  • Lotte Shopping Co. started its business from Lotte Department Store. From the beginning, Lotte Shopping Co. opened the largest department store and, since then, has expanded its business size through the processes of active developments of its own stores and merges and acquisitions of other companies. Currently, it operates a variety of retail shops such as department stores, discount stores, movies theaters, shopping malls, and supermarkets along with a TV home-shopping station and an online shopping mall. Lotte group, a business conglomerate Lotte Shopping belongs to, has an objective of becoming TOP 10 business group in Asia by 2018. Lotte group declared its vision statements in 2009 and has spent its effort to accomplish the goal. Lotte Shopping is implementing the group-level growth strategy through merges and acquisitions and diverse marketing programs. We will briefly investigate the current situation of Lotte Shopping and will then analyze its 1) entertainment shopping center and multi-channel strategy, 2) global market entry, and 3) education system.

Analysis of the Conditions and Products of Natural Dyeing Internet Shopping Malls (천연염색전문 인터넷 쇼핑몰 현황 및 상품 분석)

  • This study analyzes the conditions and products of internet shopping malls that sell natural dyeing products. In this study, 98 natural dyeing internet shopping malls were selected. The results of this study are as follows. The locations of the internet shopping malls were Gyeonggi-do, Seoul, Jeollanam-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gwang-ju (city), Daegu (city), Busan (city), Gyeongsangnam-do, and Jeju-do. The most frequent dyes of the natural dyeing products were loess, followed by charcoal, indigo, and persimmon. Indigo was most frequently used in Seoul, with loess and charcoal most frequent in Gyeonggi-do. Persimmon, indigo, loess, and charcoal were mainly used in Jeollanam-do, with persimmon and loess in the Gyeongsangbuk-do, and persimmon in Jeju-do. The highest ordered product categories were accessories, followed by adult clothing, interior decoration products, and bedding. The most frequent products were bedclothes, followed by scarves, female shirts, blouses, pillows, female jackets, and vests. Regarding the price of products, 150,000-200,000 won was the highest for the Saenghwal Hanbok, with 10,000-30,000 won for underwear, 30,000-60,000 won for accessories, and 100,000-150,000 won for bedding. Concerning product information, 58.2% of internet shopping malls offer the product size and almost half of them did not show the properties or directions for handling the product. Based on the research results, the problems of the conditions and products of natural dyeing internet shopping mall were derived. The results show that the natural dyes of internet shopping malls lacked regional symbolism, the products were not specialized, and product information was not fully offered to consumers. To solve these problems, the strategies for marketing the promotion of the natural dyeing internet shopping mall were, ‘Using natural dyes from local resources’, ‘Market oriented and specialized item design’, and ‘Offer right product information’.

An Empirical Study on the Economical Competition Factors of Internet Retailers (인터넷 소매상의 경제적 경쟁요인에 관한 실증연구)

