Electrochemical Properties of Polypyrrole Nanotubules and it's Application to Lithium Secondary Batteries (Polypyrrole Nanotubules의 전기화학적 특성과 리튬 2차전지 정극으로 응용)

  • Polypyrrole(PPy) nanotubules were formed within template pores by chemical synthesis using $FeCl_3$ as an oxidant. The oxidation peak of PPy nanotubules in the cyclic voltammogram was observed at about 2.8V and 3.3V vs. $Li/Li^+$, while in the case of PPy film, that was observed at about 3.0V. It suggests that the electron hopping on the main chain of PPy nanotubules was improved. When the PPy nanotubules was used to a cathode of lithium secondary battery, we obtained discharge capacity as much as 27 mAh/g, and initial coulomb efficiency by 90%. We expect that the capacity can be improved by further study.

  • $(Ba_{0.5}\;Ca_{0.5})TiO_{3}$ humidity-sensitive devices were fabricated by a solid reaction method, and their electrical properties were investigated. The specimens exhibited good humidity sensitivity, in which the impedance changes linearly. It is shown that electrical conduction with moisture adsorption is dominated by the ions through characteristics of charging and discharing current, and electrical conductivity increases as rasing the temperature and relative humidity. It is realized that relative permittivity increases and activation energy decreases with increasing relative humidity.

  • 수동소자를 PCB(Printed Circuit Board) 안으로 집적하기 위한 방법의 일환으로 polymer-metal, polymer-ceramic composite에 연구가 국내외 연구 국내외 연구기관에서 광범위하게 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 polymer-metal-ceramic composite 에서 PZT-coated Ni의 volume fraction에 따른 유전율 변화에 대하여 조사하였다. 원료로는 PZT(52/48) solution. 니켈금속분말, PMMA(polymethyl methacrylate)를 사용하였다. 전기적 특성은 임피던스분석기를 이용하여 측정하였으며 mixing rule과 percolation theory를 이용하여 결과를 해석하였다.

  • 전원을 공급받아 동작하는 전기기기는 안정된 품질의 전원이 필수적이지만, 실제 부하에 인가되는 전압품질은 이상적인 성질이 아닌 약간의 왜형된 파형을 가지고 있다. 특히 단상과 3상을 함께 이용하는 3상 4선식 설비의 경우 부하 임피던스에 의해 전압의 크기가 변동하는 경우가 있으며 또한 선형 및 비선형 부하를 함께 사용하는 경우에 전압품질의 변화가 높은 편이다. 이와 같은 조건하에서 가장 많은 에너지를 이용하는 유도전동기가 고조파 성분이 포함된 전압불평형조건에서 어떤 동작특성을 나타내는 가를 시뮬레이션을 통해 분석하고자 한다.

  • In this work, enhanced simulation is proposed by using impedance spectroscopy. The impedance spectroscopy is one of the popular methods to measure the electrical property of Organic Light Emitting Diodes. The results show that the equivalent circuit needs a inductance element linked by serial connection and the element of resistance is more important role to decide the electrical property.

  • 본 논문은 DFIG기반의 가변속 양수발전소의 조속기, 터빈-수압관(penstock), 발전기/컨버터 및 시스템 제어기를 모델링하였으며, 발전기/컨버터 모델은 하나의 전류원과 임피던스로 등가화 되었다. 최적 운전 조건을 위한 터빈의 속도와 게이트 위치 지령치는 시스템 제어기를 통해서 얻을 수 있으며, 계통 전력의 지령치를 통해서 발전기/컨버터 모델의 전류 지령치를 만들며. 터빈 회전속도와 게이트 위치는 DFIG의 속도와 지령 속도의 비교를 통해 출력된다. 시뮬레이션 모델링을 통해 전력의 지령치 변화에 따라 계통의 전력과 터빈의 응답성을 확인하였다.

  • This paper proposes stability evaluation of DC/DC boost converters based on output impedance in harmonic transfer function matrix considering line impedance and cascaded voltage and current control loops. The harmonic state-space (HSS) model of converter and controller is developed to obtain the harmonic transfer function matrix of closed-loop output impedance. This work is useful for impedance-based stability analysis of converters connected to DC power systems.

  • Electrode surface reaction on three carbon materials(glassy carbon, synthesized graphite, graphite foil) in 0.5 M K2SO4 electrolyte is investigated by impedance spectroscopy during anodic polarization. The double layer capacitance of the graphite foil electrode is relatively higher than that of other two materials. The change of capacitance parameter C due to chemical adsorption on glassy carbon and synthesized graphite(PVDF graphite) is observed in 0.5 M K2SO4 solution at anodic polarization. In general, the faradic impedance on glassy carbon depends on anodic polarization, and the change of impedance parameter on graphite foil at anodic polarization is not remarkable, because this reaction is controlled by field transport.

  • Ungrounded power systems are adopted onboard vessels which enable more stabilized power supply even in case of electric leakage to hull. If earthing faults happen at these systems, they make grounding impedances of power lines unbalanced each other on the three phases, resulting in high voltages to hull which can bring more possibilities of electric shocks and electric fires. This study focuses on how to configure a calculation module for transferring a grounded condition by lowered insulation resistance into a vector diagram of the voltages to hull. By using the module, the loci of neutral points were acquired to analyze how voltages to hull are affected by earthing faults and the distributed capacitances between power lines and hull. The suggested module was simulated and compared to the measured values from a test power system in good results.

Syntheses of Novel Sol-Gel Precursor Containing Anti-corrosive Functional Group and Their Uses in Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Coatings (내부식성이 우수한 졸-젤 전구체의 합성 및 이를 함유하는 유무기 하이브리드 코팅재)

  • New sol-gel precursors having the ability to protect iron against corrosion were synthesized and used to prepare organic-inorganic hybrid coatings based on epoxy. Bisphenol A epoxy was modified with 3-isocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane to improve the compatibility, and water and HCl were used as catalysts for sol-gel process. Various coating formulations were prepared depending on the type of sol-gel precursors and the amount of each ingredient, and cast on iron substrates by dip-coating and thermally cured. Corrosion protection properties of coated iron were studied by a salt spray test and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy under 0.1 M NaCl electrolyte. Hybrid coatings containing anticorrosive functional group exhibited excellent corrosion protection on iron, compared to that of typical hybrid coatings. From electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, the hybrid coatings containing anticorrosive functional group could maintaine the initial impedance after 500 h, while the impedance of hybrid coatings without them started to decrease after 24 h.
