오늘날 인터넷 기술이 급격한 성장과, 인터넷을 통한 조직과 개인의 사회적 활동의 증가에 따라 인터넷에 대한 우리의 생활 의존도가 점차로 커지고 있으며 이에 따른 역작용으로 침해사고 및 정보의 유출, 파괴, 서비스방해, 위조, 변조 등의 컴퓨터범죄가 날로 증가하여 심가한 사회문제로 대두되고 있다. 사이버 공간에서 전산망을 보호하기 위해서 사용자 인증, 무결성 점검, 침입탐지, 파이어 월 등 다양한 기술이 사용되고 있다, 하지만 가장 우선시 되어야 하는 것은 공격의 목표가 되는 시스템의 보안 취약점을 찾아내고 이를 제거하는 작업이라고 할 수 있다, 이 논문에서는 대학 전산망의 확대와 해킹기술은 급속히 발달하고 있지만 이에 비해 대학 전산망 보호를 위한 보안장비 및 관리자/사용자들의 보안 지식 및 기술은 절대적으로 부족한 실정을 감안해서, 내부 사용자들이 자신의 취약점을 쉽게 점검 및 해결할 수 있고, 관리자들이 전산망의 취약점을 파악하는데 효과적인 시스템을 제안한다.

1996년 7월 교육정보화촉진계획의 입안으로부터 시작한 교육정보화사업은 많은 긍정적인 성과를 거두고 있지만 전산망이 인터넷과 연결되면서 역기능도 점차 증가하고 있다. 전산망 관리자 및 보안전문가 없이 교사가 관리하는 학교 전산망의 경우 보안에 취약해 전산망의 정상적 운용 및 개인정보보호가 위협받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 학교전산망의 정보보안 취약점을 개선하기 위해 정보보호 현황 분석하여 개선방안을 모색해 보고자 한다.

According to the outstanding development of information industry, a study of firewall is progressing as one of methods to cope with threat and loss of the data through computer network. For the secure network, this paper proposes the method diminishing threat and loss of the network using the correlation firewall with network audit trail system. Also, this paper suggests not only the audit analyzer execution model but also the type of databases used in audit analyzer to analyze the audit data. Network audit trail system has the function of identifing and analyzing of all intruder actions using audit records created by users.

Academic and research computer networks are the essential communications component that can provide scientists and engineers with convenient access to local and remote computing and information resources. Nowadays, academic and research computer networks, providing access to a variety of resources and information services, can significantly increase the productivity of scientists and engineers. In Korea there have been some activities of academic and research networks since early of 1980. This study presents background of development of computer network, summaries the types of services offered by academic and research computer networks and analyses the potential benefits resulting from their availability. Use and need of Korean researchers about academic and research computer networks are also reviewed as well as it prospects Korean Computer Network for Education and Research & Development, a new national-base network being implemented by government.

As the information technology is being rapidly developed, Korean government supplies various communication equipments to schools and therefore, it causes difficulties to cope with various faults from complicated school network communication equipments. These faults come from many reasons for wasting school budget and decreasing effectiveness in school administration. From this, it is necessary to figure out the problems of school communication equipments and cope with these problems quickly and preventing those faults in advance. In this paper, we present the school communication equipments analysis methodology not only quantitative but also qualitative aspects. We are sure that applying this methodology may improve the effectiveness of school network equipments management.

The hospital network requires the effective transmission of multimedia PCAS data for medical treatment. But the network traffic has happened frequently in consultation hours because of the limited resources of hospital network and high capacity of PACS data. This is major interruption for the medical treatment. This problem can be solved by the adaptive QoS. In this paper, we design the middleware based QoS architecture in hospital network for controlling the contribution system. Our virtual simulation verifies that our middleware assures QoS of the priority PACS data of audio and image compared with the conventional hospital network.

본 논문에서는 자동화 및 전산화가 부족한 포항제철소 내의 기기 중 냉연공장의 #2RCL공정을 대상으로 하여 실제 포항제철의 전산망 구조를 따르는 시스템을 구성하여 보았다. 또한 실험에서는 현재 포항제철소에서 추진 중인 EIC통합안에서 제시하고 있는 VMEbus를 기반으로 하여 하부의 조업 데이타를 수집하는 시스템을 구축하여 보았다. 이러한 시스템의 구성은 향후 EIC통합안의 표준에 따르는 공정 전산망을 미리 실현해 봄으로써 차후 실제 전산망 구축 시에 필요한 기초적인 데이타로서 사용이 가능하리라 사료된다.

본 논문은 다양한 침입행위를 탐지하고 보안시스템의 효율적 관리를 보장하는 국방전산망과 같은 대규모 네트워크 환경에 적합한 계층적 구조의 통합보안관리시스템 모델에 대한 연구이다. 전산망 위협요소 및 공격유형에 따른 취약점을 분석하여 필요한 전산망 보호기술을 판단하고 침입차단/탐지시스템, 안티바이러스 시스템, 취약점분석 시스템 등의 보안시스템과 상호연동 모델을 분석하여, 도출된 요구사항을 기반으로 대규모 조직에 적합한 계층구조의 통합보안관리시스템의 구축 방안을 제시하였다.