  • 고석하 등(2002)은 인터넷 소매상이 상품 품목의 명목 가격과 배송료를 이용해서 고객의 일회 총 구매 비용을 조절한다는 것을 밝혔다. 고석하 등(2002)은 같은 내용의 상품 조합을 인터넷 시장에서 구매하기 위한 비용과 전통 시장에서 구매하기 위한 비용을 비교하였다. 분석 결과, 그 교호작용과 함께, 상품 종류와 일회 구매액/가격의 크기의 두 요소가 인터넷 시장의 전통 시장에 대한 총 구매비용 할인율의 변동의 약 60%내지 80%를 설명할 수 있다는 것을 보여주었다. 한편, 구매액/가격은 인터넷 시장에서의 해당 산포도(전통 시장의 그것에 대비한)에는 거의 영향을 미치지 못하며, 상품의 종류도 산포도에는 할인율에서와 같이 큰 영향을 미치지 않았다. 인터넷 시장의 가격이나 구매비용 산포도는 상품 특성이나 구매액 크기 이외의 다른 요인에 의해서 주로 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 가격 요인 이외의 경제적 경쟁요인에 관한 실증연구로서, 2002년 6월 17일부터 20일까지, 소프트웨어, PC와 주변기기, 휴대폰, 가전제품, CD, 화장품, 그리고 책의 7가지 산업 전문 쇼핑몰과 종합 쇼핑몰을 대상으로, 인터넷 시장에서 수행되고 있는 경제적인 비 가격 경쟁요인에 관한 실증 조사를 실시하였다. 조사 결과, 인터넷 시장에서 수행되고 있는 경제적인 비 가격 경쟁요인은 매우 다양하며, 상품별로도 다른 특성을 보이고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 인터넷 소매상의 경제적인 비 가격 경쟁요인은 크게 배송료 면제와 배송료 외 인센티브 제도로 구분된다 본 논문에서는 경제적인 비 가격 경쟁요인의 모든 경우의 수를 고려할 수 있도록, 코드표를 작성하여 정리하고 분석하였다.전체 분석정보의 공유가 필수적으로 발생하게 됨으로, 유전체 정보와 임상정보의 통합은 미래 의료환경에 필수기능이 될 것이다. 3) 각 생명공학 연구소에서 사용하는 첨단 분석 장비와 생명공학 정보시스템의 자동 연계가 필요하다. 현재 국내에는 전국적인 초고속정보망이 가동되어 웹을 기반으로 하는 생명정보의 공유는 기술적으로 문제가 될 수 없으나 임상정보의 유전체연구에 그리고 유전체연구정보의 임상활용은 다양한 문제를 내포하고 있다. 이에 영상을 포함한 환자정보의 유전체연구센터와 병원정보시스템과의 효율적인 연계통합 운영을 위해 국내에서는 초기 도입단계에 있는 국제적인 보건의료정보의 표준인 Health Level 7 (textural information 공유), DICOM (image 및 wave 공유), 관련 ISO표준, WHO의 ICD9/10 (질병분류), LOINC (검사 및 관련용어), SNOMED International (의학용어) 등을 활용하여야 한다.matrix.   • This study attempted to analyze the influence of mobile shopping motivation on the attributes and selection of beauty applications among consumers in their 20s, and the results found the following: First, mobile shopping motivation was classified into the categories of playfulness, convenience, and impulsiveness while beauty application attributes were divided into contents, community, and continuous management. Second, mobile shopping motivation was found to have a significant influence on selection of mobile beauty applications. Specifically, playfulness affected professional brands and beauty shopping mall apps, while impulsiveness revealed an effect on online shopping malls and beauty community apps. In addition, convenience showed an influence on TV home shopping apps. Third, mobile shopping motivation had a statistically significant effect on beauty application attributes. Specifically, playfulness, convenience, and impulsiveness revealed a statistically significant influence on contents, while playfulness also affected beauty communities. In addition, impulsiveness affected continuous management.

Key Success Factors of the Internet Shopping Mall of Marine Products : Linkages Between Traceability Information and Perceived Quality (수산물 전문 쇼핑몰 핵심성공요인 : 생산이력추적정보와 지각된 품질의 연계)

  • This study developed the traceability information for tracing fishery products from the production step to the consumption step in the distribution channel of fishery products. Based on it, we further presented the theoretical linkage between traceability information and perceived qualities of internet shopping malls, and then investigated how traceability information affected trust and perceived usefulness in the internet shopping mall to find the key success factors of internet shopping malls of fishery products. We collected 194 responses from internet consumers who had prior experience on purchasing fishery products. This survey data was used to empirically test the ten research model hypotheses by using PLS. The PLS results indicated that traceability information had significant impact on trust and perceived usefulness. Finally, trust, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were found to be related to online consumers' intention to purchase fishery products.

  • This study reviews the limit of image search by considering on the image search methods related to content-based image retrieval and suggests a user interface for more efficient content-based image retrieval and the ways to utilize image properties. For now, most studies on image search are being performed focusing on content-based image retrieval; they try to search based on the image's colors, texture, shapes, and the overall form of the image. However, the results are not satisfactory because there are various technological limits. Accordingly, this study suggests a new retrieval system which adapts content-based image retrieval and the conventional keyword search method. This is about a way to attribute properties to images using texts and a fast way to search images by expressing the attribute of images as keywords and utilizing them to search images. Also, the study focuses on a simulation for a user interface to make query language on the Internet and a search for clothes in an online shopping mall as an application of the retrieval system based on image attribute. This study will contribute to adding a new purchase pattern in online shopping malls and to the development of the area of similar image search.

