  • 질적 양적 성장을 해온 양계산업이 최근에는 계분처리 등 악취문제로 인한 민원발생과 각종 소모성 및 전염성 질병으로 이중고를 겪고 있다. 이에, 주식회사 대자연(사장 신왕기, 이하 대자연)은 15년간의 연구 끝에 고전압과 특수합금을 활용한 고전압 미네랄이온활성수로 악취문제와 세균을 한방에 해결할 수 있는 시스템을 개발했다. 무독성으로 2차 오염물질을 생성하지 않고 세균이나 악취물질을 세정하거나 흡착시키는 임시방편적인 방법이 아니라 세균과 악취물질자체의 분자화학 결합을 깨트려 분해하는 근본적인 문제해결방법으로 음수로 먹이거나 분무로 뿌려주면 된다. 이번호에는 대자연을 소개코자 한다.

Pro-inflammatory Cytokine Production Inhibitory Effects of Frankincence in Murine Macrophage (마우스의 대식세포에서 프랑킨센스의 염증성 사이토카인 분비 억제작용)

  • This study aims to demonstrate the inhibitory effect of proinflammatory cytokines by using Frankinsense. The present data was designed to determine the production of the frankincence on pro-inflammatory factors such as $TNF-{\alpha}$ and $IL-1{\beta}$ in lipopolysaccharide(LPS) stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages cell. The cell toxicity was identified by CellTiter 96 AQueous One solution cell proliferation assay. To evaluate of anti-inflammatory effect of frankincence, pro-inflammatory cytokines were measured by ELISA kit. As a result, the frankincence reduced NO and $TNF-{\alpha}$ production without cytotoxicity. As a result, Francincense was not cytotoxic at 10 ug / ml-1000 ug / ml and significantly inhibited the proinflammatory cytokines $TNF-{\alpha}$ and $IL-1{\beta}$. The secretion inhibition effect of proinflammatory cytokine is believed to be applicable to various physiological activity data and functional materials to demonstrate the anti - inflammatory properties of frankincense.

Knowledge and Management of Children with Infectious Diseases by Daycare Facility Teachers (보육교사의 전염성 질환에 대한 지식 및 전염성 질환 아동 관리 실태)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the knowledge of infectious diseases and the management of children with infectious diseases among daycare facility teachers. Methods: This study was based on survey questionnaires completed by 122 day care facility teachers from 36 daycare center sin one district in Seoul. Results: Seventy three (72.8%) of the participating daycare facility teachers had not received infectious disease prevention education. They recognized that they did not have enough knowledge of infectious diseases. The average knowledge level of infectious diseases was scored as 9.30 on a 0-30 scale, with 0 representing no knowledge and 30 expert knowledge, and compliance level of management of children with infectious diseases was scored as 4.29 on a 0-16 scale, with 0 present no compliance and 16 representing total compliance Confidence of management of children with infectious diseases (r=0.24, p=.031) and the compliance level of management (r=0.35, p=.001) were higher with increased knowledge of infectious diseases. Conclusions: Daycare facility teacher scan lack sufficient knowledge about b infectious diseases. The education about infectious diseases and management of children with infectious diseases is indispensable to prevent trans mission of infectious diseases in daycare facilities.

