  • The document delivery service has been influenced by the changing digital information environment and the copyright law. This paper proposes the key points for the improved documents delivery service through trend analysis of BL(The Great Britain), NLA(Australia), subito(German speaking countries), JST(Japan), KISTI(Korea) and KERIS(Korea) and copyright law in each country. The purpose of this study is providing with the clues for developing strategies that can satisfy the users' needs in document delivery service for libraries and information centers.

  • Public service provision through internet is one of major parts for e-government implementation. It is essential to link the internal administrative network with internet to provide the services through internet and to support kiosks through internet, which should result in critical issues for security. A relay server, as a front server for the public service processing system and a web server, a control server for kiosks, are placed between the public service processing system and kiosks to solve those security issues. It is the way to solve security issues through protecting direct communication between the public service processing system and a web server and authenticating a relay server and a web server through authentication process. In the implementation of the system this paper provide a design for an architecture model of the public service processing system through internet, which are aiming to develop high level of the quality system effectively, to reduce the risk of initial stage of development, and to reduce the incurring cost due to reworks.

  • 현대인들의 생활필수품인 스마트 폰을 이용한 전자상의 거래가 날이 갈수록 활발해지고 있다. 스마트 폰을 이용하여 실시간으로 물품을 구매 혹은 판매하며 자신이 원하는 물품을 검색하는 행위가 급증하고 있다. 그러나 구매하고자 하는 물품이 즉시 검색이 안 되면 해당 물품이 등록되기 전까지 구매자는 지속적으로 검색을 수행해야 하는 문제가 있다. 이 논문에서는 사용자가 원하는 물품에 대한 정보를 이용하여 실시간으로 사용자에게 물품의 등록여부를 알려주는 서비스를 제공함으로써 사용자에게 편의성을 제공한다.

Wireless Packet Scheduling Algorithm for Delay Proportional Internet Differentiated Services (무선 망에서의 지연 비례 인터넷 차별화 서비스 제공을 위한 스케줄링 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we propose a wireless scheduling algorithm to provide the Internet delay proportional differentiated services in wireless networks. For considering network environments that have burst and location-dependent channel errors, our proposed WDPS(Wireless Delay Proportional Service) scheduling algorithm adaptively serves packets in class queues based on the delivered delay performance for each class. The remarkable characteristics of WDPS scheduler are supporting a fair relative delay service, providing graceful throughput and delay compensation, and avoiding class queue blocking problem. Through simulations, we show that the algorithm achieves the desirable properties to provide delay proportional services in wireless networks.

An overview and analysis of commercial document delivery systems (국내외 상업적 문헌제공시스템의 현황파악과 비교분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to overview and analyze the commercial document delivery systems. to this end, the study first compared the current systems under three headings, that is, non-collection-based systems(Infotrieve, OCLC, UnCover, BIDS, Swets & Zeitlinger, Kyobobook), collection-based systems(EBSCO, ISI, UMI, BLDSC, CISTI, INIST, NCSI, JICST, KINITI), and specialized collection-based systems(Engineering Information Inc., IEEE/IEE, BIOSIS, CAS, NAL, RSC, TWI, ADONIS). Next, the study analyzeed the advantages and disadvantages of each system, based on the four performance criteria : scope of inventory/journal coverage, turnaround time, delivery ost and payment options, reliability and satisfaction rate.

  • Serials subscription prices continue to escalate but university library budgets of those have not grown concurrently at the same rate. In fact, library budgets of serials subscription have decreased as a percentage of total library expenditure. Also titles with little or no use should be cancelled to make room for new serials that might be needed to reflect new research interests or changes in curriculum. This study includes overview of the serials cancellation and substitute solutions for subscriptions in university library. Taking into account costs and coverages, availability of cancelled serials through interlibrary loan is high in general. There is a potential for considerable savings by providing access to low-use titles, and that is a combination of commercial document delivery and pay per view based on e-business could be a viable alternative to subscription in many cases.

  • As economic activities decrease, and the stock market decline due to COVID-19, many people are jumping into stock investment as an alternative source of income. As people's interest increases, many stock price analysis studies are underway to earn more profits. Due to the variance observed in the stock markets, it is necessary to analyze each stock independently and consistently. To solve this problem, we designed and implemented models and services that analyze stock prices using a reinforcement learning technique called Asynchronous Advantage Actor-Critic(A3C). Stock market data reflected external factors such as government bonds and KOSPI (Korea Composite Stock Price Index) as well as stock prices. Our proposed work provides a web service with a visual representation of predictions of stocks and stock information through which directions are given to investors to make safe investments without analyzing domestic and foreign stock market trends.

