Time Delay Error Analysis and Compensation Method of Integrated Navigation System for Aircraft Store (항공장착물의 전달정렬을 위한 통합항법장치 시간 지연 오차 분석 및 보상 기법)

  • The GPS/INS integrated navigation system, which is one of the electronic equipments mounted on military aircraft store, can not directly receive GPS signals by the aircraft wing before the drop, so GPS navigation data is received from the aircraft and used for filter integration, afterwards, the integrated navigation is performed using the GPS information directly received through the antenna. In this case, it is possible to operate the mount in old aircraft without any modification of the aircraft when GPS data is transmitted using wireless. However, the delay occurs while the aircraft navigation data is transmitted to the integrated navigation filter of the aircraft store via wireless, which affects the time synchronization of the GPS measurement and the INS information, affecting the integrated navigation performance. In this paper, an algorithm to analyze and compensate the effect of generation and transmission delay that can occur when implementing GPS/INS integrated navigation system of aircraft store that receives GPS data via wireless.

Performance Evaluation of a Switch Router with Output-Buffer (출력 버퍼를 장착한 스위치 라우터의 성능 분석)

  • In this paper, a performance evaluation model of the switch router with the multiple-buffered crossbar switches is proposed and examined. Buffered switch technique is well known to solve the data collision problem of the crossbar switch. The proposed evaluation model is developed by investigating the transfer patterns of data packets in a switch with output-buffers. The performance of the multiple-buffered crossbar switch is analyzed. Steady state probability concept is used to simplify the analyzing processes. Two important parameters of the network performance, throughput and delay, are then evaluated. To validate the proposed analysis model, the simulation is carried out on a network that uses the multiple buffered crossbar switches. Less than $2\%$ differences between analysis and simulation results are observed. It is also shown that the network performance is significantly improved when the small number of buffer spaces is given. However, the throughput elevation is getting reduced and network delay becomes increasing as more buffer spaces are added in a switch.

Structural Static Test of Pylon for External Attachment Separation Load (외부장착물 분리하중에 대한 파일런 구조 정적시험)

  • The bomb rack unit (BRU) installed inside the pylon serves to fix external attachments such as external fuel tank or external weapon, and also serves to separate external attachments in case of emergency. In particular, the load generated when the external attachment is separated from the BRU is called the punching load. In this study, we present the results of a structural static test performed to verify the structural integrity of the pylon under the BRU punching condition acting on it. In the structural static test report, we present the implementation method for the separation load of the external attachment and the test profile for the BRU punching load condition, and compared the error between the load input signal and the feed-back signal to determine the appropriateness of load control in each test. Furthermore, we compared the strain results obtained in the numerical analysis and structural test at the main positions of the specimen. As a result, it was shown that the load of the actuators were properly controlled within the allowable error range in each test, and the numerical analysis effectively predicted the test result. Finally, through structural static tests conducted by design limit load and design ultimate load, we verified that the aircraft pylon dealt with in this study has sufficient structural strength for external attachment separation condition.

  • 본 논문에서는, axa 출력 버퍼 스위치로 구성된 핫스팟이 발생된 상황 하에서 다단 연결 망(Multistage interconnection Network, MIN)의 성능 예측 모형을 제안하였다. 제안한 성능 예측 오형은 먼저 네트워크 내부 임의 스위치 입력 단에 유입되는 데이터 패킷이 스위치 내부에서 전송되는 유형을 확률적으로 분석하여 설계하였다. 성능분석 모형은 스위치에 장착된 버퍼의 개수와 무관하게 버퍼를 장착한 axa 스위치의 성능, 네트워크 정상상태 처리율(Normalized Throughput, NT)과 네트워크 지연시간(Network Delay)의 예측이 가능하고, 나아가서 이들로 구성진 모든 종류의 다단 연결망 성능 분석에 적용이 용이하다. 제안한 수학적 성능 분석 연구의 실효성 검증을 위하여 병행된 시뮬레이션 결과는 상호 미세한 오차 범위 내에서 모형의 예측 데이터와 일치하는 결과를 보여 분석 모형의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • LEO Satellite that observes earth with optical camera or synthetic aperture radar is placed at hundreds of kilometers altitude and undergoes severe thermal load. The thermal deformation of structure by the thermal load makes payload not to point toward wanted ground position. The payload pointing direction change by thermal distortion is called thermal pointing error. This is carried out by 3 steps that are thermal analysis, temperature conversion and structural analysis. In this paper, the possibility of successful mission through thermal pointing error analysis is described.

