A study on the chronology of children's cartoon focused on the character (캐릭터 중심으로 본 어린이 만화연대기 연구)

  • This study analyzed the chronology of children's cartoon through character while the children's cartoon section is planned at the Memorial Exhibition of 100th year of Korean Cartoon which will be held at the Contemporary Art Gallery in celebration of the 100th year after birth of Korean Cartoon. The approaching method based on character is regarded as the most proper and feasible in the identification of character and meaning of children's cartoon because the character in cartoon contains the bigger role and meaning than the descriptive structure of narration. The Committee of 100th Year of Korean Cartoon, Aicheorum which is a study association for children's cartoon and Cartoon My Love $Cafe^{42)}$ in Naver jointly selected the 70 cartoon characters. A brief history is established based on these characters through chronological classification in seven sectors of around 10 year session such as before 1950s of quickening period and liberation, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1000s, 1900s and after 2000. It examined the historical meaning, its reflection and characteristics focused on the cartoon character and the cartoonist which were well-known to everybody not only the display according to chronological order. The study intented the stereoscopic illumination on the children's cartoon and character which were favored beyond the generations. In addition, the similarity and human relation among cartoonist to cartoonist and character to character were analyzed and traced to identity the fact that children cartoon character is not individualistic being but it lies on the extension of tradition and trend of eternal cartoon history Finally, hopefully it will make a contribution to activate the pure creative children's cartoon in Korea through reminding the importance of character in cartoon, affirming the industrial value and reflecting the direction and perspective of pure creative children's cartoon.

  • 지하수 개발가능량 산정을 위한 함양량의 평가는 수문계의 물리적인 형태나 함수층의 수리성 분석 및 수직인 지질분포를 파악하여 어떤 조건하에서 물이 유입 유출되는가를 파악한 후에만 가능하다. 또한 지하수계의 물리적인 형태를 이해함으로써 조사지역의 지표수계나 지하수계의 양계를 통해서 흐르는 물의 양을 결정짓는 물수지 분석이 수행되어야 한다. 이에 따라 강수량, 증발산량, 지하수 유출량, 지표유출량 그리고 하천유출량 등을 수문학적으로 고려해야만 한다. 본 연구는 지표수-지하수 결합모형을 도입하여 분포형 지하수 함양량의 시공간적인 변동성을 파악하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 지표수-지하수 결합모형인 SWAT-K모형을 미호천 유역에 적용하였으며, 지표수의 총유출량과 지하수위의 공간분포자료를 이용하여 검정과 검증을 수행하였다. 전체유역에 대한 연평균 함양량은 수문총량의 약 19%인 것으로 나타났다. 1999년${\sim}$2004년까지의 소유역별 연간 함양량 결과를 월별로 나타냈으며, HRU(Hydrologic Response Unit)별 함양량의 공간분포를 통해 월별, 계절별 특성을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 소유역 모두 강수가 집중하는 7-9월에 걸쳐 많은 함양이 이루어지며 $1{\sim}3$월에는 상대적으로 함양이 적은 것을 볼 수 있다. 월함양량의 경우 최대 약200mm범위내에서 유역의 토지이용 및 토양특성, 경사등에 따라 매우 비균질하게 분포하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와같은 함양량의 시공간적 불균일성으로 인해 지하수 관리방안은 소유역별 함양특성을 반영해야 할 것으로 판단된다.의 종분산지수가 일반적인 자연대수층에 비해 9.1배 정도 높다는 것을 의미한다. 이는 시험대수층의 투수성이 매우 높아 염소이온의 용질이송이 매우 빠르게 발생되었기 때문이다. 본 연구에서 추정된 종분산지수를 Gelhar et al.(1992)의 연구 결과와 비교 분석한 결과에서도 시험규모에 비해 매우 높은 수리분산이 발생된 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 염소이온의 확산면적을 추정하기 위해, 수렴흐름 추적자시험에 의한 종분산지수와 시험대수층의 평균선형유속을 이용하여 종분산계수를 구하였다. 현장에서 수행된 양수시험에 의한 평균선형유속 22.44 m/day와 평균 종분산지수 0.4155 m를 적용하여 산정된 종분산계수는 $9.32\;m^2/day$이었다. 따라서, 시험부지 내 충적층에서 일정한 양수율$(2,500\;m^3/day)$로 지하수를 개발할 시에 양수정 주변지역으로 유입되는 염소이온의 확산면적은 1일 $9.32\;m^2$ 정도일 것으로 나타났다.적인 $OH{\cdot}$ 의 생성은 ascorbate가 조직손상에 관여할 가능성을 시사하였다.었다. 정확한 예측치를 얻기 위하여 불균질 조직이 조사야에 포함되는 경우 보정이 요구되며, 골반의 경우 골 조직의 보정이 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 이를 위하여 불균질 조직에 대한 정확한 정보가 요구되며, 이는 CT 영상을 이용하는 것이 크게 도움이 되리라 생각된다.전시 슬러지층과 상등액의 온도차를 측정하여 대사열량의 발생량을 측정하고 슬러지의 활성을 측정할 수 있는 방법을 개발하였다.enin과 Rhaponticin

