Development of Copyright Education Program for the Infant and Child Teachers (영유아 교원을 위한 저작권 교육 프로그램 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a copyright education program for the directors and teachers in kindergartens and day care centers. In this study, these programs were developed based on the actual situation of knowledge, copyright education requirements, and professional opinions. In this way, a copyright education programs were designed. Through the program, the directors and teachers were trained on the subject. Then, the overall evaluation was carried out through an open questionnaire and in-depth interview. Through this evaluation, the program was modified. These programs were made up of education purposes, education objectives, education contents, education methods, operating methods, and education evaluation. Education content was intended to be educated through examples from kindergartens and day care centers.

  • Problem of compatibility, content protection, contents circulation ok. was caused between contents offerer and consumers by indiscreet right technical development about digital contents. The MPEG committee proposed MPEG-21 framework for these problem solution and for right managing in MPEG-21 inside XML(eXtensible Markup Language)'s structure REL(Right Expression Language) that is a right expression language propose. Contents protection, circulation, standard right information representation for administration that is reasonable and is the transposition enemy mutually by REL's use doing based on this MPEG-21 were available. Fast correspondence about new technology is necessary circumstance because present MPEG-21 is in study step and REL edit solution as infra technology is required. Also, development of REL document edit system is required mere because this REL document edit has difficulty in edit except expert with MPEG-21 Framework. In this paper, designed and embody about REL document mastication system that right creation and edit are available efficiently about contents easily without comprehension of MPEG-21 framework and client system that present consumption method of REL right document.

  • 1990년대 중반부터 전자 자료의 이용 증가와 더불어 라이선스 계약이 증가하였으나 국내의 경우에는 저작권 및 계약에 관한 기초적인 지식과 협상 기술이 부족한 도서관 사서들이 라이선스 계약시에 지침으로 삼을 수 있는 자료가 아직 전무한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 라이선스의 기반이 되는 계약과 저작권과의 관계를 정립하고, 문헌조사와 설문지조사, 국내외의 사례 분석 조사 결과를 바탕으로 도서관 사서의 라이선스 계약에 지침이 될 수 있는 라이선스 모델을 개발하고자 한다.

  • 최근 정보의 형태는 텍스트나 이미지 기반에서 벗어나 복합 멀티미디어, 즉 동영상 위주로 빠르게 이동하고 있다. 특히 사용자에 의해 제작되고 유통되는 동영상 UCC의 급격한 부상은 사용자의 정보 생산력과 정보 공유, 소비 형태를 능동적으로 변화시키고 있다. PC 뿐 아니라 IPTV에서도 주요 서비스 모델로 관심을 받는 동영상 UCC는 향후 지식 결부형 학습 콘텐츠로 옮아갈 것이라 예상되고 있으며 여기에는 수익 모델의 개발과 저작권 보호 이슈가 해결해야 할 선결 과제로 인식된다. 이에 본 논문은 방송 콘텐츠 제공 표준 기술인 TV-Anytime, 학습객체메타데이터인 LOM(Learning Object Metadata)을 기반으로 OSMU 동영상 UCC 학습 콘텐츠 서비스 모델을 위한 에디터를 설계하고 외부 콘텐츠 소스를 활용할 수 있는 콘텐츠 저작 시나리오에 기반한 메타데이터를 설계하였다. 이를 통해 사용자의 다양한 지식을 활용할 수 있는 UCC 학습 콘텐츠 서비스 모델 발굴과 콘텐츠의 확대 재생산에 있어서 적극적인 저작권 보호가 이루어질 것을 기대한다.

  • In this paper, a research model was designed to investigate the factors affecting the purpose intentions to the online paid knowledge contents in China. The research model includes the contents characteristics, recognition of copyright, recognition of paid, the theory of planned behavior factors. In this research, the data was collected by online survey, and in final analysis, 457 users' questionnaires were used. The empirical paper proves research hypothesis by using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0. The results of the study are as follows: the contents characteristics partially give positive effects to attitude. In addition, recognition of paid and planning behavior theory factors have positive effects to purpose intentions. This paper provides a useful scheme to promotion the purpose of purchase for paid online knowledge contents.

