This study was to segment The 2014 Korean Medicine-Bio Fair visitors based on fair quality factors. From the on-site survey at the destination, a total of 308 useful sample were collected and analyzed in SPSS 21.0. From factor analysis, the result shows 5 quality types of 'fair product', 'convenient facilities', 'accessibility', 'promotional information' and 'contents.' Also Three different segmented groups were derived form clusters analysis, which are 'accessibility preference group', 'promotion preference group', and 'high quality preference group.' The result of this study indicated that there were significant differences in demographic, satisfaction and behavioral variables between these three segments. More theoretical and practical implication were discussed in the conclusion section.

Cheoungju International Craft Biennale is not just an art exhibition but more like a pubic festival which is including an experiential learning and a public participation section as well as a special exhibition and an international competition section. Thus it is strongly required to present an appropriate meaning and mood corresponding to each exhibition hall. The paper has examined the exhibition topics during the last 10 years and the plannings and contents to install the exhibition hall according the yearly topic and it has analyzed the comprehensive evaluations after the exhibition. The research scope is limited to the part related to the exhibition hall and facilities, which is including calculation of dimensions and layout, access and movement system, the appropriateness of the design and construction period, measure of applied technology appropriateness, post management as well as planning intent, estimation of the number of the visitors, preliminaries. With the results shown in the comprehensive evaluation and analysis, the paper has presented two issues, the one related to the procensure and preparation and the other related to the facilities. It is showed that both problems are due to the lack of expertise and it is necessary for the experts to participate from the first step of the procedure including planning for the successful exhibition. For the appropriate exhibition hall corresponding to the exhibition planning and scale, it is required to have the professional considerations of successful space and visitor's movement management, display environment, construction method, and post management. The study presents that architectural and interior design have to take an active part in constructing exhibition design in overall stage including the initial, practice, and evaluation stage.

한국원자력안전기술원은 최근 가압경수로형 원자로에서 발생하는 잔열제거펌프의 정지사고를 예방하는 방법을 개발하였다. 이 연구개발은 가압경수로형 원자로의 부분충수운전시 운전의 안전성을 위하여 냉각수의 최대 허용수위를 높이고 최저 요구수위를 낮출 수 있는 방안으로서, 우회유로를 이용한 획기적인 부분충수운전 개선방안이다. 한국원자력안전기술원은 이의 개발과 함께 미국 특허를 취득하였는데, 이는 외국의 기술을 받아들이면서 그의 문제점을 파악하여 해결책을 제시함으로써 국내 원전 관련 기술능력을 크게 제고시킨 것으로 평가된다.

식기세척기를 소비자에게 인식시킬 수 있는 제품 Concept와 많은 소비자들이 선택할 수 있는 제품의 개발을 위한 설계요소의 추출을 동시에 얻고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 많은 계층의 소비자와 매장 조사 등 다양한 조사를 실시하였고 사용 여부, 소득 수준, 연령별, 직업별 등으로 실험대상자를 선정하여 감성실험을 통한 설계요소를 얻고자 하였다.

국산 1호 비행기 "부활호"는 46년 전 휴전협정에 막바지로 접어들 때 당시 필자가 출강하던 서울공대 항공공학과 학생들의 참여로 탄생했다. 그러나 이 "부활호"는 필자가 11개월의 미국 유학을 마치고 돌아와보니 행방불명이 되었는데 나중에 알아보니 미 공군 군사고문단에서 시험평가를 하기 위해 미국 본토로 가져갔다는 것이다. 우리 손으로 만든 국산1호 비행기가 그 실체는 없어졌지만 다행히 최근에 공군에서 실물대로 복원, 공군사관학교 박물관에 전시하고 있다.

