The DAISY, an international digital talking book standard, has been established to help reading-disabled people read books normally. As many societies' interests in reading-disabled people are arising, reading environment for them is also getting improved by supplying alternative books. In the digital world, however, there is still lack of e-book playing software for them. In this paper, we design and partially implement an android smartphone e-book viewer. By analyzing the features and relations of DAISY3 files, we can find several important design points to properly implement DAISY3 viewer. We are sure, when using our results, that various DAISY3-compliant e-book viewers can be implemented easily and quickly.

Congenital dilatation of the common bile duct is relatively rare anomaly. Its pathogenesis has not been completely understood. Complications of the choledochal cyst are mainly suppurative cholangitis, liver cirrhosis, stone formation, malignant change, bile peritonitis due to spontaneous and traumatic rupture. We experienced one case of choledochal cyst associated with hemorrhagic tendency and a cerebral hematoma, which is extremely rare complication. The 3 monthes old male patient reported here was treated with complete excision of cyst and Roux-en-Y choledochojejunostomy after correction of bleeding tendency and removal of crebral hematoma. Postoperative course was relatively uneventful, 11 days after operation, the patient was discharged with full improvement.

Foreign bodies in the air way are not uncommon conditions in the otolaryngological fields. Numerous cases are reported by many authors. This case report is concerned with five cases of various respiratory tract foreign bodies removed under the bronchoscopic control, recently experienced by authors. Case 1; A metal zipper was found at the right main bronchus and was removed by brochoscopy in a 10 year-old-boy. Case 2; A stainless coverage piece of a umbrella was packed at the right main bronchus in the 5-year-old boy and was removed by bronchoscopy. Case 3; A half splitted peanut in the right main bronchus was removed by bronchoscopy in a 18 months-old baby. Case 4; A apple see dcase was lodged in the right main bronchus and was removed by bronchoscopy in a 6 months-old baby. Case 5; A hairpin was also lodged in the right mainbronchus and was removed by bronchoscopy in a 5 year-old boy.

This report details a case of 8-year-old girl showing failure of odontogenesis after chemo-radiation therapy for the rhabdomyosarcoma at the age of 4. The observed results were as follows : 1. Past history revealed that she had received for a total radiation dose of 4430cGy, 29 fractions in 6 weeks and chemotherapy with vincristine, actinomycin D and cytoxan, followed as maintenance phase for 2 years. 2. The patient was symptom -free and appointed for the treatment of multiple dental caries. 3. Oral examination showed hypoplastic enamel on whole erupted permanent teeth and showed retarded eruption. 4. Conventional radiograms showed failure of root development including abrupt cessation of root formation and root agenesis, and microdontia, missing teeth, irregular enamel, dislocation of the impacted teeth. Additional finding showed good healing bone pattern on the left mandibular ramus and angle area. 5. Cephalometric analysis revealed failure of bite raising due to incomplete eruption of all the first molars and made it possible to suspect entrapped mandibular growth and then Class II tendency growth. 6. There was correlation between the time of chemo-radiation therapy and the damage of the teeth.

In this study, we propose a protocol for the communication between process groups required during message transfers. This is accomplished by an efficient process management of distributed systems connected by computer networks. For a single process group, a multicast protocol was proposed, which can control message flows while maintaining the order of messages sent or delivered. Through use of membership-related services, a member composing a process group may leave and join the current a membership anytime during execution. Moreover, message delivery can be delayed by using a logical vector time stamp. The functionality of the message delivery includes a virtual synchronization in response to a change in membership.

Internet telephone uses VoIP as its communication protocol, where it provides various additional services with inexpensive fare when the terminal is connected to the Internet. The existing auto provisioning systems that manage Internet telephone terminals are targeting large size VoIP service providers or enterprises, and has few consideration on the convenience of management for small size environments. The difficult installation and management procedures of the current auto provisioning systems prevents Internet telephone system from getting popular. Easy installation and management system is needed in order to spread out Internet telephone system. In this paper, we design and implement the auto provisioning system that provides easy installation and management services in small size environments such as SOHO environments.

A place for the blind people movement restrictions in place on a relatively equal opportunity of education can not be provided. In this paper, blind people, as well as web access to information on the catch of the blind people and their preference for acquiring information on how to analyze the survey and analyze national and international stories. targeting the blind people Internet using Web Services in a high-speed network system design, training and support services, analyze and exchange information in real-time training program to develop a community, remote from the home education support system to revitalize blind people and would like to contribute to the information service.

This paper discusses the threatening problem of Year 2000 (Y2K) to the banking industry. Of all steps to prepare for this big challenge, the clear understanding of the problem is always first to cope with the corning crisis. We categorize the possible issues into nine facets: (1) Potential Systemic Issues; (2) Technology Problems; (3) Technical Resources; (4) Vendor Management: (5) Supervisory Coordination and Security Issues; (6) Spillover Business Risks; (7) Operational Problems; (8) Euro Problem; and (9) Face Closure or Loss of Federal Deposit Insurance. We believe that each or these nine issues must be dearly recognized and appropriately prepared by those bankers who want to avoid the disaster they have never experienced.

연금분할제도란 혼인기간 중 부부가 가정의 유지를 위해 담당하였던 역할들에 대하여 동등한 가치를 부여하고, 따라서 그 기간 동안 획득한 노후보장자산을 이혼 시 동등하게 분할하기 위한 목적으로 운영되는 제도이다. 이혼여성의 노후소득보장을 위한 긍정적인 역할에도 불구하고 연금분할제도는 다양한 차원에서 비판을 받고 있다. 대표적으로 이혼여성의 분할연금 청구권이 배우자이었던 자의 상황에 의해 영향을 받을 수 있다는 점, 분할연금에 대해서는 보험의 원리가 제대로 작동하지 않는 비대칭성의 문제, 연금분할의 과정에서 가입자 우선 원칙 등이 주된 문제점으로 지적을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 독일과 스위스의 연금분할제도 운영사례를 토대로 우리나라 관련 제도의 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 먼저 개선방안의 탐색을 위한 목표체계로서 여기서는 부부간 역할분담에 대한 동등한 가치부여, 이혼 이후 독립적인 삶의 보장 그리고 연금재정의 중립성을 설정해 보았다. 다음으로는 이를 위한 구체적인 정책대안으로서 ①분할연금에 대한 보험적 기능의 활성화, ②이혼과 동시에 연금분할의 실시 그리고 ③분할연금의 독자적 수급권 기능 강화 등이 개선방안으로 지적될 수 있다. 나아가 현행 공적연금제도의 체계 하에서 연금분할은 장애 또는 사망의 사회적 위험에 대한 적용의 불완전성 그리고 운영과정에서의 형평성 시비 등을 야기할 우려가 있으므로 제도의 근본적인 개혁이 필요로 하다는 점을 강조하였다.

This study examined whether and how personal traits such as SNS self-efficacy, comparison orientation, fear of missing out are associated with SNS addiction proneness. An online survey of 232 Chinese students in Korea showed that the personal traits are positively associated with sub-dimensions of SNS addiction proneness. Fear of missing out is found to be positively associated with all three sub-dimensions of SNS addiction proneness. On the other hand, SNS self-efficacy and comparison orientation is positively related to some of the sub-dimensions.
