Image Restoration Algorithms by using Fisher Information (피셔 인포메이션을 이용한 영상 복원 알고리즘)

  • An object to reflect or emit light is captured by imaging system as distorted image due to various distortion. It is called image restoration that estimates original object by removing distortion. There are two categories in image restoration method. One is a deterministic method and the other is a stochastic method. In this paper, image restoration using Minimum Fisher Information(MFI), derived from B. Roy Frieden is proposed. In MFI restoration, experimental results to be made according to noise control parameter were investigated. And cross entropy(Kullback-Leibler entropy) was used as a standard measure of restoration accuracy, It is confirmed that restoration results using MFI have various roughness according to noise control parameter.

  • This paper presents implementation and control of a two wheeled mobile robot system which consists of two systems, an inverted pendulum system and a mobile robot system. Control purpose is to regulate its balancing and navigation. The balancing robot has advantages of one point turning and robust balancing against disturbances from the ground. Simulation studies of local and global control methods are performed. Since the robot is implemented to have a symmetrical structure, simple linear control algorithms are used for balancing and navigation. Low cost sensors such as gyro and tilt sensor are fused together to detect the inclined angle. Experimental studies of following desired circular trajectory are conducted.

  • People try to maintain optimal sleep activity to a changing attitude 20-30 times while sleeping 7-8 hours a day. In order to provide optimal sleep, we need to develop sensing device for apply effective various sleep data acquired through display device that can provide program and information which process and analyze information printed out from sensor and sensing system. In this paper, we analyze sleep pattern to detect the toss and turn while a person's sleeping and we develop a wellness pillow that can be active on sleep health management based on the analyzed data for sleep patterns.

  • In this paper, microstrip antenna to enhance the isolation between transmitting port and receiving port under the proximity objects is proposed, and applied to the Doppler radar sensor working at 5.8GHz ISM band which detects vital signals of a human body. Two 3dB quadrature hybrids are placed around radiation patch to form a balanced structure between transmitting port and receiving port, such that it consistently provides enhanced Tx/Rx isolation and excellent return loss over nearby objects. It is theoretically analyzed and simulated to verify the validity of the proposed application. The fabricated antenna that is 2mm away from the human body, has more than 16 dB return loss and at least 30dB isolation over ISM frequency band of 5.8GHz.

  • 본 논문은 스크린 프린트 방식을 이용하여 두께 $18{\mu}m$의 ZnS:(Cu,Al) 필름을 제조하여 미세구조와 결정성을 분석하고 형광체로써의 특성을 평가하였다. 영상획득에는 포항 가속기 연구소의 싱크로트론을 이용하였으며 CMOS 영상 센서를 사용하여 DR의 간접방식을 구현하였다. 특성 평가를 위해 SEM 측정, 발광 강도 측정을 하였고, 단색광(Beam size $5mm{\times}2mm$)을 사용하여 test phantom 영상과 물고기 영상을 획득하였다. 획득한 영상의 평가를 위해서 test phantom 영상의 MTF 측정을 하였다 제조된 ZnS:(Cu,Al) 필름의 표면은 육방정계 구조를 가졌으며, 5lp/mm는 73.8%, 10lp/mm는 38.9%, 15lp/mm는 15.4%, 20lp/mm는 12.2%의 MTF를 가졌다. 물고기 영상을 통하여 ZnS:(Cu,Al) 필름을 이용한 고해상도 미세구조영상 획득의 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • 일반적으로 시스템 인식과 제어에 이용하는 다층 신경회로망은 기존의 역전파 알고리즘을 이용한다. 그러나 결선강도에 대한 오차의 기울기를 구하는 방법이기 때문에 국부적 최소점에 빠지기 쉽고, 수렴속도가 매우 늦으며 초기 결선강도 값들이나 학습계수에 민감하게 반응한다. 이와 같은 단점을 개선하기 위하여 확장된 칼만 필터링 기법을 역전파 알고리즘에 결합하였으나 계산상의 복잡성 때문에 망의 크기가 증가하면 실제 적용할 수 없다. 최근 신경회로망을 선형과 비선형 구간으로 구분하고 칼만 필터링 기법을 도입하여 수렴속도를 빠르게 하고 초기 결선강도 값에 크게 영향을 받지 않도록 개선하였으나, 여전히 은닉층의 선형 오차값을 역전파 알고리즘에 의해서 계산하기 때문에 학습계수에 민감하다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 위에서 언급한 기존의 신경회로망 알고리즘의 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 은닉층의 목표값을 최적기법에 의하여 직접계산하고 각각의 결선강도 값은 반복최소 자승법으로 온라인 학습하는 알고리즘을 제안하고 이들 신경회로망 알고리즘과 비교하고자 한다. 여러 가지 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 제안된 방법이 초기 결선강도에 크게 영향을 받지 않으며, 기존의 학습계수 선정에 따른 문제점을 해결함으로써 신경회로망 모델에 기초한 실시간 제어기 설계에 응용할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한, 유도전동기의 속도추정과 제어에 적용하여 좋은 결과를 보였다.