  • The study aims to discuss on legal prospects of digital collections' fair use through an analysis of treaties and legislations domestic and international. Based on analysis of leading researches and literature, it discusses legal principles of fair use and defines digital collections' concept and types. For understanding the actual legal system on fair use, limitations and exceptions of copyrights which are presented in treaties, such as 'Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works' and'Copyright Convention', each nation's laws, and judicial precedents. Especially, a legal dispute between 'Technische $Universit{\ddot{a}}t$ Darmstadt' and Eugen Ulmer KG, which debates on library's rights for digitizing their collections without the rightholder's permission, is analyzed. As a result, this study analyzes its implications for the improvement of the existing copyright system in Korea.

A Study on the Adoption of Discovery in Copyright Litigation (저작권 소송 절차에서 디스커버리 도입에 관한 소고)

  • In the Korean litigation system, structural maldistribution of evidence still remains a conundrum. Numerous solutions have been discussed so far and, today, few people deny the need for adopting a system similar to the discovery procedure in the United States. In the intellectual property (IP) domain, a wide range of legislative attempts have been made to improve the litigation system, especially for patent litigation. However, the adoption of discovery in copyright litigation is seldom discussed, despite the fact that copyright infringement lawsuits increasingly involve highly technical issues, especially in case of copyrightable computer programs. The lack of discussion on discovery adoption forms a stark contrast with the active attempts to adapt and adopt discovery procedure for patent litigation. In copyright infringement lawsuits, especially for copyrighted computer programs, securing evidence takes on crucial importance. However, in reality, there are numerous obstacles. Some lawsuits proceed even without properly securing the infringed work. To address this issue, the current litigation system needs to be improved by adopting a procedure similar to discovery. This paper reviews what solutions are being utilized today, and how we should approach the issue.

  • In this paper, we design and implement watermarking system which create, insert and detect watermark comprised of number or logo to protect copyright and to prevent illegal plagiarism through inserting copyrighting information of owner into the original image. In the proposed system, the number or logo as watermark is selectively inserted according to characteristics of the original contents or requirement of copyrighter. The system also has convenient user interface which general administrator who hasn't expert knowledge for the protection of copyright uses easily. Ownership and copyright protection using digital watermarking technology intensifies creating volition of clients who want to create contents such as cultural contents, Thus, we can expect increasing requests for creating contents such as cultural contents.

  • WTO/TRIPS 협정 체결과 WIPO의 저작권 조약이 선진국의 주도로 성립된 뒤로 지적재산권 분야의 변화와 대응은 각국의 주요 이슈로 부각 되었다. 새로운 지적재산 체제는 경제는 물론 교육, 문화, 사회 전반에 걸핀 서비스영역까지 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 지식재산 시대에서 한국과 경제적, 문화적, 지정학적으로 비슷한 위치에 있는 대만의 과학기술 정책과 연구 개발 활동, 그리고 지적재산권에 대한 현황에 대해 살펴봄으로써 대만의 지적재산 관련 정책대응과 활동에 대해 알아본다.

A Comparison of Knowledge, Affectivity and Behavior between Before and After Internet Ethics Education (Focusing on the Copyright Infringement) (대학 인터넷윤리 교육 전후의 인지.정의.행동 영역별 비교(저작권 침해 중심으로))

  • This study was conducted to examine the effects of Internet ethics education. To do so, I compared the knowledge, affectivity and behavior of students on the copyright infringement between before and after Internet ethics education. The subjects of study were 150 students who had taken Internet ethics course in university. Upon comparing their knowledge and affectivity on the copyright infringement between before and after Internet ethics education, they scored higher after education than before, which was statistically significant. The subjects' behavior on the copyright infringement had a tendency to increase after education, but there were not significantly increased. This result showed that the current Internet ethics education has some limitation in making the students practice what they know. To resolve this problem, it is important to do early-childhood Internet ethics education. And more research on diverse teaching and learning methods in Internet ethics education is needed to produce educative results.
