 전파환경 모델들에 대한 산란 특성을 조사 하였다.

근로자들의 극저주파 전자파 노출 수준에 따른 인체 영향 평가 (Health Status of Electric Utility Workers Exposed to Extremely Low Frequency Electromagnetic Field (ELF-EMF))

  • Recently, the use of an electrical apparatus has brought up concerns of health risks from exposure to electromagnetic fields. EMF is composed of electric fields and magnetic fields. Heavy exposure to EMF can occur only in the vicinity of high-voltage overhead transmission lines, close to transformers and underground cables, and also close to large electrical machinery. In this thesis I have investigated the hypothesis of the correlation between occupational exposure to ELF-EMF and the risks of leukemia, anemia, cancer. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate whether or not ELF-EMF emitted from electric power stations and transformer substations affect some hematological parameters and tumor markers of electric utility workers. The hematological test results and tumor markers under investigation were similar in the two groups but some of parameters such as RBC, AFP, LDH showed significant difference between the two groups from two sample t-test (p<0.05). The exposure group showed increased LDH level compared to the control group by two sample t-tests. In addition, the abnormal LDH level in the exposure group was observed to be clinically significant by ${\chi}^2$-test. However, the levels of RBC, AFP observed were not clinically significant by ${\chi}^2$-test (p>0.05). These results suggested that ELF-EMF does not affect most blood test parameters except LDH of electric utility workers.

지중 시설물 관리를 위한 스마트 맨홀 디바이스 (Smart Manhole Device for Underground Facility Management)

  • 지상의 각종 시설물들의 지중화가 이루어지며 상수도 및 오수의 악취, 전봇대 쓰러짐, 전자파 영향 및 선로작업에 의한 단선 등의 문제들은 줄어들었다. 그러나, 맨홀 뚜껑 개방에 의한 추락, 가연성 가스 폭발, 인체 유해 가스 및 산소농도 부족에 질식, 고압선 발열에 의한 화재 및 맨홀 침수 등 새로운 문제점들이 발생하고 있다. 또한, 이러한 문제들이 시민 사회의 피해를 주고 공공안전에 불안요소로 작용하고 있다. 이에 본 논문을 통해 맨홀 내 외부의 안정적인 통신환경을 확보하고, 맨홀 내 시설물을 관리하기 위한 다양한 디바이스들과의 무선 통신이 가능한 스마트 맨홀 디바이스에 중점을 두어 연구를 진행하고 향후 지중 시설물 관리의 방향성을 제시하고 공공 안전에 기여 하고자 한다.

기업의 제품화 역량, 조직역량, 해외시장 적응역량이 수출성과에 미치는 영향: 전자파 차폐 기업을 중심으로 (The Effects of Productization, Organizational, Overseas Market Adaptation Competences on Export Performance: Focus on Korean Electromagnetic Wave Shielding Firms)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine effects of productization and organizational competences on export performance of electromagnetic shielding companies and to analyze moderating effects of overseas market adaptation competences. For this, hypotheses were established by reviewing previous studies and an empirical analysis was conducted for testing. Design/methodology/approach - For this study, a survey was conducted for workers at electromagnetic shielding companies and 250 valid responses out of 300 questionnaires were aquired. A frequency analysis of related variables was conducted. Through an exploratory factor analysis, validity and reliability tests of measuring tools were conducted and a descriptive statistics was analyzed for collected data result and hypotheses testing. Findings - A correlation analysis was conducted to examine relationships among variables. Construct, convergent and discriminant validities were analyzed after a confirmatory factor analysis and a multi-group confirmatory factor analysis. Finally, with a verified model, the hypotheses and the moderating effects were tested. The results are as follows: First, the productization competence has a positive effect on export performance; Second, the organizational competence has a positive effect on export performance. Especially, the organizational competence has more effect on export performance than the productization competence. Although a development of new technology and product is important in terms of performance, along with these competences, a way of acquiring new skills and knowledge, and internalization and adaptation in organizations have more effect on export performance. Third, overseas market adaptation competence moderates effects of organizational and productization competences. Research implications or Originality - It is necessary to seek out opportunities for workers to participate in actively, such as conferences and seminars, to strengthen organizational competence. It is strongly believed that a constant development of high quality product will contribute to export performance. Lastly, in a policy level, supports on SMEs by governments are to be strengthened by providing with finance and human resource.

RF 방사 신호 차폐를 통한 비상 유압경고등의 비정상 점등 현상의 원인분석 및 개선 (Analysis and Improvement of False Alarm Phenomenon of Emergency Hydraulic Warning Light by Shielded RF Radiation Signal)

  • 본 논문에서는 항공기 내의 RF 방사 신호로 인하여 비상 유압 경고등이 비정상으로 점등되는 현상에 대한 개선 방안을 연구하였다. RF 방사 신호의 전자파 간섭으로 비행 중에 비상 유압 시스템의 경고등이 점등되면, 비행 임무 및 안전에 영향을 주어 비행 임무의 효율 저해 및 정비 소요가 발생한다. 따라서, 비상 유압 경고등의 비정상 점등에 대해서 원인 분석 및 고장탐구를 수행하였다. RF 방사 신호의 경로에 있는 항공기의 동체 하부 복합체 스트립을 차폐하여 비상유입지시계로 유입되는 RF 방사 신호를 차단하도록 개선하였다. 또한, 지상과 비행 모니터링을 통해 개선 방안을 적용한 결과도 함께 기술하였다.
