Estimation of storm events frequency analysis using copula function (Copula 함수를 이용한 호우사상의 빈도해석 산정)

  • 본 연구에서는 총 강우량과 강우강도을 고려한 이변수 분석으로 연최대 호우사상을 선별하고, 두 변수를 Copula 함수로 결합하여 최적의 모델조합을 찾는 확률호우사상 산정 방법론을 제시하였다. 국내 69개 관측소의 2020년까지의 관측 자료를 대상으로 1mm 이하의 강우는 제거한 뒤, IETD(Inter-Event Time Definition) 12시간을 기준으로 강우자료를 독립적인 호우사상으로 분리하였다. 호우사상의 여러 특성 중 양의 상관관계를 갖는 총 강우량과 강우강도를 변수로 선택해 이변수 지수분포에 대입하였고, 각 지점의 연최대 호우사상 시계열을 생성하였다. 2변수 지수분포의 매개변수는 전체 기간과 연도별로 나누어 추정해 본 결과 연도별 변동성이 큰 것을 확인해 연도별 추정 방식을 선택하였다. 연최대 강우사상 시계열의 총 강우량과 강우강도는 극한 강우에 적용하는 확률분포형 중 Lognarmal, Gamma, Gumbel, GEV(Generalized Extreme Value), GPD(Generalized Pareto Distribution) 5가지를 사용하여 각각 CDF(Cumulative distribution Function) 값을 추정하였다. 계산된 CDF 값은 3가지 Copula 모형으로 결합해 joint CDF 값을 산출하였다. 총 75개의 모델조합 중 최적 모델을 찾기 위해 CVM(Cramer-von-Mises) 적합도 검정을 시행하였다. CVM의 통계량 Sn 값이 가장 작은 모델조합을 해당 지점의 최적 모델조합으로 선정하였다.

  • This study aims to understand and to infer the implications from the career preparation experiences of low-income university students in the context of high youth unemployment rate and the polarization of the social classes. For this purpose, we selected 13 university students who received scholarship from the S scholarship foundation and conducted analysis using text mining techniques based on the six-time interviews. According to the results, university students seem to be influenced by home environment and income level when recalling previous academic experience or designing career during the interview process. Also, these differences were found to have different characteristics according to gender and major. This study is meaningful in that the qualitative research data is analyzed by applying the text mining technique in a convergent way. As a result, the college life and career preparation of low-income university students were explored through the frequency and relation of words.

Developing the Questionnaire to Measure the Perception of the Norms of Science and Applying to Pre-service Science Teachers (과학 규범에 관한 인식 측정 도구 개발 및 예비 과학교사 대상 적용)

  • This study aims to develop and apply questionnaire to identify pre-service science teachers' level of norms of science based on CUDOs, a scientific norm presented by R. Merton. In addition, we compared the pre-service science teachers' perception of scientific norm by major, grade, and gender, and analyzed the types of scientific norms through cluster analysis. For the study, 260 pre-service science teachers from two universities were involved. First, based on the CUDOs of R. Merton, 32 questionnaire items from six domains (pursuit of personal interests through scientific research, the pursuit of national interests through scientific research, pursuit of universal welfare through scientific research, non-communalism, non-universalism, and anti-organized skepticism) were developed. The study found that the statistical validity and reliability of the questionnaire items were acceptable. There were no significant differences in the scores of pre-service science teachers' anti-scientific norm by gender, major, and academic year. We conducted a cluster analysis and identified three types of scientific norms (traditional scientific norm, modern pragmatism, and utilitarian views).

  • 본 논문에서는 기존에 제공 되고 있는 애플리케이션의 기능을 향상시켜 새로운 애플리케이션을 제안한다. 해마다 시작되는 학기에 따라 학생들은 전공 서적을 사야하고 한 학기 평균으로 2~4권의 교재 구매한다. 전공 서적의 평균 가격은 서적 당 2만원이 넘는 가격으로서 학생들에겐 부담이 되는 가격이다. 최근에 부상하고 있는 '애브리타임'이라는 애플리케이션은 각 대학교별 정보를 공유하거나 커뮤니케이션이 가능한 애플리케이션이다. 해당 애플리케이션은 '책방'이라는 서비스를 통해 교내에 있는 학생들 간에 중고서적을 거래할 수 있는 서비스를 제공한다. '책방'서비스는 전공 서적뿐만이 아닌 교양서적, 타 학부 전공서적 등 다양한 서적을 구매할 수 있으나 사용자가 필요한 전공서적을 한 눈에 확인하는데 어려움이 있다. 따라서 누구나 쉽게 이용할 수 있고 직관적으로 원하는 서적을 찾거나 구매할 수 있게 쉬운 UI구성의 애플리케이션과 언제 어디서나 접근이 가능하고 정보의 보안이 높은 클라우드 서비스를 융합하여 사용자들의 편의성을 높이고 다양한 카테고리 구성을 통해 교내에 편리한 커뮤니케이션과 정보를 공유할 수 있는 애플리케이션을 개발한다.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine what made dental hygiene students choose their major subject and how much they were satisfied with that in an effort to pave the way for more successful guidance. The subjects in this study were 320 dental hygiene students from five colleges in Gyeonggi province, Incheon, Gangweon province, north Gyeongsang province and north Jeolla province. 32 freshmen and 32 sophomores each were selected from the colleges.

Education Research Trends of 「Korea Academia-Industrial Cooperation Society」: 2006-2016 (「한국산학기술학회」의 교육분야 연구 동향 분석: 2006-2016)

  • This study attempts to understand the trend of research in the field of education contributed theses of the "Korea Academia-Industrial Society" in the 10 year period from 2006 to March, 2016, and provide the basic data needed for further research projects. It provides the direction for balanced academic research. The 143 theses contributed over this 10 year period were analyzed to determine the number of thesis per year, major of the researchers, number of co-authors, object of research, subject of research, and research method. It was found that the greatest number of theses were published in 2015. There were 77 researchers who majored in early childhood education and more than 64 researchers who majored in Education, while few researchers majored in other fields of study. The number of papers published by two co-authors was 51, that by one author was 44, and that by more than four researchers was 10. The numbers of papers whose object of research was infant and teacher education were 28 and 24, respectively. The number of papers whose subject of research was philosophy, history, psychology, or social science was 35, and that involving education was 27. There were 47 papers whose method of research was quantitative research. The most prevalent method of data analysis was difference verification. Through this analysis of the research trends, we expect to contribute to the balanced development of the academic world in Korea.
