Intestinal neuronal dysplasia (IND) is a disorder of abnormal intestinal innervation resulting in dysfunctional colonic motility. IND shares clinical features with Hirschsprung's disease but differentiated by histological findings such as hyperplasia of submucosal and myenteric plexuses, giant ganglia, ectopic ganglion cell and increased acetylcholinesterase activity in lamina propria. Although IND may exist as an isolated condition, more commonly, it occurs in association with Hirschsprung's disease. We report a case of twins affected with IND. Both children manifested with delayed passage of meconium and severe abdominal distention after birth. Barium enema in both patients showed microcolon. They underwent emergency ileostomy under the impression of total aganglionosis. But surgical biopsy specimens showed hyperganglionosis in submucosa with formation of giant ganglia. Both neonates suffers from several episodes of peudo-obstruction after the repair operation of colostomy.

Unique and variety designs are required in the contemporary society as the design has predominant power. National character and identity of traditional culture support it, and it is far more important to reinterpret, succeed and develop unique traditional beauty as the contemporary continues globalization and informatization. Among the accessories of women in Joseon, hair accessories accounted for the majority, and hair style and hair accessories were developed by their status and social hierarchy. But, due to social norm, they were reserved for luxurious accessories and expressed their aesthetic desire with refined and simple accessories. The current period requires cultural identity. In this sense, this study is expected to give a new awareness of our unique identity, new concept of the traditional culture and spreading beauty of Korea by means of new conceptual accessories that can be connected with the preference of the contemporary with the creation of Korean style image.

The purpose of this study are the following two: first, to identify success level of elderly's Aging by their household types and second, to analyze the factors affecting successful aging. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for policy and program development for the successful life of the elderly. For this purpose, 699 single household, 1,412 couple household and 238 couple/child household data in personal survey and supplementary survey of the 4th Korean Retirement and Income Study. According to the analysis, the level of successful later life of single household is lower than that of couple or couple/children household. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify the factors affecting successful aging in single household. The results showed that economic activity, economic independence, housework, neighborhood affairs, family relations, and parent-child relationship were statistically significant. Economic independence, physical health, friendship, and parent-child relationship were found to affect in couple household. Physical health and friendship were found to be significant factors for successful aging in couple/child household.

The purpose of this study is to highlight nationalistic characteristics of private school's military gymnastic education in early modern Korea. so deal with the process of Military Gymnastics between 1895, when modern public school in Korea was first established, and 1910, when Korea was deprived of its sovereignty by japan. The following conclusions have been drawn from the study. The main idea of military style-gymnastics came from the consciousness of crisis caused by threat of the Japanese aggression. At that time, Korean realized the importance of physical education by this crisis consciousness. And Korean people was interested in physical education that they could not think of in traditional education. This Gymnastic class was much more like military training and has a patriotic character.

This study attempted to find a new manufacturing method through Basalt fiber and resin infusion method to expand the range of expressions of Contemporary jewelry produced in studios. To this end, the concept of fiber introduction and infusion method was examined through analysis of used cases, and based on this, flat plates and color samples were produced, and then the samples were made to estimate the possibility of direct use in jewelry. As a result, the infusion method process presented certain results that could be used as a production process in the studio, and Basalt fibers were able to express various colors of spray and porselin, especially fiber its painted with porselin, which have high strength and they can be expressed intentionally, it are very valuable as jewelry's material, it is expected to be an opportunity to expand the practical production methods and expressions of Contemporary jewelry.

In this study, the effect of fear of COVID-19 on children's ability in life competency was examined, and the mediating effect of smartphone dependence on this relationship was also verified. For this study, 250 children living in area K who were using smartphones were surveyed as research subjects. The major research results found that the higher the fear of COVID-19, the lower the child's ability in life competency, which affects the child's ability in life competency. And the fear of COVID-19 has been shown to affect smartphone dependence. In addition, It was found that dependence on smartphones had a fully mediating effect on the relationship between children's fear of COVID-19 and their ability in life competency. Based on these research results, to promote the healthy growth and development of children in social disaster crises such as COVID-19, a convergence intervention and pro-active strategy that can control children's smartphone dependence and improve their life's ability in life competency was presented.

This study collected and analyzed articles related to military sex crimes covered in the news from February 2019 to May 28, 2022 in order to identify problems arising from sexual crimes in the military. In order to understand the current status of military sexual violence reported in the media, articles were collected using BIGKinds, a news big data analysis system, and using the Textom program, the study was conducted using frequency analysis by period, word cloud, and semantic network analysis techniques for keywords. The study was conducted using the technique. As a result of data analysis, first, it was confirmed that the public's attention was focused on the victims in reports related to sex crimes within the military. Second, the problem of the lukewarm system of the relevant authorities in responding to sex crimes was revealed. Third, there was a lack of support for victims of sex crimes.

This study investigated the effect of self-control on life satisfaction of youth participating in drone programs. Youth participating in drone program activities in the metropolitan area (Seoul, Gyeonggi) were conducted as questionnaires. The survey data were coded and statistically analyzed. The statistical significance level was ⍺= .05. The results of the study are as follows. First, simple task preferences and physical activity preferences affect mental health. Second, the pursuit of adventure affects happiness. Third, pursuit of adventure and self-centered factors affect autonomy and self-esteem. In conclusion, it can be judged that adolescents are partially satisfied with their lives through self-control.

In this study, we developed elementary science education modules for facilitating students' understanding of the connected nature of Science-Technology-Society. For these modules, we particularly used news articles to make connections among science, technology, and society. We set up the development criteria as followings: connecting science-technology-society, aligning with national science curriculum, respecting students' interest, and appropriating the difficulty levels in terms and concepts. We also studied 4th grade students' perception of using these modules in science lessons. Most students perceived that using the modules in their science classes helped them link science-technology-society intimately and enhance their interest and motivation, as well as their self-esteem for studying science.

A male patient with subnormal intelligence and schizoaffective symptoms was confirmed to have Klinefelter's syndrome with the karyotype of 47,XXY by the chromosomal analysis. He was shown to have a peculiar appearance of tall height, long extremities, gynecomastia and small ears. The hormonal study revealed decreased testosterone and increased FSH concentrations in the serum of the patient. He was also found to have small testes by the ultrasonography, which seemed to be sterile by the semen analysis. We reported this rare case and reviewed related articles.
