Magnetoresistive Effect in Ferromagnetic Thin Films( II) (강자성체 박막(Co-Ni)의 자기-저항효과에 관한 연구(II))

  • Grid type 70Ni-30Co thin films on slide glass at $250^{\circ}C$ has been fabricated to develope. From fabricated sensors using above process, we investigated the relation of temperature, resistivity, line width to magnetoresistance and we obtained the following results after observation of coercive force, saturated magnetization, maxium usable sensitivity, delay time, slew rate, white noise, resolution of the sensors. We confirmed that the $600{\AA}$ thin film at $250^{\circ}C$ formed crystalized magnetic anisotropy spontaneously and the sensor using the thin film had capability of detecting magnetic field with sensitivity of 230 nT. In these devices, the magnetoresistance change was increased linearly in ${\pm}10$ Oe range, and the magnetoresistance effect was increased when the ratio between line width and length was increased. When the devices was soldered using indium, the temperature-resistivity coefficient showed $8{\times}10^{-3}/deg$ and increased during the specific properties as magnetic field sensor were weakened. In this studies, the coercive forces of the films were about 5.1 A/cm and saturated magnetizations were 0.64 T, and the delay time in these devises was $5{\mu}s$ and slew rate showed 0.39 $Oe/{\mu}s$ and white noise was -120 dB.

Experimental Study on Local Flow Characteristics and Propulsive Performance of Two KRISO 300K VLCCs with Different Stern Shapes (선미선형을 변화시킨 두 척의 KRISO 300K VLCC 모형주위의 유동과 저항추진 특성에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • The flow characteristics around the stern region of two VLCCs with the same forebody and slightly different afterbody are investigated along with propulsive performance of the ship. The local mean flow measurements and the resistance and self-propulsion tests are carried out in the towing tank for the two VLCC hull forms. The measured results clearly show the formation of bilge vortices and their effect on propulsive efficiency. The comparisons are made for the two VLCC hull forms and the relation between stern framelines and bilge vortex strength is explored. Experimental data can provide a good test case to validate the accuracy of numerical methods and turbulence model of CFD codes for ship flow calculation.

Effect of Stern Wedge on the Wave Making Resistance of Chine Hull Form (선미 웨지가 차인선형의 조파저항에 미치는 영향)

  • Hull forms of a high speed small boat have been developed through numerical studies. A round bilge type hull form has been drived form a using chine hull form with HCAD, a hull form variation software. Wave resistance and the flow fields around the ships have been computed using well-known software, WAVIS. This software employs Rankine source method with non-linear tree surface condition as well as dry transom boundary conditions. The round bilge hull form showed better resistance performance than to the chine hull form for the whole speed range. However, considering the building and labor costs of the small shipyard, the chine hull form has been selected and its wave resistance characteristics has been improved by modifying the bow regions and applying the stem wedge. It is found that the effect of stem wedge is quite satisfactory to improve the resistance characteristics of high speed chine hull form.

  • In the case of underground power utilities pipe such as circular pipe, the most difficult problem is low compaction efficiency of the bottom of pipe inducing the failure of utilities. To overcome this problem, various studies have been performed and one of these is CLSM(Controlled Low Strength Materials) accelerated flow ability. But underground power utilities pipe backfill materials is also needed to have good thermal property that can dissipate the heat as rapidly as it is generated. So, in this study, we performed thermal resistancy test for various materials such as sand, weathered soil, clay and mixed soil to analyze the thermal characteristics of CLSM(Controlled Low Strength Materials) with accelerated flow ability for various conditions(water content, unit weight, void ratio, curing time) and to evaluate the applicability for backfill material of underground power utilities pipe. The test results of 16 specimens for thermal resistancy test showed good thermal property that maintained below $85^{\circ}C\;cm/W$.

