In this paper, UPS, which is embedded in computer power supply, is developed against the poor utility power system. In the developed system, PIC16C54 is used as the main controller, and UPS system consists of micom control module, power failure detecting module, charging module, power module, synchronous transfer module, and GUI module. Additionally, GUI module consists of battery charging state unit, power operating unit and operating state unit. The effectiveness of the developed system has been verified by the experimental results.

In this paper, an automatic welding system is developed. In the developed system, an automatic welding system is remotely controlled by a portable panel PC. Additional, the DB system such as the operating condition and control data of automatic welding carriage is developed by ATMega128. Therefore, the developed system can overcome the restriction of operating condition, and reduce the weight of welding system and the risk of safety. The effectiveness of the developed system has been verified by the simulation and experimental results respectively.

In this paper, an automatic lighting control system is developed using micom. The developed system consists of digital lighting control system, analog lighting control system and simulator. In the developed system, ATMega128 is used as the main controller. The developed digital lighting control system consist of eight parts and the developed analog lighting control system consist of six parts respectively. Additional, the developed simulator consist of analog and digital simulation using graphic user interface.

In this paper, the thrust control of PWM Inverter-Fed SLIM(Single-sided Linear Induction Motor) is achieved with Space Vector control and PI control. The trembling of air gap length which is occurred between the primary winding core and the secondary structure of the SLIM must be minimized in order to get quick response characteristics. First, the equivalent circuits and voltage equations of SLIM are shown on th suitable d-q axis which analyze characteristics of the thrust and the normal force. Also, modeling and analysis of the equivalent circuits transferred d-q axis are able to make robust transient torque from the current regulation in the equivalent circuit. These results exemplified the direct drive of SLIM with the reference speed and torque were verified by experiments.

현대 사회는 의료 기술의 발달로 인한 인간 수명의 연장과 핵가족화로 인하여 혼자 지내는 노인이 많아지면서 응급상황 발생시 신속한 의료서비스를 받지 못하는 경우가 많아지고 노령화로 인한 심장관련 질환이 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 심전도, 체온, 움직임 등의 생체신호를 획득하고 획득된 생체신호를 분석하여 응급상황 발생시 응급의료센터와 보호자에게 구조 메시지를 보낼 수 있는 시스템을 제안하였다. 시스템은 크게 생체신호 획득을 위한 생체신호 획득부와 생체신호 처리 및 전송, 디스플레이를 위한 모바일 부로 나눌 수 있으며 블루투스를 통하여 서로 통신한다. 또한 모바일 부에서 처리된 신호는 802.11b WLAL을 통하여 PC의 데이터베이스에 저장된다.

In recent years, a importance of EMS(Electromagnetic Susceptibility) is increased with the spread of a communication device significantly. The compatibility of EMS is evaluated by conduction and radiation of EMI(Electromagnetic Interference). In this paper, a leakage current sensing controller which is considered of industrial EMS is developed. The developed system is consisted of power module, sensing module of leakage current, processer module, display module and communication module. The developed system is evaluated the compatibility of EMS by conduction and radiation of EMI. In evaluation results, the developed system is compatible to the standard of industrial EMS.

The purpose of this study was to analyze. The effect of participation physical activities on health care patterns in the aged. The subject of the study was selected by multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling among the aged center and aged club to participate program whose age were 65 and over year old among inhabitant the Kwangju metropolitan area. The data were collected through a questionnaire adapted from Payne and Hahn's(1986) 'Understanding Your Health-A personal profile; Evaluating Your Health'. The pilot test was executed after the questionnaire was translated into Korean.

본 연구는 국내학술지의 논문 중 고령자의 시지각에 관한 연구의 내용을 분석하여 고령자의 시지각 특성에 맞는 생활환경조성에 필요한 기초자료를 얻기 위하여 수행하였다. DBPLA의 고령자(노인)에 관한 연구 538편과 한국노년학회지에 게재된 663편의 논문, 총 1201편의 학술논문을 연구대상으로 삼아, 고령자의 시지각과 관련된 내용(색체, 조명, 시각, 시지각)을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 고령자와 관련된 연구는 계속 증가하고 있으나 고령자 시지각과 관련된 연구는 매우 부족한 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 고령자의 시지각 특성을 파악할 수 있는 다양한 연구의 필요성이 제기되며, 고령자가 자립적인 생활을 하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 도구의 개발이나 생활환경의 디자인의 필요성을 밝히는 바이다.

We developed research strategies for measuring functional performance and proprioception. We determined whether resistance training improves functional performance in the older adult, whether resistance training improves proprioceptive sense, and whether improvement in functional performance and/or proprioception are a direct result of the resistance training or a result of movement independent of strength gains. The answer to these questions will enable those in the sport fitness industry and medical practioners to better advise the growing number of older adults about the benefits of specific types of exercise. The will also enable the medical practitioner to prescribe appropriate exercise to those with limitations in functional ability in attempts to restore independent living.
