지역아동센터 아동의 매체를 활용한 사회성집단프로그램이 사회성, 정서적안녕감, 자아탄력성에 미치는 효과

  • 아동은 자아성장의 결정적인 시기로 기초적인 인지적 기술과 사회적 기술을 함께 습득하게 된다. 아동은 전반적인 삶의 과정에서 공동체의 규칙과 가치를 내면화 시키고 사회적 관계의 일원으로서 기초적 토대를 만들어 가는 시기이다. 저소득 취약계층인 지역아동센터 아동은 균형 있게 성장발달 할 수 있도록 다양한 활동과 종합적인 아동복지 서비스가 제공되어야 한다. 하지만, 가족의 해체 또는 기능 상실로 도움이 필요한 아동 및 저소득가정 아동은 그렇지 않은 아동에 비해 상대적으로 사회적 행복과 안전에 대해 취약한 상황에 노출되어 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 아동의 대인관계와 사회성 발달과업이 중요한 지역아동센터 아동에게 다양한 매체의 장점을 활용하여 사회성집단프로그램이 사회성, 정서적안녕감, 자아탄력성에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구에서의 목적을 달성하기 위해 연구대상은 경기도 00시 소재의 지역아동센터 이용 아동의 초등학교 3,4,5 학년을 선정 하였다. 연구의 목적과 프로그램의 취지를 설명하고 참가신청서를 받아서 실시하였다. 연구표본 집단구성은 실험집단 30명, 통제집단 30명으로 집단을 구성하여 실시하였다. 연구기간은 2019년 8월부터 2020년 2월까지 실시하였다. 프로그램 운영은 다양한 매체를 활용하여 자유로움과 안전한 분위기를 조성하고 활동을 적극적으로 격려하며 주2회, 6주간, 12회기, 회기당 60분으로 실시하였다. 이를 분석하기 위해 SPSS 25.0 통계 패키지 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하고자 한다.

저소득 가정의 부모자원 및 양육스트레스가 양육효능감에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Causal Study of Parenting Efficacy based on the effect of Parental Resources and Parenting Stress in Low income family)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of parental resources and parenting stress on parenting efficacy in low-income families Furthermore, in order to verify whether parental resources function as a resilience factor, a structural model was established to assess the suitability and influence of the variables. A total of 603 parents of children and adolescents between the ages of 9-18 were selected from the data from Children and Adolescents Comprehensive Status Research (2009) by the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs. For the analyses, SPSS WIN 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were utilized. The major results were as follows: First, the suitability of the model was confirmed with variables presenting a satisfying fit. Second, parental resources had a negative effect on parenting stress and a positive effect on parenting efficacy. Third, parenting stress had a negative effect on parenting efficacy. Finally, a test of the structural equation model supports the hypothesis that parental resources have a significant direct effect as well as an indirect effect through parenting stress on parenting efficacy. The implications for further studies and practice were discussed.

청주시 저소득 가구의 가정 에너지 비용 부담 경험과 인식 (Low-income Households' Experiences and Perception of Home Energy Cost Burdens in Cheongju, South Korea)

  • This study explored low-income households' experiences and perception of home energy cost burdens and determinants of the perceived home energy cost burdens. Between March and July 2014, a questionnaire survey was administered in Cheongju, South Korea. Among the 434 useable responses collected, responses from 218 households with monthly income less than 2,500,000 Korean Won (KRW) were compared with those of 216 households with higher incomes. The main findings are as follows. In the past three years, more than 10 percent of low-income households had had their electricity cut off; 5.7 percent had had their city gas cut off. To pay for their home energy expenses, nearly 70 percent of the low-income households had had to limit their heating, cooling or spending for other necessities; 38.3 percent had to borrow money. Low-income households reported more problems paying for home energy than higher-income households did. Households with more negative evaluation of rainwater leak, no one staying at home all day, monthly income less than 1,500,000 KRW and householders in their 40s and 50s tended to perceive a heavier home energy cost burden. Finally, the most popular support programs were fuel assistance and discounts on energy bills.

