Characteristics Analysis of RPV and AFD for Anti-Islanding in Active Method (단독운전방지를 위한 능동 방식 중 AFD 및 RPV에 대한 특성해석)

  • To detect islanding mode when the grid is being tripped is a major safety issue in the Utility Interactive Photo Voltaic (UIPV) system. In this paper, analytical design method is suggested for AFD & RPV method under IEEE 929-2000 recommended islanding test condition. We have discussed that there is a same point. we injected reactive component of the current by AFD & RPV methods, but the current reference generated is other waveform. Possible if amount of reactive components in this methods are same each method, there is happened same rates frequency variation. To verify the validity of the analytical comparison, this paper presents simulation and experimental results from single phase, 3[kW] inverter for the transformerless UIPV system.

  • In this paper, we installed three high brightness red, green, and blue LED in one socket and made one pixel unit. And we also developed the full-color display board module and control unit which can express various images such as text, graphics, video image with the combination of pixel units and a number of modules. LED display driver module have a driver circuit within the combination of the RGB pixel dot on unit area. These modules of the existing form can be high priced because of implementation a fixed resolution in specific space and installation space. To overcome these shortcomings, we developed a LED driver and LED pixel modules free in array at random pitch intervals. Display board module of this paper enabled to display smoothly video image which have many data processing quantity through dragging data speed up 36 frames per second. Also there are an effect which is provided more clear image because of improving the flickering of the existing display board.

  • In this paper, after inputting the computer with the attached number plate on the vehicle, using it, the color decomposition method and back propagation neural network proposed the extractable method of the vehicle number plate at high speed. This method separated R, G, B signal form input moving vehicle image to computer through video camera, then after transform this R, G, B signal into input image data of the computer by using color depth of vehicle number plate and store up binary value in the memory frame buffer. After adapting character's recognition algorithm, also improving this, by adapting back propagation neural network makes the vehicle number plate recognition system. Also minimalizing the similar color's confusion, adapting horizontal and vertical extracting algorithm by using the vehicle's rectangular architecture shows the extract and character's recognition of the vehicle number plate at high speed.

  • Recently, the use of DC power increased due to the increased use of digital load. Power factor of input current decrease and input current harmonics increase, and conversion loss which is occurred in the AC / DC converter is a problem to provide the proper DC voltage to the device equipped with an internal AC / DC converter. Hybrid system supplies the AC power and DC power to AC load (motor load and the transformer load) and DC loads (computers, TV, LED fluorescent light) at the same time it supplies the renewable energy and utility energy taken power from Utility to user for improving the efficiency and renewable energy improvements in ease of use. This paper studies DC characteristics of traditional AC load for Hybrid distributions.

  • This paper is a study on the production of mixedeality contents by realizing AR coloring technology, virtual environment, and VR devices by realizing the interaction in virtual environment. In this study, we designed and produced the content from a fairy tale called 'Cinderella' to produce and demonstrate real mixed reality contents. 'Cinderella' shows 3D modeling in the virtual space using the Oculus Rift, and the modeled shoes can be lifted using Leap-Motion. It is a virtual augmented interaction content for exhibition and experience that can move a specific range from the foot on the treadmill. In this paper, we try to share the experience of creating new mixed reality game contents, which is a mixture of augmented reality and virtual reality technology, and continuation of universal use of this field.

Semi-automatic Data Fusion Method for Spatial Datasets (공간 정보를 가지는 데이터셋의 준자동 융합 기법)

  • With the development of big data-related technologies, it has become possible to process vast amounts of data that could not be processed before. Accordingly, the establishment of an automated data selection and fusion process for the realization of big data-based services has become a necessity, not an option. In this paper, we propose an automation technique to create meaningful new information by fusing datasets containing spatial information. Firstly, the given datasets are embedded by using the Node2Vec model and the keywords of each dataset. Then, the semantic similarities among all of datasets are obtained by calculating the cosine similarity for the embedding vector of each pair of datasets. In addition, a person intervenes to select some candidate datasets with one or more spatial identifiers from among dataset pairs with a relatively higher similarity, and fuses the dataset pairs to visualize them. Through such semi-automatic data fusion processes, we show that significant fused information that cannot be obtained with a single dataset can be generated.

  • As industry and technology go through advancement, it is hard to search new materials which satisfy various standards through conventional trial-and-error based research methods. Crystal Graph Convolutional Neural Network(CGCNN) is a neural network which uses material's features as train data, and predicts the material properties(formation energy, bandgap, etc.) much faster than first-principles calculation. This report introduces how to train the CGCNN model which predicts the formation energy using open database. It is anticipated that with a simple programming skill, readers could construct a model using their data and purpose. Developing machine learning model for materials science is going to help researchers who should explore large chemical and structural space to discover materials efficiently.

  • Recently, as the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution approaches, IoT devices that emphasize portability are increasing. At the same time, battery usage is also increasing rapidly. With the rapid increase in battery usage, issues related to battery safety have become inevitable problems and many studies have been conducted. This paper deals with explosion issues caused by swelling among various battery issues, and includes research and development of a system that detects battery swelling by identifying resistance changes. The core technology of this study is to develop a system that frequently detects changes in the resistance of wires drawn on the battery through changes in volume that occur when the battery swelling, and uses the resistance changes to prevent battery explosion. In addition, through pattern analysis, it was analyzed how the wire should be constructed to cause a lot of resistance changes.

  • E-mail has been eidely used for unformation delivery as an Inernet serive. As multimedia etchnologies are developed rapidly, most of the recent Unternet infornation servies support multimedia data. E-mail system also needs to suport multimedia nesage. But Internet mail servise using simple maiol transfer protocol(SMTP) speci-fied in RFC 821/822 handles only ASCII text messages repressented with 7-bit code. Each line the message has the length limitation as well. Those are why it cannot satisfy the diverse user'w demands. Multipuepose Unternet mail extensions(MIMZE), which is a modification and supplement of RFC 822,was proposed for supporting transportation of multimedia data.It can solve the limitations of sizes and types in contents of a message. In this study the E-mail system has been designed and implemented according to the MIME standard in order to solve the limitations of transpotation of messages regardless of the message content type. Hypertext markup language(HTML)syntax is applied to the mail system, and so it is possible to display a message consisting of differnt media as an intergrated from for the purpose of better understanding a message. No application program is needed for displaying a message including image data,and convenience for user is considered in the system. The futuer work is to improve the E-mail system so that it may support motion pictures and sound information,Thereby tge perfor multimeda E-mail system providing inergrated user's wiew will be developed.

Identification of Antioxidative Components from Ethanol Extract of Rhus verniciflua STOKES (옻나무 에탄올 추출물로부터 항산화 활성 물질의 구조동정)

  • The free phenolic acid fraction of the chloroform extract from 75% ethanol extract of Rhus verniciflua STOKES (RCF) showed stronger antioxidative activity than BHT, BHA and ${\delta}-tocopherol$ at the same concentration. RCF components were isolated and identified by silica gel column chromatography, thin layer chromatography, mass spectrometer and $^1H-NMR\;and\;^{13}C-NMR$. The antioxidative activity was confirmed by electron donating activity, Rancimat method and thiobarbituric acid test in liposome system. RCF-11 could be further separated into three fractions. The antioxidative active compounds were purified and identified as gallic acid, butin and butein. The RCF-13 was purified and identified as sulfuretin.