The Heterotopiatic Placeness of North Korea and a Priming Effect: The Case of The Korean-American (북한의 헤테로토피아적 장소성과 점화 효과: 재미교포를 대상으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to prove double faced heterotopiatic placeness of North Korea which can be highlighted to one aspect through priming test. Korean-Americans are found to have a perception of North Korea as a closed society where political leader cult is practiced, Pyongyang as a display city. They have Christian nostalgia toward it as a place where Christianity was first introduced to. North Korea's heterotopiatic placeness is sharing the 5,000 years of history of the Korea peninsula on the one hand and being a closed dictatorship place on the other. North Korea is kept isolated and closed but has had a liminal space through the intentional open system like special economic zone. Pyongyang is the city for specific class where it shows the heterotopiatic character. Priming is found effective in Yeongbyun, a place of extreme mixtures placeness as being the hometown of the beloved Korean poet Kim So-Wol and the site of nuclear weapon experiment but Korean-Americans have not found any priming effect regarding the Geumgang mountain tour. As to the Arirang performance, a man-made landscape expressing North Korea's sense of value and ideology, priming resulted in preference. This study raises the needs for understanding North Korea as a multifaced placeness and it can purposely be emphasized and changed to contribute the two Korea's unification.

Perception and Satisfaction among Zoological Park Visitors (동물원 방문객의 인식 및 만족도 영향요인 연구)

  • Zoological parks are considered to be a recreational place for family outings and most importantly the starting place of contact with animals in the modem society. Due to environmental threats and the loss of wildlife habitats, the zoos have significant roles to play in education, research and conservation in addition to the traditional role-entertainment, but research on zoos and their visitors is very limited in Korea. The present study surveyed that the zoo visitors' perceptions of the role of zoos, satisfaction, and behaviors in 6 public zoos, during which 730 zoo visitors were interviewed. The results indicated that the zoos represent an opportunity for family-based trips, enjoyment with family or friends and education that are the primary motives for visiting the zoos. The findings demonstrate that respondents considered the four main roles of zoos namely conservation, education, entertainment, and research to be important and recognize its value for conservation and environmental education. The determinants of satisfaction of zoo visitors were ease of visibility, welfare of captive animals, and the availability of information. Most respondents believed that naturalistic exhibits and animal welfare were very important. In order to reinforce the roles of the zoo in modem society, multidisciplinary efforts are needed to improve the animal welfare, replicate native habitats, and develop various education programs.

