  • 컨테이너 터미널에서 효율적인 적하작업 계획을 자동으로 생성하는 알고리즘을 연구하였다. 실제 터미널에서 계획자들이 적하작업 계획시에 고려하는 제약소건 및 효율적인 계획을 위한 고려사항을 조사하였다. 이를 바탕으로 1단계에서는 개미시스템(ant system)이라는 인공지능기법을 적용하여 제약조건을 만족시키면서 원활한 적하작업이 진행될 수 있도록 컨테이너 크레인과 트랜스퍼 크레인의 이동순서와 위치를 결정하고, 2단계에서는 1단계에서의 결과를 바탕으로 빔탐색법(beam search)을 사용하여 컨테이너 개개의 작업순서를 결정하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 또한 개발된 시스템의 성능을 검증하기 위하여 최근의 대형선반에 대한 실제 현장자료를 바탕으로 실험을 수행하였다.

Cultural Environments on Growth and Tuberlet Yield of Pinellia ternata(Thunb.) Breit (반하의 재배환경에 따른 생육 및 수량)

  • This study was conducted to find out environment conditions in order to increase of growth and yield of tuberlets in pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Breit. The optimal temperature conditions for the growth of tuberlets were good rather temperature fluctuations than constant one and the optimal photoperiod was a 6hr-photoperiod. The growth of tuberlets to the kinds and concentration of growth regulators was good for 0. lppm 2.4- D, 10ppm kinetin and 50ppm gibberellin treatment. In colchicine soaking treatment, the growth of tuberlets was bad, but bulblets formation was good for 0. 05% colchicine treatment for 48hr. -soaking. In colchicine dropping treatment, dry tuber yield was good for 0. 1% colchicine treatment with once dropping for one day.

  • This study was performed to determine optimal extraction conditions of fermented Polygonum multiflorum root by Lentinula edodes (JMI10079) Pegler mycelials using response surface methodology. The independent factors were extraction temperature (X1: $40-100^{\circ}C$), extraction time (X2: 2-10 hrs.), and the ratio of water to sample (X3: 33-100 mg/mL). Their effects were assessed on dependent variables of the extract properties, which included soluble solid contents (Y1), $^{\circ}Brix$ of sample extract (Y2), total polyphenol content (Y3), total flavonoid content (Y4), 2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) radical cation scavenging activity (Y5) and 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity (Y6). The experimental data obtained were fit to a second-order polynomial equation. The optimal extraction conditions for fermented P. multiflorum root were: X1: $91.22^{\circ}C$, X2: 7.72 hrs, and X3: 39.71 mg/mL.

Production of biomass and bioactive compounds from adventitious root cultures of Polygonum multiflorum using air-lift bioreactors (생물반응기를 이용한 적하수오 부정근의 바이오매스와 생리활성물질 대량생산)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the productivity of biomass and antioxidant compounds in Polygonum multiflorum by culturing explants in air-lift bioreactor containing Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium, by adding different concentrations of auxins [indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) and naphthalene acetic acid (NAA)], sucrose, methyl jasmonate (MeJA), and salicylic acid (SA). Results of this study revealed that the explants culturing on the medium supplemented with $9.84{\mu}M$ IBA and 50 g/L sucrose were observed to have higher productivity of biomass and bioactive compound than other treatments used. Thus, we expect that these results will be helpful for large-scale production of biomass and antioxidant compounds from Polygonum multiflorum.

  • This study was performed to determine the optimal condition for Lentinula edodes JMI-10079 mycelium cultivation on the root of Polygonum multiflorum. We also analyzed the proximate composition, total amino acids, and minerals in the root of P. multiflorum cultivated with L. edodes JMI-10079 mycelia. The optimal temperature and pH for L. edodes JMI-10079 mycelium cultivation on the P. multiflorum root were $25^{\circ}C$ and pH 5-6 respectively, whereas the optimal carbon and nitrogen sources were glucose and maltose, respectively. The content of crude protein, crude fat, and ash in the P. multiflorum root cultivated with L. edodes JMI-10079 mycelia was higher than that in the uncultivated P. multiflorum root. The content of crude fiber was the highest in the control. Total amino acid analysis revealed that the contents of total amino acids and total essential amino acids were increased by higher root of P. multiflorum concentration.