  • To provede public services through Internet, there are several prerequisites such as security issue resolutions for public area installation and hardware support for authorized signatures etc. in addition to web-based system development. A kiosk-based system is a right solution for public services provision through Internet because a kiosk has hardware features supporting authorized signatures and also it can be installed at public area through Internet without security exposure, meeting security guidelines of National Intelligence Service. The process to provide public services through a koisk is that a client requests a kind of public services selecting menu through the kiosk, then the system issues a civil service documents after taking authentification and payment process. To support those kinds o processes it is required to support electronic payment using SMART card in addition to cash payment and to apply government standard security guidelines to protect administrative and personal information. This kiosk-based Internet public service system support and meet those all requirements.

A Study on Efficient ID-based Partially Blind Signature (효율적인 ID 기반 부분은닉서명에 관한 연구)

  • Partially blind signature scheme allows the signer to insert non-removable common information into his blind signature. Blind signatures providing with both users privacy and data authenticity are one of key parts of information systems, such anonymous electronic cash and electronic voting as typical examples. Partially blind signature, with which all expired e-cash but for still-alive can be removed from the banks database, copes well with the problem of unlimited growth of the banks' database in an electronic cash system. In this paper we propose an efficient ID-based partially blind signature scheme using the Weil-pairing on Gap Diffie-Hellman group. The security of our scheme relies on the hardness of Computational Diffie-Hellman Problem. The proposed scheme provides higher efficiency than existing partially blind signature schemes by using three-pass protocol between two participants, the signer and requesters also by reducing the computation load. Thus it can be efficiently used in wireless environment.

ATM망에서 프레임 릴레이망을 근간으로한 기업통신망의 수용기술

  • 프레임 릴레이망을 백본으로 한 LAN과 LAN접속으로 형성되는 기업통신망이 현재 활발히 전개되면서 인터넷을 통한 광고, 전자거래가 중요한 서비스로 진행되고 있다. 국내의 프레임 릴레이 서비스 현황을 살펴보면 KT, 데이콤, 일부기업등에서 프레임 릴레이 교환기를 수입하여 주고객인 기업에 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이들은 사용자 요구에 의해 주로 LAN과 LAN에 접속된 라우터 등의 종단 시스템간 PVC(영구가상회선: Permanant Virtual Circuit)접속을 통하여 다양한 서비스를 제공하면서 독자적인 기업통신체계를 구축하고 있는 실정이다. 이와같이 사용자 요구로 PVC등록시 프레임 릴레이망과 LAN을 연결하는 링크의 QoS(서비스 질: Quality of Service), 트래픽 파라메터는 수동적으로 설정된다. 현재 국내에서는 프레임 릴레이 교환기 개발은 전무하고 단지 그들을 수입하여 운용하는 수준이며 향후 ATM(비동기 전달모드: Asynchronous Transfer Mode)망의 중요 서비스 연동이 될 프레임 릴레이 기술은 심도있게 연구되고 있다. 향후 고속통신을 제공하는 백본망은 기존의 프레임 릴레이망과 ATM망이 공존할 추세이며 점진적으로 프레임 릴레이망은 사라질 것이다. 이때 ATM 망이 기존의 프레임 릴레이망을 백본으로 한 기업통신망 수용시 원할한 서비스 제공을 위해서는 프레임 릴레이망을 백본으로 채택한 기존의 기업통신망을 ATM망에서 수용시 야기되는 문제점의 제시와 이의 해결은 매우 중요하다고 생각된다. FR/ATM(Frame Relay/ATM)연동시 기업통신망 입장에서는 PVC뿐만 아니라 SVC(교환가상회선: Switched Virtual Circuit)호처리가 수용되어야 한다. 이와같이 PVC와 SVC 수용으로 기업통신망은 통신망의 구성 및 관리가 복잡, 다양해지며, 또 그 기업은 관련된 다양하고 수많은 고객과 접속될 수 있어야 한다. 이때 ATM망을 백본으로 한 공중망이 관련 기업의 사설 정보를 관리하도록 한다는 것은 그 서비스의 이용자에게 보안문제를 제기함은 물론 서비스 이용자가 자신의 망에서 동작하는 여러 서비스를 고객 스스로가 관리하는 것이 바람직하다. CNN(고객망관리 : Customer Network Management)은 이러한 고객에 의한 통신망, 공중망에 대한 부분적 관리 및 서비스에 대한 관리가 이루어 질수 있도록 수행하는 기능이다. 본 논문에서는 ATM망이나 프레임 릴레이망과 ATM 망이 공존시 기업통신망관점에서 야기되는 문제점의 제시와 이의 해결 방안을 살펴보았다. 우선 FR/ATM 연동에서 PVC설정뿐만 아니라 SVC 설정 방법의 연구, 이때 고려된 QoS,트래픽 처리과정을 살펴보았다. 또한 망관리 입장에서 기업통신망 관리자와 ATM망 관리자와의 온-라인 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 변화된 통신망 차원서의 확장된 Managed Object(MO)를 근간으로한 체계적인 CNN-NMS(CNM-Network management System)연동을 살펴본후 결론에서는 추후 계속연구 및 조사 되어야 할 항목을 기업통신망 입장에서 서술하여 보았다.