Public Perception and Usage Pattern of Science Museum by Social Media Big Data Analysis (소셜 빅데이터 분석을 통해 알아본 대중의 과학관에 대한 인식 및 사용 행태)

  • Focusing on the role of the science museum as an institution to improve the scientific literacy of the public, this study investigated public perception and behavior about science museum to know how much science museums affect the public by using social media big data analysis. For this purpose, we extracted texts containing 'science museum' in Naver blogs and Twitter, analyzed them by using network, frequency, co-ocurrence, and semantics analysis and compared them with the results in English speaking countries. As a result, blogs were mainly concerned with science museum among parents who have young children, while in Twitter posts from many students who visited as a group appeared. Therefore, the Korean public used science museum mainly as a space for children's experience, and in this case, programs and exhibitions of science museums are perceived positively. On the other hand, students who visited as a group showed some negative emotions. The result of comparison with the cases of foreign countries in terms of the function of the third generation science museum such as communications with the science museum and the public and the participation of the public in science, the Korean public hardly mentioned the scientific contents, words related to communications such as 'argue', and curators or staff after visiting the science museum. In contrast to many verbs related to meaningful activities such as 'learn', 'participate', 'listen', 'read', 'ask', 'think' appeared in English, only a small number of verbs include 'ask' and 'thin' appeared in Korean. Therefore, science museum need to improve impression, communicating with public, and involving activity with impact and variety after visit.

A Study on the Cause of Noise and Vibration of an Elevator (엘리베이터 소음 및 진동의 원인에 관한 연구)

  • 최근 인구의 과밀화와 이에 따른 지가의 상승 등으로 대표적인 주거용 빌딩인 아파트의 고층화가 급속하게 진행되고 있고 아파트에 설치되는 엘리베이터도 점차 대형화, 고속화 되고 있다. 실례로 15층 아파트의 경우 11인승, 60m/min의 엘리베이터가 일반적으로 사용되는 반면, 20층 아파트의 경우 17인승, 90m/min이 주로 사용된다. 이와 같이 엘리베이터의 용량과 운행 속도가 증가함에 따라 필연적으로 소음 및 진동 문제가 발생하게 된다. 특히 아파트의 경우 침실, 공부방 등 고도의 정숙을 요하는 생활 공간이 많고, 내부 공간의 활용도를 높이기 위하여 이들 방들이 엘리베이터 기계실 또는 운행 통로와 직접 접하여 있는 경우도 있어 이 경우 소음, 진동 문제는 아주 심각한 문제로 대두된다. 본 연구소가 측정한 방에 의하면 S신도시 L아파트의 경우 아파트 최상층 방에서 실내 소음도가 46dB(A), 벽의 진동가속도가 3.4mm/s$^{2}$(RMS)으로 나타났다. 진동의 경우 생활에 직접적인 악영향을 미칠 수준은 아니지만 소음의 경우 ASHRAE 권장 주택소음 기준치가 35dB(A) 이하임ㅇㄹ 감안하면 주거에 곤란한 수준이다. 수년전, 고층 아파트가 보급될 초기에는 아파트에 엘리베이터가 설치되어있다는 그 자체만으로 충분한 장점이 되어 다소음 소음, 진동문제는 큰 불만거리가 되지 않았지만 엘리베이터가 보편화된 지금에는 엘리베이터의 편리성만으로는 점점더 크게 요구되는 정숙성이 보상되지 않는다. 따라서 전반적인 아파트의 소음, 진동 문제에 큰 비중을 차지하는 엘리베이터에 의한 소음, 진동에 관하여 체계적인 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본고에서는 엘리베이터에 의한 아파트의 소음 및 진동에 관하여 그 현황, 원인 그리고 대책에 관한여 논하고자 한다.감 방법을 연구하였고, T.Sakai는 5자유도 모델을 이용하여 엔진 공회전시 발생하는 치타음에 대해 이론과 실험을 통해 해석하고, 엔진 회전수 변동, 클러치 특성, 변속기의 드래그(drag) 토크의 영향과 치타음 저감을 위한 개선된 클러치 특성을 제시하였다. 이 외에도 Thomas C.T.와 E.P.Petkus는 특정 차량에 대한 동력전달계의 비틀림 진동 현상에 대해 연구하였다. 이러한 연구들로 볼 때, 자동차 동력전달계에서 발생하는 진동은 이론과 실험을 통해 그 해석이 가능하며 설계에 매우 유용하게 이용되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구는 4 실린더 4 싸이클 1.5 L 엔진을 장착한 경승용차의 실차 주행실험을 통해 가속 페달의 급조작에 따른 차체의 종진동 현상을 측정하고, 엔진-변속기-타이어-차체의 반환정계 4자유도 진동모델로 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 실차 주행실험의 결과치와 비교, 분석한 후 클러치 비틀림 특성을 비롯한 자동차 동력전달계의 각 설계인자들이 차체의 종진동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 해석하고자 한다.be presented.LIFO, 우선 순위 방식등을 선택할 수 있도록 확장하였다.   • An increase in the proportion of Korean population in older age is much faster than the rest of the world. Along with rise of nuclear family due to rapid industrialization, informatization and materialization, ageing, on current situation in Korea that a reality of being diminished consciousness involving the sense of filial piety, and of respect or honor for the elders, does mean that such topics in ageing have become sociocultural issues that a nation should get more deeply involved in caring later life of the elderly population in an official and obligatory manner. Under this circumstance, an exhibition space in the hall intended for experiencing the later life of the elderly will surely play the role of locomotive in the respect of education to understand aging adults, and to promote development of health and welfare industry, especially for older population, also in creating and developing a positive and desirable culture and environment. To implement design project concerned with the space for the elderly population in a more careful and effective manner, the features of the Old Age Experience Hall that will satisfy the requirements thereof and the space compositions as well as characteristics of three exhibition halls having already been operated were analyzed examining closely the current facing issues in this aging society and also investigating the aging process related to physical functions of older adults. Based on those analyses, this study was aimed to prepare an efficient and systematic theoretical foundation for planning space composition of the Old Age Experience Hall further having extracted basic directions for design from, which should be meticulously considered and reflected so as to make the Old Age Experience Hall function properly.