  • 4231년 농림부산림국에서 송충구제책으로 경기도 임업시험장에서 인공배양한 No.7호균외 수종을 사용할 계획인바 비에 대한 임업시험장 시험보고에 의하면 핵균은 송충에 대하여 맹독성이지마는 잠아에 대하여서는 기독성이 경미하다는 보고 이였으므로 양잠가에 대한 의문을 풀기 위하여 송충 및 잠아에 대한 전염성의 강약을 비교 시험하여 그 독성정도를 구명코저 함. 1. 경기도 임업시험장 연구보고 제1호에 기재된 No.7 호균의 시험성적과 본시험성적과를 대조하면 그 이병률은 일정한 경향을 표시치 않으며 다소 상치된 결과이었다. 즉 별표에 의하면 송충은 72~100% 잠아에 있어서는 4289년도에 0~2% 4290년도이 0~20%였으나 본시험결과 (표 1,2,3)는 송충은 표준구에 6.6% 처리구에 13.3~20%이고 잠아는 5~50%의 이병률이였다. 따라서 송충에는 그 감염도가 높으며 잠아는 그 감염도자 낮다고하는 근거를 인정키 난하다. 2. 본시험에 공시된 접종균 No.7호균은 경기도 임업시험장에서 호칭하는 황황강균(Insarica farinosa)이 었으나 핵균 배양시에 이균이 침입된 관계인지는 모르나 본시험에서 폐사를 검정한 결과 백강균(Botrytis Bassiana)이였다. 따라서 No.7호균에 대한 순도가 의심되며 시험결과의 정확을 기할수가없었다. 3. 경기도 임업시험장연구보고 제1호에 접수된 양년간시검성적에 의하면 경화병균 28종중 가장 이병률이 낮다고하는 No.7호균이 본시험결과에서 잠아에 5~50%의 이병률을 나타내는것으로 보아 소위 경기도 임업시험장에서 순수분리한 균은 어느것이라도 송충에 접종하여 산지에 산포하면 그 균이 중간기생 (인교목, 직교목)을 통하여 야생화되어서 더욱 잠아에 대한 전염력을 강렬하게됨으로 양잠상 위험할것이다. 일본의 소산씨 문헌(경기도 임업시험장도서관)에 의하면 야생혼충에서 전염되는 경화병균의 독성은 잠아에 대하여 강력하다는 점과 $\ulcorner$잠업지조선$\lrcorner$제11호에 전라남도 원잠종제조소 강본태대랑씨의 시험성적(참고문헌)이 이를 여실히 입증하는 바이다.   • Avian infectious bronchitis virus(IBV) was propagated in SPF eggs and purified by sucrose density gradient centrifugation in order to prepare the antigen. Several fusions were made between mouse myeloma cells and spleen cells from BALB/c mouse immunized with IBV antigen and two hybridoma clones producing specific monoclonal antibody(MCA) against the IBV were established. The MCAs were classified as IgG type and revealed no neutralizing and hemagglutination inhibition activity. Using the MCA IBV antigen was detected by IFA method in tracheal smears made from chickens infected with IBV during the experimental period of 10 days.

Infectious Bursal Disease-A Review (전염성 훼브리셔스낭병)

  • Infectious bursal disease, so called Gumboro disease, is found world-wide in areas of intensive poultry farming. The clinical signs of the disease are very indicative, but most infections occur unnoticed due to the age of infection of chicken as well as the degree of virulence of virus affected. Edematous and hemorrhagic lesions in BF at early course of infection and the complete atrophies of BF in later are the most characteristic. The infection is considered highly contagious by direct contact, by fecal material and by contaminated feed and water. The virus is also highly resistant in environment and belongs to Diploma virus with size of 55 to 60nm of Ribovirus group. IBDV grows in embryos, embryonic cells and BF of susceptible chickens. Immune-diffusion using agar gel is the method of a choice to determine IBDV infection in chickens. Maternal immunity is very effective in protecting chickens of critical age when IBDV infection severely damages the function of BF. Immunosuppressive effect of IBDV causes more production losses than direct effects of clinical disease of IBD. Inclusion body hepatitis, infectious anemia and gangrenous dermatitis syndrome are the disease associated with the immunosuppressive condition of chickens.

Changes of maternal antibodies in chicks vaccinated to breeder against infectious bronchitis, infectious Bursal disease, and Newcastle disease virus (모계의 전염성기관지염, 전염성 F낭병 및 뉴캣슬병 백신투여에 따른 모체이행 항체의 변동)

  • Serum samples collected from 30 breeders and their progeny 30 chicks. The antibodies against infectious bronchitis(IB), infectious bursal disease (IBD) and Newcastle disease(ND) viruses were detected by ELISA using commercial ELISA kit. The breeders were vaccinated against IB, IBD and ND viruses according to general vaccination program. Geometric mean titers(GMT) of ELISA were monitored from 1-day old to 17-day old chicks and compared with breeder chickens. The GMT of ELISA to IB, IBD and ND were declined half level of the breeder antibody titer at 6-, 8- and 7-day old. And, the GMT of ELISA to IB, IBD and ND were declined than that of protective titer at 6-, 1-, and 4-day old. Thereafter, the GMT of ELISA was declined and disappeared according to ages of chicks. Taken together, this study led to conclusion that time-course of maternal antibody titers of chicks from vaccinated breeders, and this is very important data for vaccination to chicks.