  • This paper proposes an automatic door system which improves the safety of conventional automatic door systems by complementing the external safety sensors. Disturbance observer using the model of automatic door system and neural network is designed. The proposed algorithm compares the observed disturbance with the output of neural network. Experimental results are presented to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed control strategy. The proposed strategy is expected to improve the safety of an automatic door system.

A Study on the Current Sensor Using an Optical Modulator with BSO (BSO와 ZnSe를 광 변조기로 이용한 전류센서에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, a magneto-optic modulator has been designed by using single crystal BSO and polycrystal ZnSe as Faraday cells. And practical core-type optical current sensors using pure iron and permalloy have been prepared and experimented. In order to obtain efficient magnetic field detection, LED(NEC OD08358, 0.87 $\mu$m) was used as optical source, PIN-PD(OD-8454)as optical receiver and multi-mode optical fiber (100/140$\mu$m) as transmission line. The characteristics matrix of the optical element was calculated by Stokes parameter, and optic modulation characteristics equations were derived by Muller matrix. Electromagnetic analysis program (FLUX 2D, micro VAX 3600) by finite element method was used to find the magnetic flux density around the core. The measuring error of the output voltage to input current has been masured below 5% in the range of 50A to 1000A. As the temperature was changed from -20$^{\circ}C$ to 60$^{\circ}C$, the maximum measurement error of the optical output has been found to be 0.5% at 60$^{\circ}C$. These experimental results show good temperature and linearity characteristics. The SNR of the overall system was 47dB in case of 600A (250.2 Oe) conductor current and the system has good noise immunity.

  • In this paper, we propose intelligent SAN(Ship Area Network) which is reliable transmission by integration of optical network of wire communication and Zigbee of wireless communication. We also implement module for remote control and constitute, managing for a various sensors and a controllers which are connected SAN integration network It will be help to prevent accident of ship to monitor work environment, real time monitoring of a equipment and main compartment of a poor ship inside. And it will be also available to enhance labor reduction, sailing safety and sailing economical efficiency of ship inside.

Development of automatic illumination controller for energy saving (에너지 절약형 자동조명 장치 개발)

  • The auto-illumination controller for office, residence, and so on was studied. The system consists of parts of a power supply, a signal oscillator, a lamp controller and two kinds of sensor. The lamp controller has two thyristors triggered by the IR sensor(SCRI) and CdS sensor(SCR2) respectively, When the illuminance around this system is higher than operating value of its sensor, lamp is turned off automatically. Otherwise, the light of lamp gets dim by CdS sensor. In case IR sensor senses the body heat of people around itself, the illuminance of the lamp gets maximum. The illuminance of the lamp can be changed dimmly by control of the variable resistor (RV) connected with SCR2 in series. The turning - on time of the lamp can be also controlled using a variable resistor(Rt) connected with a signal oscillator in parallel. Changing resistance Rt changes the time constant(.tau.), which triggers the gate of SCR2. Though people left the surrounding of lamp, the lamp keeps light for a while.