부산 동남부 지역의 해수침입 범위 연구

  • 본 연구의 목적은 부산 동남부 해안지역의 대수층에서 염수화에 미치는 조건들을 파악하고 해수침투 범위를 추정하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 Tidal damping method와 SUTRA 모델링을 실시하고 대수층의 특성 및 염수화가능성을 파악하였으며, 모델링 결과의 타당성을 판단하기 위하여 전기비저항 탐사를 실시하였다. Tidal damping method에 의한 시간지연과 조석효율효과를 계산하여 대수층의 저류계수를 산출한 결과 시간지연 현상에 의한 방법이 적합하게 나타났다. SUTRA 모델링 결과, 건기인 5월에는 종분산 지수가 2.5m 일 때 500ppm의 TDS 등치선을 기준으로 해안에서 약 510m 내륙까지 해수의 영향을 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 우기인 7월에는 강수로부터 다량의 지하수 함양에 의한 지하수위 상승을 고려하여, 평균수리경사를 0.008로 설정한 조건에서는 500ppm의 TDS 등치선을 기준으로 해안에서 약 410m 내륙까지 해수의 영향을 받는 것으로 나타난다. 5월과 7월의 전기비저항 탐사결과를 비교하면 7월의 전기비저항 분포가 전반적으로 높게 나타났다. 그 이유는 6, 7월의 강수에 의한 지하수의 유입이 증가하여 침투된 염수의 농도가 다소 낮아졌기 때문이다.

  • Fifteen(l5) series hull forms for full slow-speed ships were prepared by expanding the basic parent hull form developed through the extensive theoretical and experimental studies, and model tests were carried out for each of the series hull forms. A set of systematic data was prepared from the test results and utilized to derive regression equations for the prediction of resistance and powering characteristics by statistical analysis. Computer program has been prepared based on the results of analysis and a sample run is presented.

  • In the present paper, a hull form for the turtle boat type incinerating vessel was developed based on the Finite source Distribution Method(FDM) and 1-$C_p$ method. In order to obtain proper hull form within the limited time and budget, a computer program OCL(Optimization of $C_p$ and LCB) was developed adn used. For the confirmation of the theoretical results by OCL, these theoretical results were compared with results of model test in the circulating water channel (CWC)in Chosun University.

  • In order to protect the electrical fire, AFCI(Arc Fault Cirruit Interrupter) was obligated to adopted in United States of America since 2002. AFCI using by line resistor of neutral trace needs to compensate the resistance variation of the line resistor by temperature variation. In this paper, the ASIC including the temperature compensation circuit is implemented. The successful implementation is verified by showing the effectiveness of an electric and a temperature characteristics for ARC signals by simulation results.

  • CFD 연구를 초고속선 선형개발에 활용한다면 선체주위의 유동장 계산결과로부터 압력 및 속도, 자유표면 파고분포 등 초고속선의 설계 및 기본계획 단계에서 필요한 저항 및 추진성능 자료를 얻을 수 있다. 이러한 기능을 더욱 개선 발전시키면 선형개발에 더 많은 적용이 예상된다. 또한 항주 시간에 따른 초고속선의 운동특성을 고려할 수 있게 된다면 앞으로 항주자세제어 및 내항성능과 승선감의 추정도 CFD 연구를 통해서 가능하리라 믿는다. 이제 국내 조선소를 중심으로, 21세기에 도래할 것으로 예측되는 고속 해상수송 수단에 대한 수요에 대응하고 조선기술의 우위확보를 위해 고부가가치, 고성능이 요구되는 초고속선 기술개발에 연구를 집중해야겠다.

  • 초정밀 박막저항을 제조하기 위하여, 3원계 5lwt%Ni-4lwt%Cr-8wt%Si 합금 타겟(Target)을 가지고 DC/RF 마그네트론 스퍼터를 이용하여 박막 저항을 제조하였고. 낮은 저항온도계수(TCR)를 가지는 박막을 만들기 위해 스퍼터링 제조공정의 변화에 따른 박막의 미세구조와 전기적인 특성을 조사하였다. 스퍼터링 제조공정 변수로써 스퍼터링 Power를 변화시켰고. 제조된 박막은 공기 중에서 400[$^{\circ}C$]까지 열처리하였다. 반응압력을 감소시킴에 따라 TCR값은 감소하였고, 기판온도 및 열처리 온도의 증가에 따라 TCR값도 증가하였다. 또한. 저항온도계수값은 DC와 RF의 변화에 따라 +52, -25(ppm/$^{\circ}C$)의 TCR값을 나타냈다 이와 같은 결과로부터 제조공정을 변화시킴에 따라 면저항 및 저항 온도계수의 제어가 가능함을 알 수 있었다.