위스타트(We Start) 기관방문 교육중재 프로그램이 저소득가정 유아의 발달에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the "We Start" Institution Visiting Intervention Program on the Development of Young Children from Low-Income Families)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the We Start center visiting intervention program on the positive changes in the developmental areas and literacy interests of young children from low-income families. The subjects were 195 young children (109 in the experimental group, M=71.7 months; 86 in the control group, M=73.3 months) living in We Start areas (Ansan, Gwangmyeong, and Suwon cities) of Gyeonggi-do. The We Start center visiting intervention programs were conducted for 30-34 weeks in each city, and pre-tests and post-tests were conducted before and after the intervention programs. The instruments used were the developmental checklist and the literacy interests test The developmental checklist consisted of 7 domains (personality & sociality; language, reading, & writing; scientific thinking; mathematical thinking; arts; social learning; and physical development). The literacy interests test consisted of 2 factors (interest in literacy and interaction during activity). The scores on the developmental checklist showed positive changes in several domains (personality & social development; language, reading, & writing ability; scientific thinking; and social learning), but not in mathematical thinking, arts, and physical development. Second, the results of the literacy interests test showed positive effects on interaction during activity and the total score. In conclusion, the We Start center visiting program for young children from low-income families is an effective early intervention program to end the intergenerational transference of poverty in Korea.

저소득가정 영유아의 발달과 부모의 양육특성 및 하루 일과시간에 관한 연구 (The Development of Infants from Low-Income Families, Parenting Characteristics, and Daily Routines)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate infants' development, parenting characteristics, and the infants' daily routines by monthly family income, and examine variables related to infants' development. The 2010 data of the panel study on Koreans were used. The sample for this analysis was 1,802 children aged 21-23 months and their parents. The data were analyzed with ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis with SPSS version 18.0. The results were as follows: First, the development of infants differed by the family income. Infants' communication and problem solving skills in families with an income at the 25th percentile or below was lower than those above the 25th percentile. Second, parenting characteristics differed by family income. In the lower income group, the mother's parenting stress was highest, but the father's parenting time on weekends was lowest. Third, the most frequent activity of infants differed by family income. Playing with friends or caregivers was lowest, but watching TV and videos was highest in the lower income family group. Fourth, there was a relation among infants' development (communication and fine motor skills) and parenting characteristics (mother's parenting style, stress, and father's parenting time on weekends), and the infants' daily routines (playing with friends or caregivers). Fine motor development was affected by playing with a caregiver.

저소득 가구 유형별 복지서비스를 통한 생활비 절감효과에 관한 사례조사 연구 (Case Study on the Effect of Living Cost Reduction Through Welfare Services and Programs Based on Low-Income Household Types)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of living cost reduction through social welfare services and programs and to suggest the further ways of saving living cost for low-income households. For the research purpose, low-income household type was divided into three representative groups such as senior household, household with school-aged children, and household with the disabled based on the literature review. Four case households which live in permanent rental apartment in Seoul were selected as research subjects. During March 14~April 10, 2010, each household was interviewed to examine the details of monthly income and expenditure structure and types of welfare services receiving. Although some differences exist among cases, there was a definite living cost reduction effect through welfare services and programs from 12% to 150%. Household with school-aged children required diversified education programs corresponding to the children's age. Meanwhile, households including senior and the disabled indicated the necessity of convenient transportation system.

  • Children from low income families are vulnerable to physical problems including obesity, asthma, hypertension and psychological problems including depression, anxiety. This study was done to identify trends in welfare policy for children from low-income families and future direction for solving health disparity problems. Dream Start is a government-sponsored project that offers services for vulnerable children, ages 0 (include pregnant woman) to 12 years and their families. The Korean Government has made an effort to alleviate health disparity through the 'Health Plan' by establishing health objectives. However, in spite of these efforts by the Korean government, health disparity has worsened in Korea. In order to strengthen family function as well as promote growth and development for vulnerable children, experts in child care need to be significantly involved in identifying neglected children in the community.