  • In respect complication of group and period, the sales of retail trade is composed of various factors. This paper studies focus on estimating the determinants of the sales of retail trade. The volume of analysis consist of 7 groups. Analyzing period be formed over a 36 point(2005. 1$\sim$2007. 12). In this paper dependent variable setting up sales of retail trade, explanatory(independent) variables composed of composite stock price index, the number of the consumer's online buying behavior company, the coincident composite index, the index of trading price of APT, employment rate, an average of the rate of operation(the manufacturing industry), the consumer price index. The result of estimating the determinants of sales of retail trade provides empirical evidences of significance positive relationships between the coincident composite index, the index of trading price of APT, employment rate, an average of the rate of operation(the manufacturing industry). However this study provides empirical evidences of significance negative relationships between the consumer price index. The explanatory variables, that is, composite stock price and the number of the consumer's online buying behavior company, are non-significance variables. Implication of these findings are discussed for content research and practices.

  • Unlike conventional online shopping malls that handle simple product sales, customization services have to be provided with a user-centered and smooth customizable work environment because of differences that buyers have to customize themselves. To study the ease of use of T-shirt customization web GUI, three websites that provide T-shirt customization services were selected to analyze the current status of T-shirt customization websites. Through prior research, we establish the evaluation principle as consistency and clarity, operability, feedback, coping with errors, sharing and ease of search. Based on this, the T-shirt customization web GUI design guidelines were drafted and three delphi surveys were conducted on GUI-related experts to prove the validity of the web GUI guidelines evaluation items that are effective in customizing T-shirts. This study is expected to contribute to increasing the production and usability of the T-shirt customization web and to be used as an effective reference for customization web GUI design.

  • 전자상거래는 우리나라 뿐 아니라 여러 선진국에서 새로운 비즈니스 환경으로 급속히 개발 되고 있으며, 아울러 기업에게 위협 요인과 동시에 새로운 기회로 다가오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 전자상거래 모델에서 벗어나 쇼핑몰 관련 그룹을 제조. 유통. 생산업체인 공급자(B)그룹과 제품을 공급받아 소비자에게 직접 판매하는 도·소매(B)그룹 그리고 제품을 구매하는 소비자(C)그룹으로 나누고 서로 윈 윈(Win Win) 할 수 있는 효과적인 전자상거래 모델(B2B2C)의 사례를 연구하고자 한다. 이러한 기업 공동 B2B2C 전자상거래 모델을 웹 어플리케이션 전문제작회사인 D개발회사가 본 시스템 솔루션에 2개월을 소요·개발하여 적용한 결과 고객은 온라인-오프라인 상에서 상호적으로 대응 할 수 있었고, 제품에 대한 품질보증 역할을 더할 수 있어 기존 단골 고객을 중심으로 효율적인 수익을 창출 할 수 있는 전자 상거래 모델을 구축하였다. 즉, 기존의 오프라인의 점 조직 형태의 판매망을 통해 온라인 전자상거래와 상호 유기적으로 도움을 줄 수 있다. 이는 B2B2C의 새로운 전자상거래 모델 제시와 더불어 기존고객을 관리할 수 있는 CRM 도입 효과를 가져와 향후 전자상거래를 통한 온라인 유통망형성에 있어 새로운 솔루션 개발의 기반기술이 될 것이다.

Clothing Purchase Behavior of Adolescents by the Consumer Awareness (청소년의 소비자 의식과 의복구매행동)

  • To investigate the consumer awareness and clothing purchase behavior of adolescents, questionnaire was administered to 639 middle and high school students in Daegu. The results were as follows. 1. The consumer awareness of adolescents was analyzed to 4 factors. consciousness of right. consumer information, brand-orientedness and responsibility. Respondents were clustered into three groups : utility-oriented group, brand-oriented group, and consumerism-oriented group. 2. Respondents bought their clothes at specialty stores primarily. They used ´products´, ´family's or friends advices´, and ´purchase experiences´ as information sources. The important criteria for selecting clothes were ´design´, ´price´, and ´suitability´ for oneself. Dissatisfactions after purchasing clothes were with ´price´, ´service´, ´sewing´, and ´size´. The complaining behaviors which respondents did mainly were ´telling friends about dissatisfaction with their purchased clothes´, ´asking for change dissatisfying products or asking for refund´ and ´asking for mending´. 3. Information sources were categorized into 3 factors: ´neutral information source´, ´personal information source´ and ´commercial information source´. Criteria for selecting clothes were factor-analyzed into ´harmony´, ´fashion´ and ´management of clothes´. ´The factors of dissatisfactions with purchased clothes were ´appearance´, ´quality´ and ´service´. 4. The differences by the consumer awareness in clothing purchase behaviors among consumer groups : In information sources. criteria for selecting clothes, complaining behaviors. purchasing places. three consumer groups were different significantly.