  • From the perspective of commercializing rotating machines equipped with magnetic bearings, maintaining the error between the mechanical center and the magnetic center within an acceptable level is crucial. The existing method of measuring the center error is to adjust the position references that minimize the current imbalance present in levitation control outputs. However, this method can be applied only after all the components of the system are operational. In this paper, we present a new method of estimating the center error by using only the position sensors and a current source. A force model that relates the position of the rotor with the coil currents is set up. Using this model, the center error is estimated by minimizing the difference between the force angles and the contact angles measured in a pull test. The feasibility of the method is numerically and experimentally validated.

  • Installation of digital tachograph, black box, and ADAS have been enforced to commercial vehicles for preventing violent driving and accidents by the Traffic Safety Act in Korea. Nevertheless, the damage caused by road hazards has increased 1.5 times in 2016 compared to 2013. So, developing new technologies that can identify road hazard using the sensors installed in commercial vehicles are conducting by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. As a part of the technologies, this research analyze the error range of GPS installed in commercial vehicles that vary according to the driving speed. As a result, the average error was 9.72m at the driving speed of 100km/h, and the error was 2.1 times larger than the average error of 4.69m at the driving speed of 40km/h. The event point proper integration/separation range(m) was analyzed to be 20m with a recognition rate of 90% or more at the same point regardless of driving speed. The results of this research can be used as basic data for improving the accuracy of location-based data would be collected using commercial vehicles.

  • 본 연구에서 검토한 바와 같이 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션은 실차실험과 다소의 오차는 있지만 매우 값싼 환경에서 컴퓨터장비에 거의 종속되지 않고 연구가 가능하므로 충돌실험이 고가인 관계로 여러 경우를 시도할 수 없는 경우 즉, 조인트 성격변화, 의자위치, 벨트의 신율 및 체결상태, 에어백의 장착여부 등에 대한 변화가 있을 때에 이미 확립된 모델에 입력데이타를 수정 혹은 추가함으로써 충돌시 반응을 예상할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 그러나, 본 연구에서는 비록 우수한 모델링이 확립되었다 할지라도, 차종이나 주변환경이 바뀔때는 다시 모델링을 해야 되는 문제가 남게 되며 이때 필요한 대상차에 대한 입력데이타가 새로이 정의되어야만 한다.

  • 정보화 농업기술의 발전에 따라 효율적인 농작물의 관리와 농작업의 기계적 제어를 위하여 위치정보의 필요성이 점차 증가하고 있다. 1990년대 말부터 위치정보를 기반으로 한 정밀농업 기술의 확산에 따라 측위시스템을 탑재한 농작업기의 생산과 보급이 급속히 늘어나고 있다. 미국의 경우, 생산 콤바인의 70%가 GPS(Global Positioning System)를 장착하여 출하되고 있다. GPS의 경우 정밀도에 따라 수 십만 원에서 수천만 원에 이르기까지 가격의 편차가 매우 심하며 구미의 경우 약 1m이내의 측위 오차범위를 갖는 수백 만원 정도의 수신기를 농기계에 탑재하여 이온하고 있다. (중략)

  • In this paper, we developed a position correction system of industrial robot for door-chassis assembly task. With the aid of a dedicated vision system, industrial robot accomplished visually acceptable door-chassis's assembly task. The alogorithm of the position detection of notch and 2 dimesional position correction algorithm are noteworthy. The obtained algorithms were satisfatorily implemented for a real door-chassis model.
