본 연구는 혁신확산이론의 관점에서 전자저널 구축이 국내 학술지에 미치는 요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 국내 과학, 의학 분야 학술지를 발간하는 학회 학술지 담당자를 대상으로 서면인터뷰를 통해 연구 데이터를 수집하였다. 연구 결과, 혁신확산 이론 다섯 가지 속성은 전자저널을 구축을 지속하거나 채택 하는데 중요한 요인으로 작용하고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 특히 상대적 유익성 및 적합성은 전자저널 구축 확산을 강화하는 핵심 요소로 작용하고 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 각 속성별 긍정적인 요인을 분석하고 국내 학술지의 전자저널 구축 확산 및 지속적 이용을 도모해야 한다는 점을 시사한다.

This study analyzed the user behaviors of the electronic journal users and the influences of service quality of electronic journals on the customer satisfactions, customer loyalty, and frequency of visit to the library building. Approximately 60 percent of users prefer e-journal to printed formats. Service quality of electronic journal was measured by four dimensions: reliability of service, convenience of service, public relations, and user instructions.100 faculty members and 267 graduate school students were surveyed using questionnaires. It was concluded that each dimensions of service quality positively influenced on the customer satisfactions, and customer satisfaction positively influenced on loyalty, and negatively on frequency of visit to the library building.

Rapid globalization process is applying to Science field in Korea. Until now, most researches and government's announcement used to examine the scientific level of Korea by using the number of publications in the SCI Journals. I investigate other aspects of the scientific globalization: a scientific collaboration trend, participations of foreign researchers, and the national level of collaboration networks. There are increasing patterns in collaboration and foreign researchers' participation, and the Impact Factors of the Journals were preceded by inflating trend in the participations of foreign researchers. Also, the breadth and the density are different from each science fields in the national level of collaboration networks. These findings are related to the process of globalization in the Korean science journals and the science fields.

Copyright law generally regulates interlibrary loan related with duplication and transmission of print journal articles in each country. However, it could not be assured whether library can fulfill the interlibrary loan requests for e-journal articles is restricted by license agreements with publishers or vendors. This study aims to seek the way that libraries can provide interlibrary loan requests for e-journal articles in accordance with copyright law and license agreements.

낸드 플래시 메모리는 저장장치로서 널리 사용되는 소자이다. 플래시 메모리 기반의 저장장치 시스템에서 파일 시스템의 저널링 기능을 사용할 때, 플래시 메모리의 특징을 고려해주는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 플래시 메모리 기반의 저장장치 시스템에서 파일 시스템의 저널링 연산이 미치는 영향에 대해서 분석해 보고, 오버헤드가 될 만한 부분을 찾아본다. 이러한 오버헤드가 될 만한 부분을 찾아서 제거해줌으로써 플래시 메모리의 사용성을 증대시킬 수 있다.

Electronic publications, including e-journals, show a rapid expansion due to its several advantages for the academic and research community. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of e-journals on scholarly communication. The impact factors and immediacy indices were provided via JCR social science edition have been used to conduct a series of analysis on three subject fields, economics, law and psychology. The data from the last eight years show that the impact factors of e-journals have not changed, but immediacy indices have intensely increased in recent two years. Significant increase of immediacy indices is probably due to prevalence of e-journals or electronic sources of articles. The result reveals that e-journals play an important role in speeding up the scholarly communication. It is expected that the findings of this study can contribute to more efficient management of the digital libraries.

Increasing researcher's demand on electronic journals as the most important research resource, libraries have made effort to develop electronic journals efficiently with cooperating through consortium. However, Korean electronic journal consortium are leaded by representatives and e-journal contents providers rather than library members. KESLI has the largest members in Korean libraries consortium and is needed to identify the key issues of KESLI consortia by these stakeholders. This study suggests to develop a future business model for KESLI analyzing KESLI stakeholder's expectation and needs by focused group interview.

학자의 연구능력과 성과를 질적인 면을 포함하여 제대로 가늠하지 못하는 사회에서는 대신 몇몇 평가지표가 등장하는데, 한국에서는 영향력지수(Impact Factor)와 함께 많이 사용되는 것이 Nature와 Science 저널에 실린 논문이다. 두 저널은 과학의 전 분야를 대상으로 하며, 영향력지수가 25-35점으로 다른 저널(예: Astrophysical Journal ~6점)보다 월등히 높아 세간에서 '매우 좋은' 저널로 불리며, 여기에 실리는 논문이 '뛰어난' 논문으로 평가되고 있다. 우리는 2006-2010년의 5년간 두 저널에 실린 논문의 통계를 분석하였다. 전체 논문의 수는 7788편이며 생명과학 논문이 62.4%, 물리과학 논문이 37.0%를 차지한다. 천문학 논문의 수는 544편인데, 이는 전체 논문 중에는 7.0%를 차지하고 물리과학 논문 중에는 18.9%를 차지한다. 평균적으로 매년 Nature에는 약 64편, Science에는 약 45편의 천문학 논문이 실렸다. 천문학 논문들의 경우 세부 분야별 논문의 비율과 사용한 장비의 분포를 조사하였다. 전체 논문 중 국내의 한국인 저자가 포함된 논문은 86편인데 이는 전체 논문 중 1.10%에 해당한다. 이들의 물리(25.6%), 화학(16.3%), 생명과학(29.1%), 지구과학(12.8%), 공학(16.3%) 분야별 비율을 구했다. 천문학 분야의 국내 한국인 저자 논문은 7편에 해당한다. 본 발표에서는 우리가 구한 여러 가지 통계치와 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

최근 학제간 연구에 대한 관심이 커지면서 자연스럽게 연구자들 간의 협력관계, 특히 학술적 협력관계에 대한 관심 역시 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 공저 네트워크 자체의 속성에 대한 연구 뿐만 아니라 공저 분석 기법을 통해 특정 학문 분야의 지적 구조를 해석하려는 연구들이 꾸준히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 공저 네트워크 분석을 통해 국외 학제적 저널의 공저 현황과 소속기관 유형을 살펴보고 매개 중심성과 연결정도 중심성을 통해 학술지별 주요 소속기관과 저자들의 위치, 그리고 그들간의 협력 관계를 살펴보고자 하였다.

This study first compared and analyzed AACR2(1998 Revision), ISBD(ER), CCM Module 31, OCLC Manual according to chief areas related to cataloging Internet-based electronic journal. Also, it analyzed the fields and characteristics related to it in USMARC. Next, it reviewed the problems of cataloging Internet-based electronic journal and suggested it's improvements. As a result, this study can be used as the basic data to develop KCR and KORMARC format appropriate to cataloging Internet-based electronic journal.