(사)한국포장기술사회가 국내에서 선보인 포장제품 중 최고의 제품을 선정하는 '2007년 10대 우수포장' 시상식이 열렸다. 3회째를 맞는 '2007 10대 우수포장'에는 55개사 87개 제품이 출품되어 경합을 벌인 결과, 10개의 10대 우수포장과 9개의 특별상이 선정됐다. 올해 10대 우수포장에 선정된 제품들은 환경친화성을 추구하면서도 경제성을 갖추고 있을 뿐만 아니라 사용자가 쉽게 취급할 수 있는 사용성의 변화, 물류비 절감형 포장 등의 면모를 보여줬다는 평가를 받고 있다. 본 고에서는 2007년 10대 우수포장 수상 제품들의 패키지를 살펴본다.

Based on extraction items derived from previous related studies on viewing experiences in art museums, this study is conducted to investigate extraction factors that affect viewing satisfactions and to suggest a guideline for an effective viewing environment by clarifying a hierarchy among the extraction factors. For this study, a survey was given to museum visitors, and statistical analyses were conducted on data obtained from the survey. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1. From an analysis of extraction items that affect overall viewing satisfaction, space and art works were found to be relatively satisfactory. 2. From correlation analyses of extraction items, a degree of concentration on art works was found to most 'affect the viewing satisfactions of art museums. 3. From factor analyses, extraction items were reduced to 11 extraction factors, and a simple extraction structure affecting the viewing satisfactions in art museums. 4. From multiple regression analyses, a extraction factors were derived, and a relative hierarchy among the factors was found.

Most preceding studies on museum lighting have focused mainly on illuminance, however this study examines diverse lighting characteristics, including illuminance, luminance, color temperature, and color rendering to allow a more objective evaluation of museum lighting. In particular, issues with existing museum lighting were examined through visual measurement to find an appropriate condition complying with museum lighting standards while providing a pleasant lighting experience for visitors. Although the top priority of museum lighting is to safely protect collections on display, lighting that takes into consideration luminance, color temperature and color randition will allow more effective appreciation as well as safe conservation of the exhibits.

In order to increase visitors' viewing satisfaction and viewing behavior in the art museum exhibit by flat works, it is necessary to analyze the characteristics of major evaluation factors, such as 'the number of artworks and their intervals', 'the space of exhibition and the size of walls', and 'compositional change of exhibition spaces', which have a close relationship with each evaluation factors, by focusing on artworks and exhibition space. Thus, to investigate how the characteristic differences of the major evaluation factors in art museums affect visitors' viewing satisfaction and viewing behavior, this study compared the related analytical indicators, and conducted a correlation analysis. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First, the degree of concentration on artworks (which has been selected as a collective assessment indicator of visitors' satisfaction) increased when the exhibition space of art museum is display by less artworks and they have big interval in the large wall. Second, visitors' viewing satisfaction and qualitative viewing behavior increased when the exhibition space of art museum are simple and they change to simpler step by step. These findings imply that there is a high correlation between visitors' visio-perceptual experiences and viewing behavior, and that visitors' viewing satisfaction and viewing behavior can be predicted partially in the certain exhibition environment from this correlation.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how much the programs of astronomy museums reflect the contents and objectives of current science curriculums. To attain the aim, comparison and analysis on the museum programs and science curriclum have been made. Five domestic astronomy museums have been selected. The contents and forms of their programs have been studied and appreciated by assessment instruments for astronomy museum programs. The assessment instruments were devised in consideration of both the science curriculums of the Ministry of Education(1997) and the achievement and evaluation criteria of the Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation. The findings of this study are summarized as follows: The astronomy museums reflect most of the learning elements of science curricula concerning astronomy. These results indicate that the astronomy museum as an informal education institute is comparatively well connected to science education. The 5thgrade science curriculum reflected mostly on the museum programs, and too many of the astronomy museum programs were in forms of panel exhibition. Science curricula fared well but they failed to reflect the curricular objectives, which resulted in relatively low assessment scores. It is suggested that the findings of this study can be a foundation and act as guidance for selecting and developing astronomy museum programs which include the contents of the science curriculums more substantially.
