A Study of the National Hangeul Museum for the Foreign Audience : Comparison by major nationality(United State·Japanese·Chinese) (국립한글박물관 외래관람객 방문행태간 연관성 및 차이 분석: 주요 국적별(미·일·중) 외래관람객 비교)

  • This research was designed to seek and plan the foreign tourists visiting the National Hangeul Museum revitalization method; foreign tourists in this research refer to Japanese, Chinese and Americans tourists since they make up the big proportion of foreign tourists visiting the National Hangeul Museum. This research was aimed to seek the visiting revitalization method through correlation analysis among: foreign tourists' visiting purpose, requested improvement on exhibition facility and service, satisfaction level on exhibited contents and service quality, overall satisfaction level on viewing exhibition and behavior intention. As the result of research, tourists visiting purpose from three countries showed a difference; American and Japanese tourists picked 'guidance system in foreign language' while Chinese tourists picked 'experiment programs' as the most requested improvement on exhibition facility and service. Also, Tourist' satisfaction level on exhibited contents and service quality showed a difference among tourists from three countries; American tourists' satisfaction level was shown higher than that of Japanese and Chinese tourists. In addition, American tourists' overall satisfaction level on exhibition and behavior intention after viewing the exhibition in National Hangeul Museum tends to be higher than that of Japanese and Chinese tourists. Based on this research, visiting revitalization method to attract more foreign tourists to the National Hangeul Museum, such as contents development is suggested in the research.

Structural Causality between Service Quality, Emotional Response, Perceived Value and Satisfaction : focused on Yeosu Expo 2012 (여수세계박람회 서비스품질, 감정반응, 지각된 가치 및 만족 간 구조적 인과관계)

  • This research has analyzed the influence of Yeosu Expo's service quality on emotion, perceived value and satisfaction. First of all, the Yeosu Expo's service quality scale was composed with five types of levels : exhibition contents, quality of performance, human service, approach convenience and necessary expense. As the result of influence analysis, exhibition contents, quality of performance and necessary expense had significant influence on attendee's positive emotion. Exhibition contents, necessary expense and approach convenience to approach showed significant influence in perceived value, and necessary expense related to the expo had the highest influence among the three values. Also, the attendee's positive emotion and perceived value towards service from expo was analyzed to have satisfactorily significant influence.

  • Holding conventions and exhibitions are deemed as a highly valued-added services. The conventions and exhibitions industry (CEI) contributes to the development of the region in which the venues are located by creating jobs, boosting the local economics, attracting dollars and increasing tax incomes. At the same time, the international awareness of the region rises after holding an international exhibition or convention. This study investigated the effects of outsourcing services quality that employed by corporations organizing conventions and exhibitions on business performance and customer satisfaction of organizing corporations. It was found that many convention organizing corporations relied on outsourcing services for the most of the process. Given that the staff members of outsourcing companies serve as the major source of services for events, the quality of their services has much effects on the business results of hiring corporations. In this study, major factors influencing the service quality and the importance of the service quality were addressed. And the ideas for effective method for controlling the outsourcing sources were also suggested for hiring corporations and outsourcing companies.

The Influence of Service Quality of Festival Service Quality on Visitors' Emotion, Perceived Value and re-visit Intention -Focused on Goyang International Flower Exhibition Festival- (고양국제꽃박람회의 서비스품질이 참가자의 지각된 가치, 감정 및 재방문의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This research has analyzed the influence of Goyang Flower Exhibition Festival's service quality on emotion, perceived value, satisfaction, and re-visit intention. First of all, the service quality scale was composed with four factors : subsidiary service, exhibition contents, guidance service, space convenience. As the results of influence analysis, four factors had significant influence on attendee's perceived value and positive emotion respectively. Among those four factors, space convenience and guidance service showed high impact. Toward positive emotion. exhibition contents showed most influence while four factors are significantly related. Three factors of exhibition contents, guidance service, space convenience had significant effect on negative emotion. Also, positive emotion and perceived value was analyzed to have significant influence on re-visit intention.

