Study on the Preference of Readers as to Korean Internet Newspaper Sector (한국 인터넷신문 뉴스 분야 독자 선호도 조사 연구)

  • This study is to understand difference in news preferences targeting internet newspaper readers across the country. 146 random readers were chosen for the survey from Oct. 17 to 18 in 2012. The analyses were based on job categories, genders, and ages. As the result of the analysis, students read the internet newspapers the most. According to gender and age, job category was also significant. Males were mostly studiers, then office workers, and professionals, and females were mostly students, then office workers, unemployed, and housewife. The research confirmed that internet newspaper readers read real-time news conveniently whenever, wherever. This suggests a theological basis for media policy by implying paid paper-based newspaper readers are shifting to free, internet-based newspapers using cellular phones.

A Study of the Influence of Medium Richness and Learner's Experience with Various Mediums on the Usefulness of Mediums and Learning Commitment in Integrated Media Korean Classical Education (매체통합 고전문학수업에서 매체풍부성과 매체경험이 매체유용성과 학습몰입에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the structural relationship between the use of a web medium and learning commitment to develop creative talent for higher media integrated Korean classical literature education. For this we used DBs of The 'Encyclopedia of Korean Local Culture(a local culture DB)' built by the Academy of Korean Studies, and a survey was conducted on 418 high school students, attending a classical literature class which used a local culture DB. The result of this study demonstrates media usefulness of local culture DBs' positive effect on learning commitment. Specifically, media richness and media experience affects the learning commitment through the medium usefulness. These results indicate that in order to encourage learner's medium experience and increase medium richness it is necessary to increase the utilization of mediums, such as local culture DBs.

Isolation of Entomopathogenic Fungi for Infection to the Pine Gall Midges, Thecodiplosis japonensis from the Forest Soil in Korea (삼림 토양으로부터 솔잎혹파리 감염 사상균의 분리)

  • To develop a microbial pesticide for the control of pine gall midges. Thecodiplosis japonensis, entomopathogenc fungi were isolated from 233 soil samples in the damaged region of Thecodiplosis japonenesis, and identified with Beauveria spp. 29 strains and Paecilomyces spp. 2 strains. The morphology of entomopathogenic fungi was observed by scanning electron miroscope. In addition, the toxicity of entomopathogenic fungi was observed by scanning electron microscope. In addition, the toxicity of entomopathogenic fungi isolated from soil samples was determined by bioassay against Thecodiplosis japonensis larvae. The result showed that toxicity of relatively pathogenic strains, Beauveria spp. SFB-168-2 was 82.9%, suggesting that Beauveria spp. SFB-168-2 is effective entomopathogenic fungi for the control of pine gall midges.

전파 표준시 방송을 위한 NDGPS 신호 활용 방안

  • 현대 생활에 있어서 정확한 시간은 마치 공기와 같이 필요성이 직접적으로 확연하게 나타나지는 않지만, 첨단 통신, 항법, 금융 등의 산업 발전 및 국민의 일상 생활을 차질 없이 영위하기 위해서 없어서는 안 될 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 광범위한 시각동기 응용 분야 중에서 본 논문에서는 특히 국민의 일상 생활과 밀접한 관계가 있는 수 ms 정도의 정확도를 갖는 타이밍 신호를 전국에 제공하기 위한 방안에 대해서 기술한다. 이러한 타이밍 신호의 응용 분야로는 열차, 지하철, 버스시간과 같이 수 초 정도의 정확도가 요구되는 경우, 인터넷통신 및 금융 거래와 같이 1초 이하의 정확도를 요구하는 경우, 교통 신호등과 같은 수백 ms 이내의 정확도가 요구되는 경우 등을 들 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 전파시계, 교통신호제어기, 전자상거래 등에서 요구되는 기준 시각을 제공하기 위한 방안 중 하나로 현재 해양수산부에서 운영하고 있는 NDGPS 비콘신호를 활용하여 전국적인 표준시의 방송 방안에 대해서 기술한다. 이를 위해서 유선전화망을 이용하여 표준시를 전송하는 방안, 수신된 표준시를 이용하여 방송할 타임태그를 작성하는 방법에 대해서 기술하였다. 또한 원격지 클럭에 대한 동기 성능을 분석하는 방법 및 이에 대한 결과를 제시하였다.

  • It is very important to protect life, property at sea and marine environments from any pollution AIS, which was been carried out July 1st, 2002 by SOLAS ch. 5, is an communication system to enhance navigational safety by transmitting and receiving vessel information automatically. In this paper, we investigated the positive factors expected by introducing AIS. For this, ship's collision accidents were analyzed. Finally, we suggest methods to solve several problems related to operation in AIS.

  • We have fabricated electrostatic lens with novel structure by mixing surface- and bulk-micromachining technology. Polysilicon was used for both the structure and sacrificial layer, and the structure layer was passivated with thermal oxide in order not to be attacked during the silicon wet etching. Compared with conventional electrostatic lens used in microcolumn, this device has the advantages in ; 1) hole alignment, throughput, reliability, damage of lens, 2) the possibility of arrayed lithography through the integration of microcolumn.

  • To suppress the short channel effects in nMOSFET with 0.1.mu.m channel length, we have fabricated and characterized the ISRC n MOSFET with several process condition. When the recess oxide thickness is 100nm and the channel dose for threshold voltge adjustment is 6*10$^{12}$ /c $m^{-2}$ , B $F_{2}$$^{+}$, the maximum transconductance at $V_{DS}$ =2.0V is 455mS/mm and the BIDL is kept within 67mV. By comparing the ISRC n MOSFET with the conventioanl SHDD (shallowly heavily dopped drain) nMOSFET, we verify the suppression of short channel effects ISRC structure.e.

  • Low voltage actuation and high isolation characteristics are key features to be solved in electrostatic RF switch design. Since these parameters in the conventional parallel plate MEMS switch design are in trade-off relation, both requirements cannot be met simultaneously. In vertical comb design, however, the actuation voltage is independent to the vertical separation distance between the contact electrodes. Then, we can design the large separation distance between contact electrodes to get high isolation. We have designed an RF MEMS switch which has -40dB isolation at 5 GHz and 6 V operation voltages. The characteristics of the fabricated switch are being evaluate.

  • In this paper, we propose a method which can improve uniformity of a miniaturized electron beam array for inspection of very small pattern with high speed using vertical interconnection. This method enables the individual control of columns so that it can reduce the deviation of beam current, beam size, scan range and so on. The test device that used vertical interconnection method was fabricated by multiple wafer bonding and metal reflow. Two silicon and one glass wafers were bonded and metal interconnection by melting of electroplated AuSn was performed. The contact resistance was under $10{\Omega}$.
