  • Exhibition which was a boring and rigid image once has recently hold a place as an intimate culture to the public such that audiences can feel and participate in exhibition at first hand. Along with this, forms and directions of exhibition become diversified, and various attempts have been made. In addition, with such changes, ways of expressing exhibition contents become diversified as well and ways of inducing sensible and psychological expressions and experience are receiving attention rather than formal and physical expressions. This study aims to provide audiences with ways of being able to more effectively expressing exhibition contents, atmospheres, sensibility and so on by applying lights and colors to in expression of exhibition contents.

  • In this study, we propose an annotation system exhibits a secondary role using augmented reality in the exhibition environment. Common methods that utilize the description of the picture or photo booklet or audio device to the exhibition and in the form of viewing the exhibits while people describe method is used. We are using augmented reality technology, in addition to these conventional methods to provide a variety of information about the exhibits utilizing text, photos, video and audio of the multimedia medium. Where visitors can use a smart phone in hand deulgoseo, the exhibition becomes a secondary role by applying the Augmented Reality technology in tablet-based devices.

  • 국립현대미술관은 김중업건축박물관과 공동주최로 건축사 김중업을 조명하는 '김중업 다이얼로그'전을 8월 30일부터 12월 16일까지 국립현대미술관 과천 중앙홀과 2전시실에서 열고 있다. 그가 설계한 30여 년간의 건축물과 관련된 사진과 자료 3000여 점이 전시중이다. 전시는 학예연구사의 안목과 해석작업이 중요하다. 역사와 문화라는 재료를 요리하는 학예연구사의 안목에 따라 그 가치가 빛나거나 그 반대일 수 있는데, 이런 이유로 학예연구사는 전시기획에 대한 권한을 갖고 역사해석, 전시방법 선택 등을 하게 된다. 정다영 학예연구사는 2011년부터 국립현대미술관의 건축부문 학예연구사로 일해 왔다. 올해 베네치아 건축 비엔날레 한국관 공동 큐레이터로 참여해 '스테이트 아방가르드의 유령'전을 기획했으며, 이번 '김중업 다이얼로그'전도 그의 작품이다. 월간 '공간'에서 약 6년간 기자생활을 하고, 학예연구사의 길을 걷고 있는 그녀는 전시라는 매체를 통해 건축의 영역과 담론을 확장 증폭시켜 관계를 맺고 퍼트리는 어쩌면 당대 건축계에 가장 필요한 일을 해주고 있다.

An Empirical Study on the Effectiveness of the Exhibits in University Libraries (대학도서관의 전시에 대한 효과분석 - 이용자와 사서를 중심으로 -)

  • The exhibit programs of library are considered an effective and imporant mechanism to satisfy the demand for information of library users and to innovate a library image. Accordingly, the purpose of this paper is to investigate their recognitions as to how librarians and library users think of the effectiveness of the exhibition programs and as to how the programs exert an influence upon libraries. For research methodology, this research is randomly questionnaired to 360 library users and 90 librarians in July 1995. The collected data is analyzed by such statistical methods as frequency, crosstabs, T test and annova. The analysis shows that there are interesting research findings as follw; 1. The exhibition programs are appeared to be effective for education of library users. 2. The programs are appeared to be effective for increased use of library materials. 3. The programs are appeared to be effective for public relations. 4. The programs are appeared to be effective for collection development. 5. They are revealed to have academic values like academic articles. In sum, among the opinions of librarians, they indicate that the programs are very important in activating the functions of library. Therefore, university libraries should lavishly support the exhibition programs with enough budget and exhibition planners to manage.

