  • An effect of the salt solution on the Water Tree Propagation was shown systematically from the actions of the salt concentration in deionized water. It may be able to suggest that the tree propagation is possibly to be connected with an intervention of the electrochemical or chemical actions of the salt solution on water tree propagation, which may likely depend on the growth level of the trees. We have pointed out that it is necessary to study the structure of water tree under the electrical stress.

  • Nowdays, we can communicate using Information Technology such as internet, personal computer, mobile phone etc. To protect global environment, it is also reqired to invent products efficiently reduce energy consumption. here, I studied organic EL and inorganic EL because organic EL display is appropriate device as light, thin, energy-saying display following CRT, LCD. As a result, I realized that we are supposed to study more on invention, efficiency and mass-production of materials. Comparing with another display, however, it would be marketable in few years, considering short history of its full-scaled studies.

  • It is required to develop a rational transmission tariff system to ensure the fair participation of the players in the market. This study suggests an improved transmission tariff system which classifies the line capacity into line usage and reliability capacity based on their use and reasonably allocates the costs incurred by each of them to users. In addition, it takes the system load variations into consideration.

  • In this paper, a CAE system, $MotorPro^{(TM)}$, is presented for motor design. It is composed of equivalent magnetic circuit method and finite element method. It provides fully automated finite element method that takes only a few seconds to a few minutes. Using this system. 18kw brushless DC motor is dealt as design example.

  • We investigate the low loss of star coupler which employs UV-written tapered waveguide and apply it to AWG. It exhibits the lower loss due to the gradual increase of the width of the UV-written taper waveguide than the conventional star coupler, which is improved by as much as 0.49dB.

  • In the study We measured the MDC across lipidazobenzene monolayer system was the substrate. We discuss the cis-trans isomerization in Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) films and examine the relationship between the structure of mixed LB films and the generation of MDCs due to photoisomerization. As results, mixed induce monolayer of view to memory and switching, it's own function by particles level think. Also, transmission results of stimulus signal it's form by current to appear.

  • An amplitude modulation technique for increasing the laser penetration efficiency for metals has been studied. By chopping electro-optically Nd:YAG laser pulse, the threshold energy for reliable hole drilling was decreased significantly and the penetration depth was increased. It was observed that the effect of chopping was optimal at 8-12 kHz with 60% duty cycle. It is believed that this improvement is due to an increase in the vapor recoil pressure and reduced plasma screening.

  • Rated frequency of inverter driven induction motor for a traction system can be chosen lower or higher. Traction motor with higher rated frequency can be lighter than the lower. But the maximum torque must be checked, because it is very important for starting and acceleration and it should be reduced with high frequency operation. In the paper, two motors with different rated frequency are designed and compared.

  • The harmonics are injurious on the operation of the motor, electric instruments etc. In this paper, it is certified the capability of the electric measuring devices at the input/output of inverter. And it is measured the harmonics of the voltage and current waveforms. Also, this paper presents the efficiency of the inverter's power conversion by measuring the fundamental and total power at the input, DC bus and output.

  • This study has been focused on the selection of optimal electric motor load, which takes a lot of portions of motor driving factor in the building. Based on the past design data for existing electric motor load and method of calculation, it is known that in general electric machine load has been estimated excessively.
