A Study on the Information Use Behaviors of Researchers in the Field of Business Administration for Improving Information Services (정보서비스 개선을 위한 경영학분야 연구자의 정보이용행태에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze researchers' information use behaviors in the field of business administration in order to provide library services based on user information needs. The methods of this study targeted the members of K Society in the business administration field, and employed user survey using a web-based questionnaire. A total of 202 users answered the questionnaire. The questionnaire focused on items such as by age and status, general information use, electronic resources use, SNS and mobile services information use, library and information center use, and specialized business administration library use. The results of this study suggested improving several library services.

  • 본 논문에서는 입학 정보 서비스를 제공하는 챗봇을 설계하고 구현한다. 이 챗봇은 Microsoft Azure와 네이버 LINE 채널에서 인하공업전문대학 입학 정보 안내기능을 제공한다. 사용자의 입력을 통한 입학처 챗봇의 대답으로 입학처 정보에 접근 할 수 있다. 사용자가 입력한 데이터는 데이터베이스에서 가공되어 사용자가 접근한 입학 정보를 얻어 낼 수 있어 이를 통한 전형 선호도의 추세와 사용자가 원하는 전형별 정보가 무엇인지 알 수 있으므로 입학처가 추후 나아가야 할 방향을 알 수 있다.

A Study on the Evaluation of Service Quality in Special Library of Local Autonomous Entity Research Institution (지방연구원 소속 전문도서관의 서비스 품질 평가에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the quality of service that affects satisfaction of special library users and to suggest ways to improve the function and role of special library. The data were collected by survey and interview method conducted with 111 library users in 6 local research institute using modified questionnaires based on LibQUAL+. The results revealed that human quality factor had more influence on library service satisfaction than space and information quality factor. Also, there were statistically significant influence between library service satisfaction and three sub service factors, such as service attitude, space convenience, and information usability. The interviewers indicated problems of special library service in lack of data, inactivation of digital data, space problem, data sharing problem, and lack of experts. Finally this study proposed several suggestions to improve service quality of special library of local autonomous entity research institution.

  • In this research, we attempt to discuss about the subject reference service from a marketing point of view, especially from a perspective of customer relationship management(CRM), and examine how this service actually functions to build the relationships with users of academic libraries, especially with faculty members. To carry out the research, a focus group interview was conducted with subject specialists, and also individual in-depth interviews with faculty members. In addition, we also discuss about characteristics of subject specialists which affect the relationship with the faculty members in a college environment. This study is meaningful as it discussed purposes of and characteristics in subject reference service from user' viewpoint and the perspective of CRM.

  • Recently, subject specialized service has been suggested as a solution to overcome a difficulty of library management and to meet the quickly changing needs of library users. Introduction of subject specialized service is raised to be introduced to special libraries and efficient management system is required. However, systematic study on the subject specialized service is very rare. This study investigates and analyzes how subject specialized service is operated in korean special libraries and how subject specialist librarians recognize them. In order to analyzes and investigate, 8 special libraries was selected to survey general management of subject specialized service, recruitment and training issues of subject specialist librarian, their duties and overall evaluation and problem of subject specialized service. Finally the study attempts to suggest development strategies in order to improve subject specialized service in special libraries.

  • 과학기술이 현격하게 변화한 것만큼 웹 공간에서의 과학기술 정보시스템 및 과학기술 연구자들의 정보이용 행태도 빠르게 변화하여 왔다. LG상남도서관의 LG ELIT(http://www.lg.or.kr)는 과학기술분야 연구자들을 위한 과학기술 정보서비스를 제공하면서 과학기술 연구자가 원하는 차별화된 서비스를 제공하고자 노력해왔다. 이 사례 소개에서는 영어논문 튜토리얼 및 영어논문 감수 서비스에 대한 설명과 더불어 서비스 준비 과정을 공유함으로써 새로운 서비스를 준비하는 분들에게 도움을 주고자 한다.

Quality Evaluation of the Scientific and Technical Information Services and Its User Study (과학기술전문정보서비스 품질평가 및 이용자 정보요구 분석)

  • The main purpose of this research is to look into not only how users evaluate two major databases(BIST and SATURN) of the scientific and technical literature in Korea, but also what users expect from scientific and technical information services in general. The result of the user evaluation shows that there is a very little difference between two databases in database quality. It was found that BIST is better than SATURN in terms of accuracy, customer support, searching capability, and currency, whereas SATURN is preferred to BIST for completeness and the average number of retrieved items. User expectation for scientific and technical information is also investigated by surveying its user community. Among three user groups, there is notable disagreement in language uses to search non-korean literature. Each group also shows different demands for translation of original literature. This study attempted to evaluate the quality of the scientific and technical information (BIST and SATURN) and simultaneously to investigate users demands in general. By doing so, the specificity implied in quality evaluation of specific information services as well as the generalization of the users behaviors in scientific and technical community were accommodated in this study.

  • 현재 코로나 시대에 살아가면서 실습이 필요한 대학수업은 제대로 진행하기 힘든 상황이다. 이에 대응하기 위하여 렌탈 서비스를 통해 쉽게 물품을 빌리고, 관리하기 쉬운 시스템을 개발하였다. 직접 수령할 때에는 라즈베리파이를 이용한 열화상카메라로 온도 체크를 하고 특정 온도가 넘었을 시 LED 전등이 빨간색으로 깜빡거리게 되며 대여신청하면 정보가 담긴 대여 번호가 생성 되고 스마트박스에 대여 번호 확인 후 도어락이 풀리게 되는 무인 렌탈 서비스를 개발하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Microsoft Bot Framework 기반의 미용실 예약 서비스 챗봇을 구현한다. 이 챗봇은 데이터 베이스 연동을 통하여 미용실 예약정보를 저장, 수정, 취소하는 기능을 제공하여 실시간으로 사용자에게 신속하고 편리한 예약 서비스를 제공하도록 설계하고 구현한다. 또한, Microsoft Bot Framework를 이용하여 채팅 인터페이스뿐만 아니라 챗봇 작업의 작동 방법과 이유를 이해하는 데 도움이 되는 독립 실행형 앱을 사용하여 미용실 예약과 예약변경 및 취소 이벤트를 발생시킬 수 있도록 구현한다. 그리고 개인 웹 서버와 카카오맵 API를 연동하여 미용실 위치 경로를 제공하여 사용자가 더욱 편리하게 서비스를 이용하도록 구현한다.