  • Exhibit space is result that various kinds works of architecture design, interior design, plan and control of exhibit program, embodiment to display space, operation and administration etc. are formed accomplishing creation. Because exhibit space must consider interaction of value that is in dwelled along with the external form about human and exhibits. Therefore, display space of exhibition must achieve functional role that can accomplish communication with spectator as well as function as place that possess products of accumulative value. Therefore, we must establish effective communication plan by position and form of display space as well as properly of exhibits, display contents, exhibit program to achieve purpose of trade fair display. Display space of trade fair can be classed by wall style, corner style, head style, island style, two entrance style 5 according to the position. And we must plan communication plan by these position dividing the function to passive communication area, active communication area, intensive communication area, function achievement area. We will can grope contents and method for successful exhibit through communication plan that is connected form and position of exhibit between exhibit space of such trade fair and we may achieve purpose of trade fair display.

  • 현대의 전시는 관람객과의 소통에 기반을 둔 인터랙션(interaction) 장치를 사용하여 상호작용적인 기법을 많이 사용하고 있다. 이러한 인터랙티브(interactive) 전시는 관람객들을 유도하기 위한 다양한 어트랙티브 요소를 적용한다. 이 발표에서는 인터랙티브 전시에서의 어트랙티브(attractive) 요소들을 분석하여 장점과 단점을 파악해 보고, 보다 원활한고 용이한 관람객 유도방법들을 도출해 보고자 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 VRML 저작 툴을 이용한 3차원 가상 전시공간을 구성하여 보다 현실감 있고 상호작용적인 학습공간을 제공하고 학습동기를 유발하는 체험학습 공간을 설계하고 구현하는데 초점을 맞췄다. 본 연구에서는 Photo Vista, Object Modeler, Reality Studio 등을 가지고 Panorama Image와 3D Object 등을 구현하는 방법을 이용하였다. 우리는 이 가상 전시공간이 학생들의 미술교육에서 현실감 있는 작품감상으로 학생들의 심미적인 면에 얼마나 많은 영향을 미치는지를 연구하고자 한다.

A study on the Image Mapping of the Exhibition Environment (전시환경의 영상 맵핑에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, we propose a method for applying the image content to the exhibition space using projection mapping techniques. In a typical exhibition space, the artist exhibits works and displays them unilaterally and by using walls defined as screens. However, the new form of exhibition is not one-sided and changes in the way space is free from constraint. The purpose of the exhibition space is to use walls or various installations, which are elements of the exhibition space, as a key part of the exhibition rather than as a material for the spatial compartment. This type of display is a display element of space and you can enjoy the fun and excitement of the exhibition about the new environment. Various imaging techniques are required to construct an exhibition of images and spaces, among which edge blocking is not formed.

A Study on the Factors Affecting the Attitude and Behavioral Intention toward the Instagrammable Exhibition: A case study on <Yumi's Cell Special Exhibition>

  • The purpose of this study is to shed light on the relationship between perceived value(PV), attitude toward the exhibition(ATYCSE), and behavioral intention toward the exhibition(BITYCSE) through literature review and quantitative research, focusing on <Yumi's Cells Special Exhibition (2020)> as an Instagrammable exhibition. The exhibition has strong entertainment experience quality, and taking pictures has a positive correlation with the satisfaction as well as the immersion, while sharing the viewing experience on Instagram does not influence on the ATYCSE in terms of the PV. Satisfaction also has meaningful correlations with the immersion and the detail factors of BITYCSE. In particular, it can be confirmed that the storytelling factor occupied a superiority over the exhibit factors or the exhibition environment of the Instagram-friendly exhibition, and through this, the importance of storytelling was confirmed. This research unveils implications for the influence of the interactivity and participatory features of the Instagrammable exhibition on the ATYCSE as a potential factor of PV, and the importance of storytelling in Instagrammable exhibitions.

  • This study aims to propose the exhibition contents by utilizing the technique for 3D VR using the presidential archives that are provided on the web-site. Especially, this study proposed requirements and a method to develop exhibition contents based on 3D VR technique. To accomplish it, this study analyzed literature review and cases of the online exhibition in presidential archives and then classified contents to find out how to apply 3D VR for exhibition contents effectively. With the results of the analysis, this study selected the type of records and proposed the effective 3D VR model as displaying contents. Then, this study developed an implementation case.