  • Due to the of evolution of digital technology, trends are moving toward personalization and customization in design (art), media, science. Existing mass media has been broadcasting to the general public due to technical and economic limitation and art works also communicate one-sidedly with spectators in the gallery or stage. But nowaday, it is possible for spectators to participate directly. We can make different products depending on the tastes of individuals who demand media or art. The essence of technology which makes it possible is 'interactive technology'. A goal of this research is to find out the true nature of the interactive design in multimedia contents and find the course of interactive communication design research. In this paper, we pass through two stages to solve this kind of problem. At first, we studied the concept of multimedia contents from the aspect of information revolution. Next, we decided our research topic to be 'visual reacting with audio' and made audio-visual art work as graphic designers. Through this research we can find the possibility to promote 'communication' in a broad sense, with appropriate interactive design.

The Official Memory of Korean War and the War Memorial (한국전쟁의 공식기억과 전쟁기념관)

  • This study explored the official memory of Korean War through the War Memorial. The object of this study was the War Memorial in Yong-san, Seoul. This study investigated the politics of how the War Memorial would appear and the official memory of what the War Memorial would communicate. In the process of foundation of the War Memorial one-sided decision was made by the President and the Army. The aim of the War Memorial is to educate next generation. Anti-communism is the most important ground for value judgement of exhibition. In this sense, the War Memorial concretize particular interpretations on Korean War. This is the official memory of Korean War made by the War Memorial.

Preference Factors of the Korean MZ Generation vis-à-vis the Online Programs of Museums Abroad (비대면 시대 해외 뮤지엄의 온라인 프로그램에 대한 한국 MZ 세대의 선호요인 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze the preference factors of the Korean MZ generation with regards to the online programs developed by museums abroad during the COVID-19 pandemic. World renown museums such as the British Museum, the National Gallery of London, Van Gogh Museum, J. Paul Getty Museum, Hasting Contemporary, Uffizi Gallery, and the Guggenheim Museum tackled the social-distancing situation with various creative online programs and events to continue their role as socially relevant institutions. Ten acclaimed programs conducted by these museums were shown to the Korean MZ generation, the most digitally savvy and frequent visitors to museums, to extract their responses to the various types of programs. The study showed that the Korean MZ generation prefer online programs which most closely reflect the onsite experience of a museum, and online contents with educational elements.
