Measurement of induced current in human body under 60 Hz magnetic field (60 Hz 자기장 하의 생체 유도전류 측정)

  • 60 [Hz] 전자기장의 생체 영향은 오랜 연구가 있었지만 아직도 논란이 많은 분야이다. 본 연구에서는 인체 팬텀 모델을 사용하여 1-3[G]자계인가 시 유도 전류를 측정하였다. 또한 2차윈 다매질장의 실험모델을 제작하여 유도전류 측정하고 이를 해석해와 비교를 통해 정확도를 검토 하였다. 또한 인체 단면을 2차원 임피던스법을 이용하여 계산한 결과와 이의 팬텀 모델 제자 후 전류를 측정한 간과 비하였다. 마지막으로 인체를 실물에 가깝게 하기위해 3차원 다매질장의 모델로 모의하여 장기, 폐, 간, 실장, 뇌 등의 구성 요소에 각각의 전도도를 부여한 인체 팬텀 모델을 제작해 유도 전류를 측정하였다.

Predictions of Short-Circuit Characteristics of Rotor Windings in a Generator using Electromagnetic Analysis (전자장해석을 통한 발전기 회전자권선 단락특성 예측)

  • As the increasing of capacity and technology of power facilities, rotating machines such as turbine generators and water turbines are getting higher at capacity but smaller in size. Thus the monitoring and diagnosis of generators for fault detection and protection has attracted intensive interest. Most of electrical faults of rotating machines appear in their windings. In case of an after-fault in high capacity rotating machines, the recovering cost is usually very expensive and additional time is necessary for returning in a normal situation. In this paper, the magnetic flux patterns in air-gap of a generator under various fault states as well as a normal state are simulated by a conventional FEM tool. These results are successfully applied to detection and diagnosis of the short-circuit condition in rotor windings of a high capacity generator.

  • In this paper free vibration analysis of symmetric and cross-ply elastic laminated shells based on FSDT with two different boundary conditions(C-C, S-S) was performed through discretization of equations of motion and boundary condition. Model of laminated composite cylindrical shells subjected to a combination of magnetic and thermal fields is developed via Hamilton's variational principle. These coupled equations of motion are based on the electromagnetic equations (Faraday, Ampere, Ohm, and Lorenz equations) and thermal equations which are involved in constitutive equations. Variations of dynamic characteristics of composite shells with applied magnetic field, temperature gradient, and stacking sequence for each boundary conditions are investigated and pertinent conclusions are derived.

  • An advanced angular position detector (APD) for the SMART CEDM (control element drive mechanism) was designed. The APD is required to be small size with high resolution for angular displacement of rotary step motor. Unfortunately the proximity sensors can not be adopted to SMART CEDM because the motor shaft is located in the pressure boundary cylinder filled with the primary coolant under high temperature and pressure. This paper describes the electromagnetic finite element analysis for the design of advanced angular position detector for the SMART CEDM. The electromagnetic properties obtained will be used as Input for the optimization analysis of the APD.

  • In this paper, we have addressed a new approach to encode the DCT coefficients efficiently by exploiting the structural differences among the probability distribution functions of them. We have proved analytically that if signals are separated according to their source models, the entropy of the separated signals decreases below that of the unseparated signals. And simulation results show that the average codelength decrease when each (runlength, level) symbol is encoded adaptively according to the index associated with the symbol.

  • In this paper, a novel theory of realizing the series capacitor with broadside coupled suspended substrate stripline (BCSSS) is proposed. The proposed theory is relatively simple because the method of odd mode analysis is only applied: However, this theory supplies reliable result by considering the line effective width and end effect caused by the fringing field. The simulation results are presented to compare and analyze the characteristics of the ideal lumped capacitor and the coupled line capacitor. Also, the capacitive gap coupled line band-pass filter based on the proposed theory are designed and fabricated. The results prove successfully the validity of the proposed theory.

  • 온라인 전기버스용 전동기는 차량의 운전특성을 고려하여 가속성 향상을 위한 높은 기동토크가 요구되며, 넓은 속도영역 운전을 위한 약계자 제어성능이 우수해야 한다. 특히 전동기의 최대 동작속도가 배터리 전압에 의해 결정되므로, 고속 운전영역 확보를 위해 전압제한을 고려한 전기설계가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 정격속도 대비 최대속도의 비가 1:4로서 넓은 약계자 영역이 요구되는 온라인 전기버스용 전동기에 대해 개념설계를 진행하여 Active Part의 치수를 산출하고, 고정자 권선의 턴수 및 회전자 형상 변화에 따른 전압 및 출력특성을 비교 분석하여, 온라인 전기버스용 전동기에 요구되는 약계자 제어특성을 만족하도록 설계안을 도출하였다. 또한 전동기의 고속 동작시 주 손실인 철손에 의한 온도상승을 고려하여 영구자석의 감자안정성을 분석하였으며, 전자장 FEM 해석을 적용하여 설계결과의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 대용량에 적합한 새로운 DC/DC 컨버터에 관한 것으로써, PFM-SBC(Series-Boost Capacitor) 풀 브리지 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안된 회로는 스위칭 주파수에 따라 직렬 부스트 캐패시터의 전압을 증감하여 출력전압을 제어하는 방식이며, 50% 고정 시비율로 구동하기 때문에 기존 위상천이 풀 브리지 회로에 존재하는 환류 구간이 발생하지 않는다. 또한 넓은 부하 영역에 대해 영전압-스위칭이 보장되므로 효율 및 발열 특성이 우수하며, 출력 인덕터 전류 리플이 작은 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 컨버터들의 특성을 분석하고, 제안된 회로의 이론적 해석 및 PSIM 모의실험을 수행하며, 이를 실제로 1.2KW급 서버용 전원장치 프로토 타입 제작을 통하여 제안된 SBC 풀 브리지 컨버터의 타당성을 검증한다.

Estimation of Piezoelectric Fields built in InxGa1-XGaN Quantum Well Structures using Numerical Analysis (InxGa1-XN/GaN 양자우물 구조의 수치 해석을 이용한 압전장 평가)

  • Piezoelectric fields built in I $n_{x}$G $a_1$$_{-x}$N/GaN (x=0.06∼0.1) quantum wells (QWs) have been estimated by comparing the transition energies, both calculated and measured by photoluminescence (PL). The calculation was numerically carried out with a rectangular QW model, where the effective bandgap considering a bowing facto, energy levels quantized for the lowest lying electrons and heavy holes (1e-lhh), and biaxial compressive strain were included except for the piezoelectric fields. The calculated values were observed to be larger (9∼15 meV) than the measured values by PL, which was considered to be caused by the piezoelectric fields built in InGaN/GaN QW interface. In addition, we observed the energy shift by measuring the EPDPL (excitation power-dependent PL), which was compared with the energy difference caused by the piezoelectric fields.

Active Flow Control Technology for Vortex Stabilization on Backward-Facing Step (와류 안정화를 위한 후향계단 유동 능동제어기법)

  • This paper addresses the technology of active flow control for stabilizing a flow field. In order for flow field modeling from the control point of view, the huge-data set from CFD(computational fluid dynamics) are reduced by using a POD(Proper Orthogonal Decomposition) method. And then the flow field is expressed with dynamic equation by low-order modelling approach based on the time and frequency domain analysis. A neural network flow estimator from the pressure information measured on the surface is designed for the estimation of the flow state in the space. The closed-loop system is constructed with feedback flow controller for stabilizing the vortices on the flow field.
