This thesis will select one of the books that went out of print, and republish it using the ePub and PDF format to observe the effective and economic method to republish it as an e-book. Conclusively, e-book in PDF format was advantageous over ePub production. The ePub has limitations of electronically publishing the books went out of print prior to 21st century when storing the original text was not common, as well as book with complex layouts. The PDF format was able to capture and recreate the sensitivity that can only be presented by vintage books, also adding to the cultural value. To publish PDF e-books, the foremost requirement is to prepare a standardized system that allows comprehensive browsing of the current status of the book, and also creating an environment for copyrighted publishers to more actively publish e-books by diversifying the distribution platforms and properly allocating the profit generated by use of the copyright. This thesis provides a simulation of e-book publications, for small and medium size publishers and writers who are hesitant to publish e-books, to take more aggressive approach in entering the business.

A fairy tale of information by word of mouth gets to this day with admitting the change of period. A fairy tale reflects the morality of the education of children. The late 17th century, the information by an author of classical literature collects and the literature genre of children begins to fix. In 1697, Perrault publicates and is a volume of eight volumes' tale. Perrault describes that female children guard against male by annexing a figurative allusion. Sara Moon of a photography artist in 20th century expresses this theme by symbolic expression of illustration. Her illustration brings about many questions and becomes conscious of the veiled significance of sentences by author's consideration. She deletes the Perrault's preccept in substitution of bed photography and she substitutes a wolf with a car or a dog and a shadow, etc .. The illustration of Sara Moon gets ready a foundation of early sex education as reflecting a period. Now, an illustrator gets to rebirth a fairy tail as a new dramatizer of today.

Bernays has not drawn scholarly attention that he deserves. Only quite recently, the reevaluation of his philosophy, including the projects of editing, translating, and reissuing his writings, has just started. As a part of this renaissance of Bernays studies, this article tries to distinguish carefully between Hilbert's and Bernays' views regarding the axiomatic method. We shall highlight the fact that Hilbert was so proud of his own axiomatic method on textual evidence. Bernays' estimation of the place of Hilbert's achievements in the history of the axiomatic method will be scrutinized. Encouraged by the fact that there are big differences between the early middle Bernays and the later Bernays in this matter, we shall contrast them vividly. The most salient difference between Hilbert and Bernays will shown to be found in the problem of the uniformity of the axiomatic method. In the same vein, we will discuss the later Bernays' criticism of Carnap, for Carnap's project of philosophy of science in the late 1950's seems to be a continuation and an extension of Hilbert's faith in the uniformity of the axiomatic method.

Data journals and data papers have grown and considered an important scholarly practice in the paradigm of open science in the context of data sharing and data reuse. This study investigates a total of 713 data papers published in Scientific Data in terms of author, citation, and subject areas. The findings of the study show that the subject areas of core authors are found as the areas of Biotechnology and Physics. An average number of co-authors is 12 and the patterns of co-authorship are recognized as several closed sub-networks. In terms of citation status, the subject areas of cited publications are highly similar to the areas of data paper authors. However, the citation analysis indicates that there are considerable citations on the journals specialized on methodology. The network with authors' keywords identifies more detailed areas such as marine ecology, cancer, genome, database, and temperature. This result indicates that biology oriented-subjects are primary areas in the journal although Scientific Data is categorized in multidisciplinary science in Web of Science database.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of simulation program using virtual reality (VR). Examination of databases resulted in identification of 1,415 studies of which 3 satisfied the inclusion data. Data analysis was performed using R version 4.0.2 to calculate the effect sizes, explore possible causes of heterogeneity, and check for publication bias, using a funnel plot. The mean effect size of the simulation program was medium (g=0.35), along with the skill performance (g=0.59), satisfaction (g=0.38), knowledge (g=0.21). Finally a funnel plot was produced to check for publication bias, but no significant bias was detected. Based on these findings, the simulation program using VR affects nursing education.