저소득가정 아동의 자아개념: 성별 비교를 중심으로 (A Study of the Self-Concept in Children of Low-Income Families : Focusing on the Comparison of Gender)

  • This research focuses on the self-concept in children of low-income families. A questionnaire was given to elementary school-aged children(grades 3-6). 454 children from low-income families were surveyed. The major findings were as follows: first, the variables that affected the self-concept among the low-income families children were relatively different. For boys, the major influential individual variables were in the following order: grade, stress, and the father's affective attitude. For girls, the major influential individual variables were in the following order: stress, support from friend, father's affective attitude, and grade. Second, through this comparison, this study examined the relative influence of variables that affected children's self-concept. This study proposes interventions to improve their self-concept mechanisms.

청소년의 가정요인이 친구요인을 매개하여 청소년의 우울에 미치는 영향: 저소득층과 중산층 차이를 중심으로 (The Mediating Effects of Family Factors and Friendship Factors on Adolescent Depression: Differences between the Low-income Group and the Middle-class)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 가정요인이 친구요인을 매개하여 우울에 미치는 영향에 대해 저소득층과 중산층의 차이를 검증함을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 한국아동 청소년패널 제6차 중1 패널에서 1,522명(저소득층 246명, 중산층 1276명)을 대상으로 구조방정식의 다중집단 분석하였다. 분석한 결과는 첫째, 청소년이 지각한 부모양육방식이 우울에 미치는 직접효과는 저소득층에는 나타나지 않았으나, 중산층에는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모양육방식이 친구요인에 미치는 영향은 저소득층이 중산층보다 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 친구요인이 우울에 미치는 영향은 중산층이 저소득층보다 더 크게 부적으로 나타났다. 넷째, 부모양육방식이 우울에 미치는 친구요인의 매개효과는 중산층이 저소득층보다 더 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 친구요인 중에서 또래 소외에 대한 매개효과는 나타나지 않았다.

균형적 언어교육 프로그램 모형 개발 -드림스타트 저소득 가정 유아를 대상으로- (Development of the Balanced Language Education Program Model -on the basis of young children in low-income families participating in Dream Start-)

  • 본 연구는 드림스타트에 참여하는 저소득 가정의 유아들을 위해 균형적 언어교육 프로그램 모형을 개발하고 적용하는 데 목적이 있다. 프로그램 개발은 균형적 언어교육의 기본 관점 및 교수학습방법의 특징을 기초로 하였으며 교수체제 개발의 일반적인 모형인 ADDIE에 근거하여 분석-설계-개발-실행-평가의 절차에 따라 진행되었다. 개발된 프로그램은 균형적 언어교육 접근법의 관점에서 총체적 그림책 읽기와 구조화된 읽기, 쓰기 프로그램을 포함하는 프로그램의 내용, 교수학습 원리, 교수학습 전략 등의 교수학습방법, 교수학습평가체제가 제시되었다. 프로그램의 적용은 2015년 6월부터 11월 초반까지 드림스타트에 참여하는 유아 20명을 대상으로 이루어졌으며 유아 읽기 발달 검사, 교사 저널, 부모 만족도 조사를 통해 적용된 프로그램을 평가하였다. 적용결과, 유아들의 읽기 발달에 있어서 향상되는 경향성을 보였으며 교사저널의 질적 분석 결과 책 선호도, 글자에 대한 관심, 개별화된 언어교수법의 효과성 등 문해 발달의 기초적 능력의 향상에서 프로그램의 우수성을 찾을 수 있었다. 본 연구는 균형적 언어교육 접근법의 관점에서 저소득 가정 유아의 문해 발달을 지원하는 구체적인 프로그램의 실행방법을 제시했다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.
