  • A three dimensional numerical analysis has been made for the cone disk control valve and the flat disk control valve. The simulation of the incompressible flow in the each control vale are performed by using the commercial code. Six flow cases of each control valve are investigated.

  • This paper presents the high order conservative interpolation methods. This method has been successfully implemented into a cell-centered finite volume methods code. Results using high order and maintaining conservation interpolation method are more accurate compared to bilinear interpolation.

  • Unsteady CFD results of the backward facing step (BFS) flow field is reconstructed by the low-dimenstional modes using the POD (Proper Orthogonal Decomposition) technique. Flow responses to the blowing or suction with various frequencies and amplitudes applied at the edge of the BFS can also be analysed using the same technique. The present technique can be effectively applied to the feedback flow control device.

  • Fluid flow in LPG injector is delayed momently around nozzle and leaked accidentally, then engine operation becomes unstable. When attached cutsole injector that we can prevent fuel from leaking. Attaching additional devices cause loss of power and pressure. In this study, We has analyzed the performance of the LPG injector nozzle by changing cutsole geometry numerously by using Computational Fluid Dynamics.

  • A three dimensional numerical analysis and experimental measurements were made for incompressible flows in a globe valve with three different types of plug. Characteristics of pressure drop across the valve were investigated for each type of plug at various opening positions. Numerical simulation results show a good agreement with experimental data.

  • CFD simulation for Smart-UAV(TR-E2Sl) is performed to analyze its aerodynamic characteristics. Base geometry and several cases, decided by control surfaces being deflected, are simulated. To obtain the better lift characteristics, the elevator should be deflected between 10o and 20o with the incidence angle of the wing 1o.

  • A prediction of store separation trajectory using grid survey method has been conducted. For the grid survey method, store's aerodynamic flowfield data such as freestream and grid data is needed to solve 6 degree of freedom(6-DOF) equations of motion. In the presented study, aerodynamic flowfield data was generated by Euler solver instead of CTS wind tunnel test. The predicted trajectories shows good agreement with CTS test results.

  • The numerical simulations on the train entrering a tunnel were performed by solving unsteady axi-symmetric problems. To reduce the effects of the pressure wave generated by the train starting abruptly, several starting method of the train were also examined. The pressure rise by the train entering a tunnel was compared with other results, and similar value was obtained compared with those of previous studies.

  • IT technologies(Chips, Grid and e-Science) are rapidly changed from 1965. In 1965, Intel co-founder Gordon Mooresaq the future. His prediction popularly known as Moore's law, state that the computer chips double in power every 18 months Grid computing offers a model for solving massive computational problems by making use of the unused resources of large numbers of disparate, often desktop, computers treated as a virtual cluster embedded in a distributed telecommunications infrastructure.