The value of experimentally obtained data becomes highest when they are properly analyzed based on valid logics. Many physical and chemical properties such as electrical and magnetic properties, chemical reaction rates, etc. are known to be thermally activated; thus, a proper understanding of thermally-activated processes is of importance. However, there are still a number of papers published with falsely analyzed data. In this contribution, we would like to revisit the meaning of thermally-activated processes, and then reanalyze a data set published misinterpreted. By showing a step-by-step procedure for the reanalysis, we would like to help researchers who may come across such data in the future not to make mistakes in their analysis.

In the context of open science, data sharing and reuse are becoming important researchers' activities. Among the discussions about data sharing and reuse, data journals and data papers shows visible results. Data journals are published in many academic fields, and the number of papers is increasing. Unlike the data itself, data papers contain activities that cite and receive citations, thus creating their own intellectual structures. This study analyzed 14 data journals indexed by Web of Science, 6,086 data papers and 84,908 cited references to examine the intellectual structure of data journals and data papers in academic community. Along with the author's details, the co-citation analysis and bibliographic coupling analysis were visualized in network to identify the detailed subject areas. The results of the analysis show that the frequent authors, affiliated institutions, and countries are different from that of traditional journal papers. These results can be interpreted as mainly because the authors who can easily produce data publish data papers. In both co-citation and bibliographic analysis, analytical tools, databases, and genome composition were the main subtopic areas. The co-citation analysis resulted in nine clusters, with specific subject areas being water quality and climate. The bibliographic analysis consisted of a total of 27 components, and detailed subject areas such as ocean and atmosphere were identified in addition to water quality and climate. Notably, the subject areas of the social sciences have also emerged.

1. Retrospect of Political Geographic Studies since Liberation, 1945 : 1) Period from 1945 to mid 1960s : There was not political geography as a science in Korea at the time of liberation from Japan 1945. At that time were not pure political geographers in Korea. In 1947, Moon-Hwa Pyo, economics professor, published a book titled Outline of Korean Geopolitics. This book was a first one in the field of political geography and available at that time in the logical descriptions. Bok-Hyon Choi was a first political geographer who in 1959 wrote a book titled Political geography for the collegians of Seoul National University. Professor Choi introduced American-style political geography through the book above mentioned. In 1963, Kie-Joo Hyong published an article titled "Korean Unification: Possibility from the Geopolitical Viewpoint" which was a first article published by Korean young scholar who studied geography in this country. 2) Period from late 1960s to late 1980s : Both Yoon Cha and Duck-Soon Im published frequently several articles of political geography or geopolitics respectively in 1968-1969. And they issued geopolitical disputes on Korean geopolitical structure and an application of rimland theory to Korean peninsula in 1969 through a magazine named Joung-Kyong Younku (the political and economic researches). The disputes played an important role of showing political geography (or geopolitics) to political sciences especially international political Science. Active researches still continued in 1970s. In that atmosphere the first Korean book of political geography written by a post-liberation scholar (Duck-Soon Im) titled Principles of Political Geography was published in 1973. This book was influenced much by American political geography after Second World War. In 1980s, the researches continued more actively. Especially administrative districts, capital cities, and sub-capital cities were frequently studied during this period. 3) Period from late 1980s to Present: Recent Studies : 1985 was a year of much production of articles of political geography. The first Ph.D thesis of political geography published in the same year in our country. And since 1985 produced many M.A. articles. Several categories of esearches of political geography was made in the period from late 1980s to present. Capital cities, Korean unification, administrative districts, urban politics, elections, sub-capital cities, and defense walls were important research categories. Reviewing the researches from 1945 to present. I found eight categories of political geography in Korea: capital cities, administrative districts, geopolitical structure of Korean peninsula, division and unification of Korea, sub-capital cities, defense walls, elections, and urban politics. Each category includes several scholars respectiveiy. 2. Study Tasks and Prospects in Korean Political Geography: In relation to Korean circumstances there are three study-tasks. The first task of Korean people is unification of two Koreas. Political geographers of Korea must al survey titled Survey Methods of Human Geography for collegians. This book was first one on survey part in Korea. The book however, is insufficient in comprehensiveness in aspects too. I think that the important tasks of general-synoptic human geography in Korea are \circled1 publication of comprehensive books of human geography in the aspects and methodologies for collegians and \circled2 acceptance of academic world of human geography in Korea of variety in methodologies of human geography for future progress. progress.
