  • 무선통신의 효용성이 증가되면서 다양한 분야에서 유선과 무선을 통합한 형태의 연결망이 구축되고 있으며, 이에 따라 저속, 저가, 저전력의 무선통신 분야의 기술 규격에 대한 요구사항이 제기되고 있다. 본 고에서는 무선으로 저속의 데이터 전송률을 요구하는 다양한 응용분야에 널리 활용될 수 있는 IEEE 802.15.4 저속 무선 PAN의 표준안과 응용서비스에 대해 살펴본다. 저속 무선 PAN 표준안의 주요 특징은 네트워크 구성의 유연성, 저가, 저전력 소모에 있다.

Improvement of Control Performance of PMSM in the low Speed Range (영구자석형 동기전동기의 저속도 영역에서 제어 성능 개선)

  • In this paper, improvement method of control performance by a full-order observer using reduced-order state equation is proposed in the low speed range. Full-order observer using reduced-order state equation is the motor speed and the disturbance torque observer. The proposed algorithm is very stable in the low speed range about 1.9[rpm]. The disturbance torque in the motor drive system degrades speed control performance in the low speed range. The proposed algorithm estimated both motor speed and disturbance torque. The estimated disturbance torque is used as a feedforward value in output of the speed controller, As a result, it improves the response of load torque in the low speed range(1.9rpm).

Slow Sync Image Synthesis from Short Exposure Flash Smartphone Images (단노출 플래시 스마트폰 영상에서 저속 동조 영상 생성)

  • Slow sync is a photography technique where a user takes an image with long exposure and a camera flash to enlighten the foreground and background. Unlike short exposure with flash and long exposure without flash, slow sync guarantees the bright foreground and background in the dim environment. However, taking a slow sync image with a smartphone is difficult because the smartphone camera has continuous and weak flash and can not turn on flash if the exposure time is long. This paper proposes a deep learning method that input is a short exposure flash image and output is a slow sync image. We present a deep learning network with a weight map for spatially varying enlightenment. We also propose a dataset that consists of smartphone short exposure flash images and slow sync images for supervised learning. We utilize the linearity of a RAW image to synthesize a slow sync image from short exposure flash and long exposure no-flash images. Experimental results show that our method trained with our dataset synthesizes slow sync images effectively.

S-wave Relative Travel Time Tomography for Northeast China (중국 만주지역 S파 상대주시 토모그래피)

  • The Northeast China is an important site geologically and geophysically because of a huge volcano called Mt. Baekdu, which is one of the largest volcanoes in the world. Signs of eruption have been recently observed and people are keen to its behavior. We carried out relative travel time tomography to investigate the velocity structure between 100 ~ 600 km depth beneath Northeast China. We used teleseismic data during 2009 ~ 2011 recorded in NecessArray provided by IRIS (Incorporated Research Institute for Seismology). The relative observations were obtained by using the multi-channel cross-correlation method. Based on the tomographic results, we observed that the locations beneath which low-velocity zones are observed coincide with the locations of several volcanic regions in Northeast China. A low-velocity anomaly is revealed beneath Mt. Baekdu down to 600 km depth, which is thought to the main origin of the magma supply for Mt. Baekdu. Another low velocity anomaly is observed beneath east of the Datong volcano down to around 300 km depth, which is inferred to be related to an upwelling from deep mantle. We observed a low velocity anomaly beneath the Wudalianchi volcano down to around 200 km depth, which may imply that this volcano has been formed by an upwelling from the asthenosphere.

  • 본 연구는 인코더를 사용한 Flatbed scanner DC 서보 모터시스템의 저속 제어기 설계 기법을 제안한다. 실제 구동되는 저속에서 DC 모터 시스템을 MSR 알고리즘으로 모델링하여 파라미터의 변동과 부하 외란을 추정하고, 속도 제어주기마다 위치 추종명령을 계산하여 실제 위치에 대한 에러를 보상하도록 설계함으로써 저속에서의 속도 추종능력을 향상시킨다.

