The purpose of this study was to get reflections on teaching numbers and operations for special education from analyzing lessons for counting, addition and subtraction of natural number with counting board for students with autism. In order to attain these purposes, this study analyzed the lessons for counting, addition and subtraction of natural number to students with autism in 4th and 6th graders in special class at regular elementary school using counting board for one hour per week for 30 weeks. According to the analysis, counting board that reveals the structure of numbers becomes an effective mathematical materials, and using the counting strategy and computation strategy can be an effective method of teaching, and it is possible to teach mathematical communication to students with autism. From this result, this study presented suggestions for teaching counting, addition and subtraction for students with disabilities.

Children should have opportunities to experience problem solving individually with strategies for developing their problem solving abilities. To make an instructional design for individual teaming, problem solving activities were classified into categories like individual activities, individual activities within a group, and team teaching. A flow of teaching and teaming process was designed before, and concrete and semi-concrete materials were used in an experimental teaching, which was analysed in this research.

This study aims to investigate an approach to teach proportional reasoning in elementary mathematics class by analyzing the proportional strategies the students use to solve the proportional reasoning tasks and their percentages of correct answers. For this research 174 sixth graders are examined. The instrument test consists of various questions types in reference to the previous study; the proportional reasoning tasks are divided into algebraic-geometric, quantitative-qualitative and missing value-comparisons tasks. Comparing the percentages of correct answers according to the task types, the algebraic tasks are higher than the geometric tasks, quantitative tasks are higher than the qualitative tasks, and missing value tasks are higher than the comparisons tasks. As to the strategies that students employed, the percentage of using the informal strategy such as factor strategy and unit rate strategy is relatively higher than that of using the formal strategy, even after learning the cross product strategy. As an insightful approach for teaching proportional reasoning, based on the study results, it is suggested to teach the informal strategy explicitly instead of the informal strategy, reinforce the qualitative reasoning while combining the qualitative with the quantitative reasoning, and balance the various task types in the mathematics classroom.

The aim of this study is to look into the didactical background for teaching percent in elementary school mathematics and offer suggestions to improve teaching percent in the future. In order to attain these purposes, this study examined key ideas with respect to the didactical background on teaching percent through a theoretical consideration regarding various studies on percent. Based on such examination, this study compared and analyzed textbooks used in the United States, the United Kingdom, and South Korea. In the light of such theoretical consideration and analytical results, this study provided suggestions for improving teaching percent in elementary schools in Korea as follows: giving much weight on percent, emphasizing the concept of percent as a ratio, underlining the various kinds of change problems, emphasizing informal strategies of students before teaching the percent formula, and utilizing various models actively.

본 연구는 국가정보화의 총괄적인 정보개발계획을 수립하기 위하여 일명 정보개발지도를 이용하여 국가의 정보개발 현황을 분석하고 국가 정보화의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 이는 현재 국내에 개발되어 서비스를 제공중인 정보, 사업의 지원자금으로 개발을 추진중에 있는 정보, 혹은 아직 미개발되었지만 공공정보로써 개발이 가능한 공공기관의 정보자원을 조사하고 세부분야별로 분류하여 하나의 평면에 나타냄으로써 국내 공공정보 개발의 방위를 파악하고자 한다. 또한 해외의 정보개발, 서비스들을 평면에 함께 제시함으로써 향후 공공데이터베이스의 개발 과제를 파악하기 위한 기반자료로 활용될 수 있으며, 정보개발지도에 따라 년차별 개발분야 및 개발 우선순위 등을 결정될 수 있으리라 예측된다.

Under the WTO, Bang-Wha country's agriculture is experiencing many difficulties and environmental changes. This paper aims to establish the cultural tourism strategy for culture-based city Gwangju. For this purpose, six key words 'topic, viewpoint, strategy, creation, change, project' are presented. The topic part includes the concept and paradigm of culture-based city Gwangju, The viewpoint part includes the cultural politics of tourism. The strategy part presents creative tourism as a vision of tourism, planning for the alternative cultural tourism contents, seven core types of Gwangju cultural tourism, and the five strategies of creative tourism Gwangju. The Creation part and the change part include respectively Gwangju place marketing strategy and the method of making creative cultural tourism subjects. Finally, the core projects of Gwangju creative tourism named 4CT projects are presented.

The BSC which was proposed by Kaplan and Norton, is being used as a general performance measurement tool in various firms and industries. BSC approach links strategic objectives with specific operation indices and it can efficiently evaluate the attainment of the goals of the firm. This study is a BSC based case of the government R&D institute which is staffed with knowledge experts in the research areas. In order to bring a major change to a public research organization and shape a strategy focused organization, it is essential to understand the proper methodology of the whole construction process of BSC from the mission of the institute through the establishment of vision and strategic direction, KPI building, and a strategy map set, to the implementation of the BSC monitoring system. By investigating the application process, in this research we intend to provides useful implications in the BSC construction process of public research agencies.

The purpose of this study was to search for effective strategies on teaching open-inquiry by comparing students' and teachers' recognition of its difficulties and helpful strategies. This study focused on the cases of science high school students and their teachers, who carried out open-inquiry to participate in KYPT. This research was conducted through participant observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The research findings were as follows: students stated that planning and doing experiments were the most difficult parts, whereas teachers viewed that their students had difficulties in analyzing data and making a conclusion. With respect to the effective strategy, students stated that they gained many ideas from peer discussions although they have had to carry out their individual tasks. On the contrary, teachers thought that reference materials and the discussions with teachers were most helpful. There were clear differences between students' and their teachers' recognition toward open-inquiry and the gap needs to be closed. Consequently, it would be useful to guide students to form teams and to spend more time in peer discussions especially when doing experiments and to encourage teachers to understand students' actual difficulties and needs.
