A Study on Analysis of Effectiveness of Incentive by Green Building Certification Criteria (친환경 건축물 인센티브 제도의 실효성 분석에 관한 기초연구)

  • The government has offered incentives to encourage private companies that are to meet the Green Building Certification Criteria. Despite offering these incentives, the Green Building Certification Criteria record share of newly-built building in 2010 is 0.35%, very low. Effectiveness of Green Building Incentive applied by the Green Building Certification Criteria is questioned. So we attempts to analysis about effectiveness of Green Building by using Cost-Benefit Analysis. But if we want to use CBA, we need to draw cost, benefit factors that compose the incentive. So in this study, for applying CBA, we analysis cost, benefit factors.

  • 시설물 전생애주기에 걸쳐 정보가 공유되고 피드백 될 수 있는 BIM(Building Information Modeling) 기술의 등장은 유지보수 관리자들에게 가장 필요한 유지관리점검 도구의 의미를 지님과 동시에, 정보모델을 기반으로 주요 기술영역 및 사업주체간 원활한 의사소통이 가능해지도록 한다. 효율적인 지하철 터널의 유지관리를 위해서는 체계적으로 조직된 데이터가 필수적이다. 설계, 시공, 유지관리 단계별로 효과적인 협업을 위한 유기적인 단일 모델이 요구된다. BIM기반의 지하철 터널 구조물의 유지관리를 위해 건설정보분류체계 및 이를 보안한 유지관리점검 표준분류체계를 적용한 정보모델을 개발하였다.

  • 건축 기획단계는 프로젝트 전반에 걸친 주요한 의사결정이 일어나는 부분으로 그 영향력에 비해 프로젝트 정보를 수집, 처리, 저장하여 관련 참여자가 정보를 재사용하거나 참고하여 새로운 의사결정을 수행하는 것이 미흡하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 BIM을 활용하여 기획단계에서 발생한 정보들이 설계, 시공, 유지관리 단계에 이르기까지 전생애주기에 걸쳐 정보를 통합 관리할 수 있도록 BIM기반의 건축 기획단계 지원 시스템을 개발하고자한다. 선행연구 분석과 이론적 고찰을 통해 건축 기획단계를 정의하고 건축기획 BIM의 개념과 특징을 도출하였다. 이를 토대로 기획단계 BIM프로세스를 정립하여 BIM을 기반으로 건축 기획단계를 지원하는 프로토타입 시스템 VA-Cityplanner를 개발하였다.

  • Recently, BIM proliferates at high speeds so that BIM planning is trying to be used in various kinds of engineering. However, when using different software during design phase and construction phase, the problem of mutual compatibility is coming out. Even the BIM technology has been used or the practical applicability has been made into result, it would be fair to say that BIM has limitations in the visual level. In this research, it is meaningless to obtain the BIM result as the primary purpose. As the usefulness of it is judged incomplete, we committed to master the trend and problems of terrain spatial information systems and BIM. Furthermore, the plan of building the BIM in the civil field, especially the civil-BIM based on the technology ofterrain spatial information has been presented. It can be judged through this research that the high-capacity DB of BIM occurred during the whole process may cause poor performance of the following stage the structure system which connects the terrain spatial information and civil-BIM. In order to manage the optimal full cycle, the spatial analysis technology of the stages after choosing the DB has been described.

  • This is a comparative study that shows the overall environmental impacts from concrete structures when different compressive strength of concrete applied to structural systems having the same reference flow with different durability. A total of 24 MPa, 40 MPa and 60 MPa cases is analyzed to define the characteristic using end-point perspective LCA methodology including the stages of production, construction, maintenance and disposal. As results, global warming, non-renewable energy and respiratory inorganics problems are the major issues for assessing environmental impacts of concrete products.

  • BIM(Building Information Modeling) technologies are the most effective for the maintenance of infrastructures because they provide information sharing througout the life-cycle of structures and support close communication between different project stages. Systematic and well-organized data play a fundamental role for the effective maintenance of subway tunnel. In this paper, 3D information models for maintenance of BIM-based subway tunnel structures are developed. Standard classifications for the maintenance and construction information classification system were adopted. A classification system based on construction information classification system was built considering procedures of maintenance work. It provides optimization and standardization of the work flow for the maintenance of subway structures by applying information modeling processes instead of the current maintenance practices. It can effectively reduces the life cycle cost and time for the maintenance. The proposed system can be utilized for the maintenance history management to enhance current maintenance system.

  • Environmental problems and the shortage of natural resources are currently gathering more attention in Korea and international countries. With these problems, it is reported that most current domestic buildings are emitting approximately 138 million tons of greenhouse gas. According to a recent report from the investigation of Korean housing population, the total number of households is approximately 12.9 millions, and the apartments that were built more than 15 years ago amounted to 3.1 millions. This shows that the rates of old apartment housings are increasing. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the deteriorated facilities and environmental improvement. Also, the construction industry is benefited by improving these housings which may need either remodeling or reconstruction. Environmental friendly buildings are a rising consideration for remodeling and reconstruction projects; it helps to determine many business matters in construction. The main purpose of this research is to improve environmental condition in apartments with comparison analysis between remodeling and reconstruction alternatives. This research is focused on characteristics of remodeling and reconstruction and it sets up the same condition with each level in order to evaluate the value of environmental friendliness and analyze its definition. The result of this research provides a unique emitting rate at a novel framework and this will cause the reduction of $CO_2$. It is analyzed that the remodeling construction can reduce the great amount of $CO_2$. Therefore, it will be a good decision guideline in selecting the most eco-friendly alternative to improve environment for building construction. Although reconstruction is a popular alternative nowadays in Korea, this research can provide a reason why decision makers should put more emphasis on remodeling as an environment-friendly alternative.

Improvement of Consumer's Reliability on the Eco Label by Suggestion of Quantifying Rating System (소비자 신뢰도를 높인 친환경 인증마크의 등급제 제안)

  • This study measured consumer's recognition, reliability, emotion and images about current eco-marks as well proposed an eco-mark rating scale and mark designs to improve consumer's trust on the fashion product marks. We used a questionnaire survey to collect data from 150 persons about knowledge, interests, and practice on eco fashion products in relation to trustfulness and positive images for three domestic and three international eco-marks. We evaluated and gave eco scores to six fiber-type products (cotton, organic cotton, wool, polyester, biodegradable polyester and nylon) in terms of consumer's use, water & land consumption, waste amount, carbon footprint, and toxicity. We suggested a new 5-level rating scale for eco marks, which quantified the concept of environmental friendliness of fiber products. The design for eco-mark of rating scale showed the total grade with two sub scores of environmental sides and human sides developed with an improved visual understanding for consumers. The design is one through benchmarking the energy-consumption efficiency mark, which is familiar to consumers such as a half circle shape to save environment resources to alarm consumers to environment problems.

  • The main purpose of the archives is to maintain a history of the organization's functions and activities. Selecting valuable records for the permanent archives through objective appraisal from among many records that reflects the activities of organization is very important but also very difficult. The quantity and complexity of comtemporary records has rapidly expanded because of electronic storage, and with the information environment, and it is now possible to manage and control the records an entire lifetime. In this study, it is proposed the appraisal methods based on a business analysis that is combined the macro-appraisal factor and micro-appraisal factor; The former is functions and organizations as the objective guideline of selecting valuable records from the beginning and the latter is a contents appraisal (evidential value) of the individual records.