저속회전베어링의 전동면 이상진단에 관한 연구 -웨이브렛과 패턴인식법의 적용-

  • 베어링은 산업현장에서 널리 쓰여지는 중요 부품이다. 따라서 이의 결함에 따른 손실을 예방하기 위해서는 이상을 진단하고 검지하는 기법이 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 저속회전하므로 노이즈가 많이 포함되어 절상상태의 신호검출이 어려운 저속회전베어링의 외륜이상을 웨이브렛의 Denoising 기법을 적용하여 정량적으로 진단하고 패턴인식법 중의 하나인 KDI(Kullback Discrimination Information)를 적용하여 이상상태의 진단/검지능력을 시험해 보았다. 웨이브랫의 Denoising 기법은 노이즈 캔셀링(Noise canceling)이 능력이 뛰어났고, HDI기법은 저속회전베어링의 정상과 이상의 분류에 뛰어난 검지능력이 있음을 알 수 있었다.(중략)

S-wave Relative Travel Time Tomography for East Asia (동아시아 S파 상대 주시 토모그래피)

  • We performed seismic imaging based on relative S-wave travel times to examine S-wave velocity of upper mantle structure beneath East Asia. We used teleseismic events recorded at 129 broadband stations of the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM), Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), and National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention (NIED). Relative travel time residuals were obtained by a multi-channel cross-correlation method designed to automatically determine accurate relative phase arrival times. The resulting images show high-velocity anomalies along plate boundaries around the Japanese islands region. These anomalies may indicate subducting Pacific and Philippine Sea plates. On the other hand, a low-velocity anomaly is revealed beneath east of the Korean peninsula down to around 300 km depth, which is thought to be related to the formation of the Ulleung basin and the Ulleung island. Low-velocity anomalies revealed beneath the Jeju island may imply that the formation and volcanism of the Jeju island have been caused by magmatic sources from the deep mantle.

  • An experimental procedure to identify failure modes of impact damage using sensor signals and to analyze their general features is examined. A series of low-velocity impact tests from low energy to damage-induced high energy were performed on the instrumented drop weight impact tester to monitor the stress wave signals due to failure modes such as matrix cracking, delamination, and fiber breakage. The wavelet transform(WT) and Short Time Fourier Transform(STFT) are used to decompose the piezoelectric sensor signals in this study. The extent of the damage in each case was examined by means of a conventional ultrasonic C-scan. The PVDF sensor signals are shown to carry important information regarding the nature of the impact process that can be extracted from the careful signal processing and analysis.

  • 무인자율항체는 자동차, 선박, 잠수함과 같이 인간에 의해 직접 조종되는 유인항체에 인간의 역할을 대신할 수 있는 지능시스템을 배치하여 전체적 혹은 부분적으로 무인화한 이동체를 말한다. 무인자율항체에서 사용되는 소프트웨어는 인식, 사고, 행위와 같은 인간의 지적능력을 내포한 인공지능시스템이어야 한다. 자율무인잠수정, 자율운항선박과 같은 저속무인자율항체는 무인항공기나 무인차량과 같이 빠른 판단과 제어가 요구되는 지능제어시스템과는 다른 특성을 가진다. 저속무인자율항체에서 가장 주목되는 특성은 주위 환경 변화속도와 운항속도에 따른 긴박감의 차이이다. 고속자율항체에서는 제어시스템의 처리속도에, 저속자율항체에서는 제어시스템의 신뢰성에 비중을 둔다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 저속무인자율항체의 특성과 기능별 독립성 보장, 반응형 및 인식형 인공지능 기법의 융화 극대화에 촛점을 맞춘 RVC(Reactive Layer-Virtual World-Congnitive Layer) 지능시스템 모델을 제안한다.

  • The Low-Rate WPAN is a short range wireless networking technology characterized by low-rate, low-power, low complexity and low-cost. The LR-WPAN controls wireless channel access among network devices based on the contention-based CSMA/CA algorithm. Therefore, frame collisions may take place at any time, leading to the severe degradation of network performance. This paper proposes a new algorithm that changes back-off periods adaptively in the CSMA/CA process depending on network conditions, resulting in the reduction of frame collisions. Throughout extensive simulations, it turns out that varying the back-off periods dynamically shows better performance than maintaining the fixed back-off periods.