  • The cultural contents are a field that originally has a cycle ranged from producers of various contents and distribution consumption. The various object elements composing of an ecosystem of cultural contents in this cycle, and the search of harmonious relations between these objects is becoming an important issue. The ecological approach on the cultural contents field is not being tried authentically until now, in spite of the expansion of interest and usefulness from its application at present, so there is no detailed discussion on the inside of an ecosystem and itsaction such as confirmation of object elements composing of the ecosystem, interaction principles between objects and object development, principles of co-evolution, etc. achieving common development of all objects composing of the ecosystem. Therefore, the present research aims to confirm object elements composing of the ecosystem of cultural contents through an ecosystem model that has been researched in several fields of the ecosystem and social science, and to seek interaction between objects and each object as well as a development direction of a total ecosystem.

Virtual Reality Based Cultural Tourist Attractions converging with Souvenir (수베니어를 융합한 가상현실 기반의 문화 관광지 가상체험 서비스)

  • This study offers the possibility as a new product of souvenirs from cultural tourist sites with virtual reality contents, instead of a simple exhibit. Users can watch augmented reality contents on souvenirs, and use the virtual experience service of cultural tourist sites with VR viewer. It has 4K-class high-quality $360^{\circ}$ image capture to increase the immersion of users in virtual space, implement virtual reality space and intuitive UI interaction with users using IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). It is also possible to apply various add-on functions, including 3D contents, through technical development to increase its marketability, and apply in other industries. In addition, the prototype of the souvenir and VR viewer will be made by using a 3D printer and such in order to apply the contents which will be introduced in this study. Various product expansions can be considered through consultation with the relevant companies for the use of ready-made products.

The Influence of Usage Intentions of Social Network Services in MICE Industry: Focused on the Gender Differences (MICE 산업의 SNS 이용의도에 미치는 영향: 성별차이를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the factors influencing usage intentions of Social Network Services (SNS) in MICE (Meeting, Incentive travel, Convention, and Exhibit and Event) and moderating effects of gender. This model tests various theoretical research hypotheses relating to MICE industry, SNS characteristics, and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The target population of this study is SNS users with MICE participation experience. The results of hypothesis testing are as follows. First, information provision, convenience, service quality and SNS usage experience positively influence attitudes toward SNS. Second, attitude positively influences usage intention of SNS. Finally, information provision and service quality to attitudes toward SNS for males are significantly large than those for females. Convenience and SNS usage experience to attitudes toward SNS for females are significantly large than those for males. And attitude to usage intention toward SNS for males are significantly large than those for females. The results of this study will provide various implications to improve usage intentions of SNS in MICE industry.

The Effects of Perceived Value, Overall Satisfaction, and Loyalty by the Service Quality of the Local Exhibition: Focused on The Goyang International Flower Exhibition (지역박람회의 서비스품질이 지각된 가치, 전반적 만족 및 충성도에 미치는 영향 -2018 고양국제꽃박람회를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence relationship of spectators' evaluation, perceived value, overall satisfaction, and loyalty on the service quality of Goyang International Flower Exhibition. As a result of analysis, first, it turned out that the higher the quality of the fair service, the higher the perceived value, overall satisfaction and loyalty. Especially, fair service quality showed a greater influence on overall satisfaction than on perceived value. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of the fair service, careful planning and operation of event content, accessibility, and convenience are required. Second, perceived value did not have a positive (+) effect on overall satisfaction, but it had a positive (+) effect on loyalty. The reason for this is that the spectators' evaluation of the perceived factors that can induce the interest of the flower product and the increase of the purchase, such as the quality problem of the product, the design problem, the exhibition and display problem, was low. Third, both perceived value and overall satisfaction had a positive (+) effect on loyalty, but the effect of overall satisfaction was greater than that of perceived value. Therefore, a strategy for enhancing the perceived value is required.