  • On choosing insurance terms it would be a reasonable choice to choose insurance terms in proportion to how much risk is to be with considering of how much risk is exactly to be in a cargo's owner of his or hers as there are conditions such as a character of cargo, a packing condition, a loading ship, a shipping section, and a premium. But when we see on the present state of the statistical insurance table, the effects are entirely different from it stated above and these serious problems are of both the problem to prove who is on duty and the problem to cover how much the indemnity are to be. When we see a shipper as the insured, in the last 3 years that all risks has been more than 95 percent is to prove the reason mentioned above and there would be an intention for the shipper to transfer a claim for the indemnity to the insurer to evade from the complexity. Also when we see how much both I.C.C and New I.C.C is used, New I.C.C has been used less two times than I.C.C, that is due to the restriction of the scale of covering the indemnity. So both the introduction of trade clause as to insured in the same line of business and the positive application, taking into account of the principle of proving who is on duty and the scale of covering the indemnity, are to be accomplished.

  • The electrochemical reduction of iodine in non-aqueous media have been studied by polarography, chronopotentiometry, cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry at dropping mercury electrode and platinum, gold and amalgamated platium electrodes. In amphiprotic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, isopropanol and pyridine, iodine were reduced to iodide ions via one step reduction involving 1 electron and in aprotic solvents such as acetonitrile, dimethylformamide and dimethylsulfoxide via two step reduction involving all 3 electrons. The reductions of iodine give well defined polarograms at dropping mercury electrode and irreversible chronopotentiograms at platinum electrode, but less defined irreversible chronopotentiograms at gold and amalgamated platinum electrodes, those are all diffusion controlled. The diffusion coefficients of iodine in various solvents were estimated from the chronopotentiometric data and Sand equation.

  • A polarograph with specially designed cell compartment usable in kinetic study of the mitochondrial respiration of a small sized sample was made, and its performance and experimental conditions were examined. An applied potential (ca-1.2V vs. SCE) which gives rise to the second step reduction of oxygen caused a considerable level of a residual current independent of oxygen, which is temporarily interpreted as the reduction current of the membrane-bound redox material(s) of mitochondria. A potential corresponding to the first slop reduction of oxygen (ca-0.4V vs SCE) did not produce the residual current. Thus, it is suggested that a measurement of oxygen concentration in a sample of mitochondria and submitochondrial particles by using dropping mercury electrode should be done with an applied potential of about -0.4V vs SCE. Consumption of oxygen by mitochondria was observed to follow practically zero order kinetics. Its rate constant exhibited the proportional relationship with the respiratory activity of mitochondria. Usefulness of tile instrument was properly demonstrated in the work on the temperature effect on the respiration of mitochondria isolated from several plant 4issues which were selected on the basis of chilling susceptivity.

  • In case of crude oil tanker, loading condition must be satisfied MARPOL damage stability criteria (Reg.28). But some specific demands are hard to content the criteria. So, it takes a lot of time and efforts to make loading condition reflecting these demands. In this study, PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) is used to make loading condition to be satisfied the criteria. Study result is applied 'CROSSWAY (160,000 DWT Crude Oil Tanker)' in NAPA. The result shows that satisfy the criteria and other constraints and limitation.

  • At the design stage, it is very important to know the ship maneuvering characteristics from the view point of ship performance and for the safety of navigation. IMO only gives some criteria for ships in full load even keel condition. However, the ship generally is operated not only in full load condition but also in half load condition or ballast condition. Therefore we must estimate the ship maneuvering in different loading condition to ensure that the ship will satisfy with IMO rules and navigate safely in every condition. In this paper, we have investigated the maneuvering characteristics of a ship by simulation and experiments with real ship. By comparing with the results of simulation, the real ship tests conform with simulation test and previous researches. Therefore, the method base on real data is well done to estimate the ship maneuvering in different loading conditions. The change of ship's manoeuverability accoriding to ship's operation conditions was estimated.
