  • This paper proposes a improvement of switching converter's input wave form using VIENNA Rectifier(three-phase three-switch three-level PWM Rectifier). VIENNA Rectifier is based on the combination of a three-phase diode bridge and dc/dc boost converter. It can be available to get sinusoidal mains current, and low-blocking voltage stress on rower transistors. In addition, it can control output voltage.

  • In this paper, we explained the relation between evaluating display device and emotional image quality evaluation in human perceptual view. It is also suggested two emotional image quality evaluation method of display reflecting human visual function. One is the color space of CIECAM02 and the other is capturing moving image. It is necessary to standardize the evaluation methods of image quality based on emotional evaluation.

  • 2-D shape matching algorithm is proposed which uses pivot vector and componentwise adaptive convergence factor. It is proved that proposed algorithm has better result than any other algorithm. It is to be expected that this algorithm will work effectively in 3-D shape matching.

  • This paper analysed basic operation in Zero-voltages-switching quasi-resonant buck converter and considered steady state characteristics. Especially, it is confirmed that converter operating at maximum 1MHz switching frequency in load characteristics. In this paper, a novel slope method is proposed and implemented in regulation characteristics analysis. It is proved that experimenental results coincide with theory results.

  • The deionization behavior in plasma during arc discharge of mercury arc rectifier depends on ambipolar diffusion. It is shown here in the quantitative analysis that a diameter of arc path which affects the mercury arc rectifier characteristics is related with the density of charged particles in plasma, the particle number of extruguish ion, the deionizing time and the recovering time of grid controlled ability. The conclusion would he useful for designing a diameter of arc path of mercury arc rectifier by quantitative method. And it could be applied to the designing of electrical apparatus using arc discharge phenomena.

  • The method to improve the efficiency of a slightly loaded induction motor is suggested. It is based upon the optimal efficiency slip tracking by adjusting the voltage to frequency ratio(V/f). It is adopted the converter-inverter fed induction motor drive system. All the control loops are implemented bh the Z-80 microprocessor. By this method, 10% or more improvement is achieved at a few fraction of the full load.

  • Due to the recent development of microprocessor, the digital control is now in use for the practical structure of the control systems, but it leaves the problem of controlling delays caused by computation time when it is applied to the realization problems, such as application method of the control law and controlling effect of continuous control, etc. This paper deals with robust stability of the digital regulator which compensates for the controlling delays by applying prediction values of state.

  • We have developed a metal detector, which was made with two Hall-senors. We could detect the minute variation of terrestrial magnetism by the metal detector and the detector was handy to carry because it had been runned by a dry cell. So it will be utilized in finding ferromagnetic substances buried in the earth.

  • This machine is a high-vacuum exhaust sealing device which makes the inside of PDP element in high vacuum state, blows inactive gases into it and finally seals it. This machine consists of vacuuming parts, heating parts and exhausting parts. Applying the energy saving technology, this machine improves the temperature uniformity of vacuuming and heating parts.

  • MCFC has been investigated for the last half centry as an alternative energy source. The operating temperature of MCFC is 650$^{\circ}C$, so it is more efficient than ocher fuel cells, and it has needed no nob metal element for the electrodes. we investigated electrochemical characteristics of separator for MCFC.
