  • 암석-콘크리트 불연속면의 전단변형 및 파괴특성을 규명하기 위해 상부 재료를 콘크리트로, 하부 재료를 암석으로 하는 규칙.불규칙 톱니형 시료와 인공 절리시료를 제작하여 실험실 직접전단시험을 실시하였다. 전단과정 동안 하중과 변위 외에 미소파괴음의 계수와 에너지를 측정하여 전단과정의 단계별 특징을 규명하였고 미소파괴음 음원추적을 실시하여 불연속면에서의 거칠기 파괴부분의 변화를 고찰하였다. 또한 암석 불연속면과 암석-콘크리트 불연속면의 거동을 비교하고 거칠기의 불규칙성 증가에 따른 전단거동의 변화를 관찰하였다.

  • 다목적연구로 HANARO를 이용한 압력용기 재료 조사시험에 이용될 계장캡슐(Instrumented Capsule)의 열적, 역학적 특성분석이 수행되었다. 캡슐에 장입될 조사시편의 온도평가는 GENGTC 와 HEATING 7.2f를 이용 계산하였다. 또한 이들 온도분포로 인하여 발생하는 캡슐외통과 End Plug에서의 응력해석은 전산코드 ANSYS를 이용 수행하고, 냉각수압에 의한 캡슐본체의 좌굴응력을 계산함으로서 강도평가를 하였다.

  • This study length variation test, shock test were conducted to evaluate the performance of synthetic resin form. Results of both thermal length variation test and shock test satisfied the KS standards. for length variation test, the result of the horizontal and vertical valuse were -0.1% in average.

  • 지하구조체를 안전하고 경제적으로 형성시키기 위해서는 구조계 구성인자의 재료특성에 대한 정확한 파악과 구조계의 거동에 대한 정확한 해석이 요구된다. 즉, 실제문제를 수치적으로 모형화하고 구조거동을 이해하기 위해서는 대상 암반체의 초기응력상태와 재료특성을 정확히 반영해야 한다. 이러한 암반의 역학적 특성치는 실험실시험이나 현장시험에 의해 구할 수 있으나, 이는 측정지점 주위의 국부적인 영역에 대한 결과이므로 구조체 전체에 대한 특성을 파악하는데 어려움이 있다. (중략)

  • The new airports apply the systematic runway foundation construction to build the high quality runways in order to take the leading position to win future aerial demands and stay ahead of competitors. This study is intended to supplement the weakness of existing standard compaction test to minimize residual settlement of lower weak foundation during operation of passenger berthage. The fill material was sampled from 4 construction sites using the fill material with diameter of 100mm or less, and the standard compacting test (KS F 2312), large circular mold compacting test, and water-replacement field density test (ASTM D 5030) were conducted. The regression analysis of correlation of the field density test and the standard indoor compaction test showed the unreliable value at P-value of 0.05, and the regression analysis of the field density test and the large indoor compaction test showed the high correlation with R value of 0.8878. It is judged that the construction of overall uniform quality can be assured as the site condition is truly reflected only if the compacting test method is selected in consideration of maximum size of fill material when evaluating the maximum dry density used in design and construction.

Wear Properties of Hybrid Metal Matrix Composites (하이브리드 금속복합재료의 마모특성)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the wear properties of Saffil/Al, Saffil/A12O3/Al and Saffil/SiC/Al hybrid metal matrix composites fabricated by squeeze casting method. Wear tests were done on a pin-on-disk friction and wear tester under both dry and lubricated conditions. The wear properties of the three composites were evaluated in many respects. The effects of Saffil fibers, $\textrm{Al}_2\textrm{O}_3$ particles and SiC particles on the wear behavior of the composites were investigated. Wear mechanisms were analyzed by observing the worn surfaces of the composites. The variation of coefficient of friction(COF) during the wear process was recorded by using a computer. Under dry sliding condition, Saffil/SiC/Al showed the best wear resistance under high temperature and high load, while the wear resistances of Saffil/Al and Saffi1/$\textrm{Al}_2\textrm{O}_3$/Al were very similar. Under dry sliding condition, the dominant wear mechanism was abrasive wear under mild load and room temperature, and the dominant wear mechanism changed to adhesive wear as load or temperature increased. Molten wear occurred at high temperature. Compared with the dry sliding condition, all three composites showed excellent wear resistance when lubricated by liquid paraffin. Under lubricated condition, Saffil/Al showed the best wear resistance among them, and its COF value was the smallest. The dominant wear mechanism of the composites under lubricated condition was microploughing, but microcracking also occurred to them to different extents.
