CMAC Controller with Adaptive Critic Learning for Cart-Pole System (운반차-막대 시스템을 위한 적응비평학습에 의한 CMAC 제어계)

  • For developing a CMAC-based adaptive critic learning system to control the cart-pole system, various papers including neural network based learning control schemes as well as an adaptive critic learning algorithm with Adaptive Search Element are reviewed and the adaptive critic learning algorithm for the ASE is integrated into a CMAC controller. Also, quantization problems involved in integrating CMAC into ASE system are studied. By comparing the learning speed of the CMAC system with that of the ASE system and by considering the learning genemlization of the CMAC system with the adaptive critic learning, the applicability of the adaptive critic learning algorithm to CMAC is discussed.

pH 공정의 적응제어

  • pH 공정은 비선형이며, 입력흐름의 성분과 농도가 바뀜에 따라 비선형성이 급격히 바뀌는 적응제어가 요구되는 공정이다. 최근 이 공정에 대한 모델링 기법이 확립되고, 매우 작은 수의 변수를 갖는 parameterization이 제안되어 간단한 형태의 우수한 적응제어법이 구성되어 있다. 그러나 estimation의 windup은 선형 시스템의 적응제어법에서와 마찬가지로 큰 문제점으로 남아있다. 본 고에서는 pH 공정의 적응제어법을 간략히 살펴보았으며 좀 더 견실하고 우수한 성능을 주는 방법을 위하여 두 가지 제안을 하였다. 한 제안은 기존의 변수 estimation의 목적함수가 제어기 성능에 직접적이지 못한 것을 바로 잡으려는 것이다. 새로 제안한 것을 적응제어에 바로 이용하는데 아직 걸림돌이 몇몇 남아 있어 연구가 요구되고 있다. 또 한 제안은 estimation windup을 해결하려는 것으로 pH 공정 특성상 나타나는 것으로 바로 pH 공정 적응제어에 이용될 수 있다.

  • 본 논문은 계통연계형 인버터의 정현파 전류제어를 위한 직접 적응제어 기법을 제안한다. 기존의 계통연계형 인버터 전류제어기에 비해 고조파 성분 제거 능력이 우수하고 소프트웨어적으로 쉽게 구현할 수 있는 장점이 있다. LC필터의 L값의 변동에 의한 제어기 내부의 파라미터가 발산하는 문제를 Resetting기법을 적용하여 보완하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 정현파 전류 적응제어기의 우수성을 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

  • In this study, a new fault tolerant controller based on a model following adaptive technique is applied to the reconfiguration mode of supersonic advanced trainer. The designed controller is applied to the flight control system of high performance aircraft. To verify the performance of the proposed controller, numerical simulations are executed using a non-realtime nonlinear verification tool.

  • This paper investigates the design scheme of fuzzy-based adaptive controller to give adaptability for controlling nonlinear systems. For this, a nonlinear system is linearized by the several subsystems depending on the operating point or parameter changes. Then, the sub-controller is designed by linear control scheme for each subsystem and the sub-controllers are fused with each gain of sub-controllers using fuzzy rules. The proposed method is applied to an inverted pole system which has structurally instability and nonlinearity, and simulation works are shown to illustrate the effectiveness by comparison with the interpolation-based adaptive Controller.

  • In the current Internet, it is difficult for an Internet Phone to guarantee the QoS due to variable network conditions such as packet loss rate, delay and bandwidth. In addition, the QoS of an Internet Video Phone is more hard to guarantee because of video data. In this paper, we investigate application-level QoS control schemes that can adapt to variable network conditions, and describe an error control scheme and a congestion control scheme. Based on these QoS control schemes, we have designed and implemented an Internet Video Phone System that supports adaptive audio and video delivery. Through experiments, we found that the Internet Video Phone can reduce the packet loss rate considerably as well as adjust the transmission rate considering other TCP flows.

  • At high angles of attack, aircraft dynamics can display an oscillatory lateral behavior that manifests itself as a limit cycle known as wing rock. In this paper, a classical and neural network based adaptive control design methods of adaptively stabilizing the oscillatory motion by adapting uncertainties are described in detail. All methods are simulated and compared using a model for an 80o swept delta wing.

Neural Network Based Adaptive Control for a Flying-Wing Type UAV with Wing Damage (주익이 손상된 전익형 무인기를 위한 신경회로망 적응제어기법에 관한 연구)

  • A damage imposed on an unmanned aerial vehicle changes the flight dynamic characteristics, and makes difficult for a conventional controller based on undamaged dynamics to stabilize the vehicle with damage. This paper presents a neural network based adaptive control method that guarantees stable control performance for an unmanned aerial vehicle even with damage on the main wing. Additionally, Pseudo Control Hedging (PCH) is combined to prevent control performance degradation by actuator characteristics. Asymmetric dynamic equations for an aircraft are chosen to describe motions of a vehicle with damage. Aerodynamic data from wind tunnel test for an undamaged model and a damaged model are used for numerical validation of the proposed control method. The numerical simulation has shown that the proposed control method has robust control performance in the presence of wing damage.

Model Reference Adaptive Control of a Quadrotor Considering the Uncertainty of Payload (유상하중의 불확실성을 고려한 쿼드로터의 모델 참조 적응제어 기법 설계)

  • In transportation missions using quadrotor, the payload may change the model parameters, such as mass, moment of inertia, and center of gravity. Moreover, if position of the payload is constantly changing during flight, the effect can adversely affect the control performances. To handle this issue, we suggest Model Reference Adaptive Control based on Linear Quadratic Regulator(LQR+MRAC) to compensate the uncertainty caused by payload. Firstly, the mathematical modeling with the fixed payload is derived. Second, Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) is used to design the reference model and baseline controller. Also, through the Stability method, Adaptive law is derived to estimate the model parameters. To verify the performance of proposed control scheme, we compared LQR and LQR+MRAC in situations where uncertainties exist. And, when the disturbance exist, the classic MRAC and proposed controller is compared to analyze the transient response and robustness.

On the adaptive pre-processing technique for the linerization of weakly nonlinear volterra systems (볼테라 시스템 선형화를 위한 적응 선행처리 기법)

  • 본 논문에서는 볼테라 비선형 시스템의 선형화를 위한 새로운 적응 선행처리 기법을 제시한다. 특히, 제안된 적응 선행처리 기법은 (i) 순수 비선형 왜곡 보상을 위한 부분(pure nonlinear distortion compensator: PNDC)과, (ii) 선형 왜곡 보상을 위한 선형 역필터(linear inverse filter: LIF)의 두 부분으로 구성된다. 본 논문의 선형화 기법의 장점으로는 기존의 P차 역(Pth-order inverse) 기법에 비하여 계산량이 상당히 감소되며, 적응 알고리듬이 보다 빠르고 안정된 수렴 특성을 나타낸다. 끝으로, 모의실험을 통하여, 제안된 선행처리 기법의 성능및 실제 적용 가능성을 살펴본다.
