  • 전도성 충진제가 포함된 결정성 고분자내에 대전류가 흐르게 될 경우 Joule 효과로 소재자체의 발열현상이 발생하며 온도가 증가함에 따라 고분자의 용융점 부근에서 급격한 열팽창으로 인하여 고분자 내에 분포되어 있던 전도성 충진재 입자사이의 간격이 증가하게 되며 전자들의 흐름이 방해를 받게 된다. 이에 따라 전기저항이 커져 전류의 흐름이 감소되는 철상이 발생하며 이를 PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient)라 하고 온도 증감에 따른 전도성 충진제 간의 electron tunnelling과 고분자의 결정변화에 의해 민감한 전기저항변화 특성을 나타낸다.   • 아주작은 Reynolds수 조건하의 나선형 미세입자가 갖는 저항 및 이동계수를 계산하 는 일반적인 방법을 논하였다. 이러한 문제의 해를 구하기 위해서는 입자의 중심선을 따라 분포되어 있는 stokeslet으로 수식화된 유동장을 필요로 한다. 입자에 작용하는 수동력학적 힘과 토오크는 이러한 stokeslet의 적분에 의하여 구할 수 있는데 유동특성에 따라 2계 이상 의 텐서에 비례한다. Johnson에 의하여 유도된 적분방정식은 LU-분해법을 사용하여 해를 구하였다. 해석 결과의 정확성은 침상체를 모델로 하여 Brenner의 엄밀해와 비교하였으며, 일치된 결과를 얻었다.

  • In this paper, electric field distribution of dielectric sphere considering surface or volume resistivity is analysed by the use of rotational symmetric charge simulation method. We applied three methods such as ${\alpha},{\beta}$ modified $\beta$ method to check electric field calculation error. We find f method and modified $\beta$ method are suitable to simulate volume and surface resistivity respectively.

  • Magnetic tunnel junctions은 최근 자기저항용 재료나 MRAM용 소자로 사용하기 위한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. Magnetic tunnel junction을 저자계, 저전력용 소자로 사용되기 위해서는, 작은 switching field 값과 uniform한 switching field 분포를 가져야 한다. Micromagnetic simulation을 통하여 free layer의 두께와 포화 자화 값이 감소함에 따라서 switching field가 감소함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 얇은 free layer를 사용하여 magnetic tunnel junction을 제조하고, 얇은 free layer가 자기저항에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보았다.   • An electrical resistivity survey is widely conducted for the safety management of embankment. In this study we investigated how a tidal variation affects the interpretation of electrical resistivity monitoring data of the embankment located in west coast. We monitored the variation of electrical resistivity on the coastal embankment where there was a high tidal variation for 3 days in every 3 hours. Electrical resistivity monitoring data showed a variation of resistivity distribution in specific area according to the time, which demonstrated some correlation with a tidal height variation. Therefore, we highly recommend that a tidal effect be considered when electrical resistivity survey is conducted on the embankment where there is a high tidal variation. For further study, we need a long term electrical resistivity monitoring and analyzing on tidal variation.

Characteristics of the Fracture Distribution on the Granitic Rock by DC and VLF-EM Survey in the Northern Part of Yusong (유성북부 화강암지역에서 전기비저항탐사와 극저주파 전자탐사를 이용한 단열분포 특성)

  • Groundwater flow in rock mass is controlled by the fractures developed in the area. So, the conductive fractures are very important for groundwater flow in crystalline rock. This study aims to find out the characteristics of the fracture distributed in granitic rock in the northern part of the Yusong area (latitude $36^{\circ}24'18"~36^{\circ}25'08",{\;}longitude{\;}127^{\circ}21'00"~127^{\circ}23'23"$). The electric and EM surveys were carried out in the site to delineate the fracture the fracture zones. Since geophysical survey provides non-unique solution, hydraulic data and dilling log data including BHTV scanning were used as complementary data to achieve the objective of this study. Electric survey(DC) arrays used are schlumberger and dipole-dipole arrays. VLF is used for EM survey. The main charcteristics of the fracture developed in the study aera are that fractures associated with basic dyke cut corss the main fracture zone in NNW and play an important role as hydraulic barrier. In trun, groundwater table in the upstream area is lower than that downstream area.

  • 유동장에서의 기포거동 정보의 중요성 때문에 이를 정확히 측정하기 위한 실험방법이 여러 가지로 발전해 왔지만 아직까지도 기포분포에 대한 정확한 정보 추출에는 도달하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 원래 의공학분야에서 새로운 tomography 기술로 연구되고 있는 EIT(Electrical Impedance Tomography) 기술을 2상유동에서의 기포분포 측정방법 개발에 적용하기 위한 기초연구와 기포분포 가시화를 위한 전산실험을 수행하였다. 기포분포 가시화를 위해서는 EIT inverse problem solver로 많이 사용되는 iNR(improved Newton-Raphson) 계열의 EIT 염상복원 프로그램을 본 연구진이 유전알고리즘(Genetic Algorithm)과 fuzzy-based mesh grouping 방법을 추가하여 개선한 영상복원프로그램을 사용하였다. 전산실험 결과 본 영상복원프로그램으로는 12$\times$12의 분해능으로 모사되는 기포분포를 저항률 오차한도 $\pm$1%의 신뢰도로 PC상에서 복원이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • Electrical resistivity survey is applied for estimation of inferred fault and fractured zone in civil engineering and environment field. While 15 m diameter and 3 lines tunnels are excavated. It is recognized that core stone and fractured zone is existed in the weathered slope of the entrance to a tunnel. To make confirmation geological characteristics, dipole-dipole electric resistivity survey was carried out in weathered slope of the entrance to a tunnel. Core stone distribution and fracture zone characteristics are estimated by reverse analysis and 2D-resistivity structure using FDM.

  • In this study, the resistance bias factors are calculated to determine the resistance factor of Gravel Compaction Piles which is one of the soft ground improvement methods. In order to calculate resistance bias factors for gravel compaction piles, two ultimate bearing capacities were analyzed. One is the ultimate bearing capacity in 2.54 cm settlement measured using data of the field loading test on 41 piles and the other is the ultimate bearing capacity calculated using the seven equations concerning bulging failure. The results of analysis show that the probability density function of the calculated ultimate bearing capacities has a lognormal distribution. Resistance bias factor and the coefficient of variation for Greenwood equation are 0.91 and 0.38, respectively, and for those of Hughes & Withers are 1.19 and 0.39. The two equations are suitable for calculating resistance factors for LRFD of soil improvement using gravel compaction piles.

Sediments Characteristics at the Bottom of Shallow Reservoir using Streamer Resistivity Survey (스트리머 전기비저항탐사를 이용한 담수호 바닥 퇴적물 특성 분석)

  • Streamer resistivity surveys in shallow marine environments were carried out to analyze sediment characteristics at the bottom of reservoir. Because the resistivity values of reservoir water are very low and those of sediment are relatively high, apparent resistivity values increase with depth. And it is necessary to eliminate the apparent resistivity data decreased highly when the number of separation increases. According to the repeated data processing, we proposed the resistivity ratio of upper-to-lower layer is $0.6{\sim}0.8$ because the RMS error of inversion leads to the minimum in these range. As a result of the inversion for two- and three-layer model, the inversion including water depth is proved to be more effective than conventional method.
