고층건물은 랜드마크로서 그 도시를 대표해 정치, 경제, 사회적으로 엄청난 파급효과 창출이 입증되면서 세계 유수 도시가 경쟁적으로 추진하고 있다. 광주광역시와 전라남도는 광주·전남을 상징하는 고층 건물 건립을 진행하고 있으며 현재 시공 중이거나 시공 예정인 고층 건물은 $\Delta$금호생명 광주사옥(30층) $\Delta$대우 디오빌(24층) $\Delta$광주은행 본사(20층) 등이다. 광주·전남 지역에 건립된 고층건물에 대해 알아본다. 본지는 지난 6월 서울특별시에 이어 전국에 건설 중이거나 건설 예정인 고층건물에 대한 정보를 수록할 예정이다.

지난 13일까지 총 4차례(1차 전남 영암 육용오리, 2차 전남 영암 육용오리, 3차 전북 김제 종오리, 4차 전남 보성 토종닭) 고병원성 AI신고 검사 결과 확진 판정을 받았다. 최근 일본, 러시아, 독일, 네덜란드, 영국 등 고병원성 AI 발생이 보고됨에 따라 해외여행 시 각별한 주의가 필요하다. 또한, AI 발생 국가에 머물던 철새가 국내로의 유입이 확인 되었으며 철새도래지 야생조류 분변 검사 결과 AI 바이러스가 검출되었다. 이에 따라 철새도래지 방문을 자제하고 야생조류 차단방역에 힘써야겠다. 따라서 AI 확산 및 전파를 막기 위해 농가에서 자율적으로 할 수 있는 방역활동 내용을 요약 정리하였다.

Electrochemical reduction of oxygen has been carried out at glassy carbon electrode and carbon ultramicroelectrode, the surface of which is modified with a new Co(Ⅱ)-Schiff base complex, Co(Ⅱ)-3,4-bis(salicylidene diimine)toluene in 1 M KOH solution. The results obtained from cyclic voltammetric and chronoamperometric experiments are consistent with the formation of the reasonably stable superoxide ions as a primary electron transfer reaction product. The exchange rate constant obtained for oxygen reduction is about 0.02 cm/s.

The photochemical decomposition of aqueous ammonia in the absence (saturated with argon) and the presence of O2 (saturated with air or oxygen) has been investigated using 184.9 nm UV light. The decomposition of ammonia depended on the concentration of oxygen in the solution. With increasing the concentration of oxygen, the decomposition of ammonia diminishes. Hydrazine is found the major product from the irradiation. In the presence of oxygen, hydrogenperoxide was also produced. The product yields depended also on the concentration of oxygen in the solution. The initial quantum yield of the products and of the ammonia decomposed were determined. Probable reaction mechanisms for the reaction were presented from the products analysis.

The electrocatalytic reduction of dioxygen by Co(TTFP)(Y)2 {Y=H2O or HO-} is investigated by cyclic voltammetry, spectroelectrochemistry, hydrodynamic voltammetry at a glassy carbon electrode in dioxygen-saturated aqueous solutions. Electrocatalytic reduction of dioxygen by CoⅡ(TTFP)(Y)2 establishes a pathway of 2e- reduction to form hydrogen peroxide, and then the generated hydrogen peroxide is reduced to water by CoⅠ(TTFP)(Y)2 at more negative potential. CoⅡ(TTFP)(Y)2 may bind dioxygen to produce the adduct complex [CoⅡ-O2 or CoⅢ-O2] which exhibits a Soret band at 411 nm and Q band at 531 nm.

Two different acyl substituents were introduced at the lower rim of calix[4]arene by the two step reactions. Calix[4]arenes (1) reacted with 3,5-dinitrobenzoyl chloride to yield monosubstituted calix[4]arene (2). Second substitution was achieved by the reaction of 2 with various acyl chlorides. Aminomethylation of monobenzoylated calix[4]arene was conducted successfully in the presence of secondary amine and formaldehyde.

우리 삶에서 빼놓을 수 없는 기기인 휴대폰의 다양한 컨텐츠 기술 개발의 필요하다. 이러한 필요성을 충족하기 위하여 휴대폰에서 얻은 저 품질 악보 영상을 인식하는 기능을 구현하고 MIDI화일로 저장된 악보를 연주하는 시스템을 제안한다. 휴대폰 카메라를 통하여 얻은 영상을 인식한 결과 평균 93.4%의 악보 인식률을 얻을 수 있었다.

본 논문은 ESS나, 고압 DC 전압을 입력으로 받아 주변 제어기 제어보드의 전력을 공급하기 위한 새로운 고압 SMPS 토포로지를 제안하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 고압 SMPS의 사양은 최근 고압화 추세인 ESS 전압을 허용할 수 있는 최대 입력전압이 1800[V]이며 출력전압이 24[V]이다. 제안된 토포로지는 단일 고압 전력 소자 사용의 경제성을 극복하기 위해 분활 콘덴서를 이용한 전압 분배 형태로 구성하고, 전압의 동일한 분배를 위해 포워드 컨버터를 사용하였다. 제안된 토포로지를 PSIM에서 시뮬레이션 하여 타당성을 검증하였다.
